I'm not into slash pairings, but once I saw the ending of The Blue Spirit, I started liking Aang/Zuko. I mean Aang does wanna be ( or atleast tried to be) friends with Zuko, I could see a friendship happening with them, but them being in a relationship is stuck in my head, and it seems like an interesting relationship.

After I watched "The Blue Spirit" I wondered why the ships wars were not Zuko/Aang vs. Katara/Aang. And yes, BUMP. As for Zuaang. Dude, why can there be a fic with Zuko the Uke. I don't know. It does confuse me how much Zuko is written has the seme because he's so asexual (for right now at least). Also for Zuko/Aang, I think Aang would make the first move because he is the who asked "do you think we could have been friends?" and has had experience with romance (okay not that much but still).

Can us femmeslashers reside here? We (or atleast I) don't have anywhere to go. D: If I had to choose a boy!slash pairing it'd be Chong/Sokka. I don't know, just something about it that really .... clicks. But seriously. We need a "Maity Martini Room" or something because their love is practically canon anyays. Chong/Sokka is my OTP! No, I kid, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't jump on that one when I saw COTL. Male slash pairings I like: Zuko/Aang and Sokka/Aang are both pairings I like - about equally too. It just depends on what I'm in the mood for. I just don't have any interest in Zuko/Sokka, possibly because I find Aang the most interesting character to explore anyway. Female slash pairings: Whoo, femmeslash. I don't like Katara in any slash pairings, oddly. I do like Azula, Mai and Tai Lee in any combination and I think I'd really like to see something with Yue and maybe Suki.

That includes the only doujinshi I've found (which has Aang topping). I'd like to see it the other way around too.

I dont mind slash at all, in fact i think zuko/aang is kinda cute. For me it depends a lot on the writer - I'm not usually one for adult fics or OOC fics, but if someone can get around that, I'm all for it. I can see the potential there - albeit in a rather onesided manner currently. Also, there is the age discrepancy, but that won't be a big issue if the story is set four years later or so.

I think someone wrote one with Aang, Zuko, and Zhao where Aang was captured and basically turned into a plaything for both Zhao and Zuko. Naturally the Zhao portions were abusive, but the Zuko portion was passionate and sort of loving. Zuko/Aang is kind of cute. Aang's cute and sweet and it sort of balances against Zuko fiery and more abrasive personality.

It was very good - AU of course, but it was written before the Seige of the North. I really liked that it also had Aang being very dedicated to Katara - the end of the last chapter she posted was sweet and sad at the same time. She also made Aang 15 - setting it three years after the first episode. The scenes were well handled and not lewd or overly graphic as well. Overall a very good example of how a Zuko/Aang fic can be done right. Edit: And that review proves that I'm just one of those people who analyzes fanfiction too much.

Well, it actually was pretty graphic. The Zhao parts made me squirm a bit.

Well, it actually was pretty graphic. The Zhao parts made me squirm a bit. *nod* What I meant is that they didn't use a lot of cheap words - a lot of times people drop all sorts of inappropriate wording in their fics to make it more "adult" and it doesn't need to resort to those. Lewd words for certain parts of the body are a good example. And yeah... I thought the Zuko part (chapter 2, I think) was rather cute, especially how possessive and defensive he becomes of Aang.
