Things You Wish Would Happen But Probably Won't

Now that the end of Avatar is HERE I look back sometimes and wish that certain things would've happened that now will never have the chance. (And I'm not just talking about shipping) I wanted to know if anybody else had these same thoughts:

I always wanted a lightning fight between Li & Lo & Iroh.

I wanted to see Katara blood bend against Ty Lee (since she's the only one Katara should fear enough to do it to since she can take away ALL of her bending powers).

I wanted to see more interactions between Azula and Ozai (Does he treat her affectionately like Daddy's Little Girls often are? Is she affectionate to him?)

I wanted to see Mai and Ty Lee fight the GAang during DTBS and what Zuko's part in fighting the invasion might've been.

I wanted to see Zuko and Azula working/fighting together again (that little part of them bending together in the Crossroads of Destiny is one of my faves). Sadly, that definately won't be happening

I wanted to see Zuko and Azula develop (not a Katara & Sokka style) but a closer sibling relationship. Which they kinda do in "The Beach" and afterall he doesn't confront her in DTBS, only Ozai.

I wanted poor Jet to get his closure with the Rough Riders.

I wanted to see Jun the Bounty Hunter and Combustion Man work together.

I wanted Combustion man to actually speak!

I wanted to see more minor characters come back in useful roles (not like the Duke, Pipsqueak, and Haru).

I wanted Mai to see Zuko and Katara together and get totally POed And either lay the smacketh down on one or both of them or go back and side with Azula.

I wanted to see Azula do a speech to the Kyoshi Warriors like the one she did to the Dai Lee that turns them all into little look alike Azula Warriors who dress like her and fight for her. Okay, thats stretching things WAY too much I know. But that would've been a great plot twist. Especially if she used the Dai Lee brainwashing machine to do it.

I want to see King Bumi fight Toph in the Earth rumble six. That should be an amezing earthbend battle to watch.

I want to see Toph go 1vs1 with Azula

I want to see the old men, Pakku, Bumi, Iroh, and Jeong Jeong to put the smackin' on some soldiers.

I also wanna see a Pakku vs Hamma fight. Or PakkuvsHammavsHUe

I want to see Katara fighting Ozai too XD like 1v1

I want to see Hamma turn good and go back to the Southern Water Tribes where she could be a part of the restructured home and finally become sane.

I wanna see the North Pole again.

I wanna see what happened to Xin-Fu and Master Yu(?) who went after Toph. Did they ever get out?

I wanna see the reformed Ba Sing Se.

I wanna see Omashu being restored to its former glory.

I want to see more waterbenders and more waterbending techsXD

I WANT TO SEE MYSELF IN THE SHOW!

I wish there would be another episode dedicated to the inner workings of the Spirit World and learning about Iroh's journey there. :3 Or what Sokka did while he was in there back in episode... 7?

I also would love to see Jeong Jeong come back and do some awesome fighting, and show what Chey has been up to.

Teo, Haru, and The Duke adventures through the Western Air Temple plz? I really want to see what the inside of that temple is like, and the giant pai sho table. ^^

More stuff about Lu Ten (Koh theory yes please!), and flashbacks of Kuzon and the past Avatars.

Jun and Combustion Man working together would have been pretty sweet too.

i wish a lot of things would have happened...
first off.... i wish that the series finale wasn't going to be so soon..
on saturday it's over...... NO new episodes.....
i just can't imagine NO new episodes of avatar.... i'm gonna go mad!!!
i also wish i could see the premiere of the series finale...cuz i'm going over to my boyfriends house on the 19th (it's our anniversary) and i won't be able to see it. unless he wants to watch it w/ me that is...
but of course, i will have my mom taping it for me until i get home so that's cool. ;D

ok... back to the subject..

a jet vs. sokka fight.
a more in depth story of aang's past (before the iceberg incident)
an episodes of katara & sokka's mother dying (although we may see that...)
more KOH!!! (seeing as he said "we'll meet again" in SotN part 2)
some more mai/zuko flashbacks to when they were kids...

that's just a few i wish would have happened....
but hey... mike and bryan are only 2 people....they can't fit all of that and more into 4-6 more episodes!!

