Words do work better, as long as they are not harsh words, because speaking harsh words will get you nowhere.

@funk: Lol, not even an Arrancar can ever hope to defeat my dearest Solva XD ^_^ Mwahahahaha. Thanks dearest, you know moi well. Yeah, I think that problems should try to be resolved primarily through talking, fighting doesn't do much of anything.

I think talking through things calmly will accomplish much more than a shouting match or taking fists to people's faces.

It's really easy to say that, but when it comes down to it, it's extremely hard to control your emotions when you're actually honest-to-pie worked up about something.

@onegai! : If you say so, I honestly have never had to resort to violence to solve my problems. I may have gotten worked up, but I've never hit or punched someone during a confrontation.

I've never hit anybody either, but I've yelled... Twice, I think. And trust me when I say I was absolutely justified in being ticked off as hell in that particular moment. Yeah I'm a girl. XD LOL Fangirling is much more fun than Spiderman. I don't like violence. I'm always scared someone will get hurt emotionally or physically. I like Aang's mindset most of the time. Any lefties here? ^_^

MEEE. haha, I'm a leftie Usually when people say actions speak more then words, aren't they referring to doing something instead of saying something? like saying more people should volunteer to clean beaches vs. actually volunteering to clean a beach? just saying

Any lefties here? ^_^ I'm a leftie! ^__^ wewillruletheworldsomedayI don't like violence, especially since it really doesn't solve anything. The only thing you get out of it is a juvie record or a suspension from school.

Violence is never a good thing, it only leads to more violence. Harsh words also never do any good.
I've learned this the hard way, I've let my harsh words effect people that I loved, people who in the end didn't love me enough to stay. In seventh grade my best friend introduced me to a new girl, and we quickly hit it off, and became very close. Well, we agreed that my best friend was quite annoying, and was "holding us back". So I wrote her a note telling her I no longer wanted to be her best friend, we'd been bffs since kindergarten, and she cried, I have never felt so awful in my life. My harsh words had hurt the one person who had always been there for me, I apologized but we were never close again.