Hmm, these probably won't happen, and they're somewhat irrevelant to the storyline so they wouldn't really serve a purpose. But first and foremost, I wish that Avatar had a lot more episodes and a lot less waiting for them. Even though I'm so excited to see the finale, I know that it marks the end of a brilliant show.

I'd have liked to see:

- More flashbacks involving Zuko, Mai, Ty Lee, and Azula as kids. Oh, gosh, they were so cute back then. And because I wanted to see exactly how many times Azula and Ty Lee tried (and failed) to get Zuko and Mai together back then.

- More moments with the Gaang being themselves. "The Runaway" was one of my favorites because all of them were just hanging out and being their awesome, comedic selves. It would've been nice to see how they became such a closely-knitted group.

- More backstory to the Avatar line. Well, not necessarily information on more Avatars, just learning more about the ones we do know about. Like Kyoshi and Kuruk and Yangchen, how they mastered the Avatar state, etc. Like I said, it might be irrevelant... but it'd be interesting.

- I want to see Mai and Ty Lee vs. Azula in a real fight. Not just an attack or two, but one that shows the full extent of their power (although if Azula showed the full extent of her power, that means Mai and Ty Lee would've been dead). It makes you wonder if they really did stand a chance against her in the first place, and if they did, that just makes them even more awesome than they are now.

- Um... more Spirit World stuff.

There's so much more, but I can't really think of them all at this moment.

I wanted to learn Combustion man's real name, for one. I want to see Toph get some payback on Zuko and (pushing it a little here) see them have a little more interaction since Toph was the first one to trust Zuko, but I somehow doubt we're going to see that...and that stinks, especially since Toph said she was going to get him back, and I really would like to see exactly what torture she would inflict on him.

Most of the things I regret have to do with pairings, the way Maiko happened (I think I would have not hated it if they had come together on screen instead of in a comic book), the fact that there wasn't a FireWater or FireEarth pairing (not even necessarily Zutara). I don't know, it just seems like enemies falling in love would not only be a good storyline but the ultimate sign of goodwill in putting the world back together after the war. I think a legend like the one in CoTL might have even been a good idea since it wouldn't take away from the main romances in the show, but alas, it wasn't meant to be. There is one serious matter, pairings aside, that really bugged me.

The MAIN thing that actually ticks me off is that Iroh's past was barely explored at all. All we know is that his son died and he went on a journey to the Spirit World. Honestly, that's pretty important stuff! How can they not go into that?! If they have a spinoff movie then I'll be able to forgive them (probably even be happier), but if they don't then I'll be seriously irritated. That's a major plothole. With Iroh's popularity, they have an episode focused completely on Appa and they can't have a flashback episode for him?! That's ridiculous.

There are other things that I wish would have happened, but the Iroh thing is the main one. Most of the things I wished would happen/would have happened don't really bother me and are more of a slight regret, but the Iroh thing does.

This show has a great story with great plot progession, but the character managment is awful.

I would have liked for more character development. Certain characters with very good back stories went to waist.

* I wanted more of Iroh backstroy in the 3rd Season, instead of Mai-EMO-fest
* I want Mai to get a new hair due if she were to be with Zuko (dude I never said I didn't support Maiko, any woman who bust her chops for her man, gets an okay in my book)
* I want a OZAI vs. IROH showdown, shirts off, sweaty, nasty!! Look girls where you might find this sexy, I find it manly!! lol
* I want to know more about LUTEN
* I want Iroh to found a nice woman in his life and have another kid. A man with much greatness must not have his bloodline end there.

I wish Zuko would have dumped Mai and gotten together with Toph!

Or even if not Toph, someone other than Mai! Zuko was on the bad side when he got together with Mai, so she kind of represents love on the bad side. If he became a different person, he should have had a different love interest...but you know, whatever...
