The Guru/CoD are the ones I picked. I would love to see that huge battle in CGI. (even though it's probably gonna suck XD)

I actually put together an outline of what I thought Book 1 was going to be like a few weeks ago. I guess I'll share it...
Book/Movie 1:
The movie starts with the sound of ocean waves and a dark screen, which quickly fades into a shot of a beach, where two young boys are Earthbending/playing. We can see Sozin's comet in the sky, but the boys don't pay attention to it. Suddenly, they see hundreds of fireballs rise from the horizon and quickly impacts the shore, creating huge explosions that starts burning all of the surrounding forests and lands. The two boys then quickly runs back to their village while the Fire Nation soldiers, on their ships, release MASSIVE fireblasts (powered by the comet) that envelop the entire coast line, and causes a firestorm that basically destroys the boys' village.
Then we dissolve to the aftermath; the village is in cinders, and the fire nation navy begins their incursion into Earth kingdom territory.
Cue title sequence, perhaps with Katara narrating or something.
The events of "The Boy in the Iceberg" and "The Avatar Returns"; the booby trap and the leaving of Aang can be cut, and Zuko could just hone in on the big light produced when Aang got out of the iceberg. Zuko arrives at the village, threatens people, Aang basically sacrifices himself to save the village. He then leaves with Zuko, with Katara+Sokka rescuing him later on, like in the episode. They head for the Southern Air Temple
Zuko's ship head for Zhao's base while Zuko angsts about this whole thing and acts like a jerk to everyone. This prompts the crew to ask Iroh about Zuko's past. Insert "The Storm" flashbacks here.
At the same time, Aang remembers (again, in flashbacks) his time at the Southern Airtemple as they head for it. Maybe in a dream or something, or as talking with Katara and Sokka. I suppose he'll tell them about how he ran away. Also, fit in a dream or two about Sozin's Comet, just for kicks.
Zuko and Iroh arrives at Zhao's base. "The Southern Air Temple" plot can be pretty much copied here, but the Agni Kai can be cut or perhaps barely avoided as Zuko and Zhao tick each other off or something. Zhao figures out Zuko's seen the Avatar and devices a plan to capture him for himself.
Aang at the Southern Air Temple, same stuff. EXCEPT, when he goes Avatar state at the end of the episode, he will see Roku, much like in "The Avatar State". Roku tells him everything he told him in "Avatar Roku" (the comet having been dreamed about earlier); there, two more episodes (The Winter Solstice 2-parter) can be cut. Roku will ALSO tell him about the dangers of the Avatar State, and thus allowing us to cut the Gaang's story in "The Avatar State" for Book 2. Awesome.
Aang frets about learning waterbending, and thus decides to hurry it up to the Northern Water Tribe. Here we can basically have a montage of scenes as the Gaang speeds north with Zuko on their tails. Also insert scenes of Katara and Aang trying to learn Waterbending and the appropriate amounts of Kataang.
We now make the big jump to the events of "The Waterbending Master". Yep, you heard me. We'll basically dissolve from the montage to Zhao's map as he says that the Gaang is heading for the NWT, and that he needs to muster a fleet to take it out. He also realizes that Zuko is probably going to get there before him, so he needs to take care of him as well. I guess Zhao is a little more evil in this film; he doesn't need the excuse of the Blue Spirit being Zuko being a traitor to eliminate our fair prince.
The Gaang arrives at the NWT, and everything shown in the episodes can be shown here, basically. Zuko stops off at Zhao's new base up north, and, instead of pirates, Zhao can use some of his own men to blow up his ship after taking his crew for his expedition. Iroh suspects Zhao and stows the injured Zuko aboard.
Everything from here on out can just follow the last 3 episodes. Although, Hei Bei needs to be cut/introduced in the Spirit World. Zuko will have his rant about his family, with emphasize on his sister, for sure. Also, Katara's healing abilities will be introduced here. With any luck, the arrival of the Gaang at the NWT will happen at the half-way-point of the film.
---
Of course, this no longer works out since I was working under the impression that 1). the film was 3 hours long and 2). Teo isn't important later, which the Comic Con trailer showed that he is.
The one thing I learned though, through this exercise, is how hard it's going to be to cut down the show to movie-length. I mean, I am keeping the bare bones here. Any more cutting and the plot won't make sense!
I also have a treatment for Book 2 (which I had to split into 2 "volumes" like Kill Bill), if anybody wants to read it, then I'll post it.

Here's my outline
Show starts from an introduction from Roku, explaining the four elements, the Avatar, and the war (kind of like Katara in the begining of the show but a tad bit more flesh out).
Then we cut to the water tribe where Sokka and Katara are fishing and Katara much like the first scene. They awakin the Avatar and the beam of light catches Zuko's attention. Aang is brought back into the Water Tribe, Zuko arrives. Aang surrenders to spare the Water Tribe village. Sokkan and Katara save Aang damage Zuko ship and set out.
Zuko heads to the Fire Nation Harbor to get his ship repared where he meets Zhao. Zhao discovers that Avatar return and Zuko challenges him to an Agni Kai. We get a glipse into Zuko's past before the Agni Kai by Iroh. Later after his defeat Zhao sabatouges the ship to explode to an "accident" and leads an assault to the Northern Water Tribe cause he knows that's where the Avatar is heading with an army. Iroh joins him as his new General.
Aang goes to the Air Temple. Runs across Roku's statue and Roku spirit vists him and explains about Sozen's Comet. The GAang head to the Northern Water Tribe where Aang gets his waterbending training.
Zhao arrives Northern Water Tribe battle ensues, everything pretty much happesn like in the season 1 finale. The story ends with Zuko being wanted from the Fire Nation and Azula hot on their tail.

Nice! I like it. Very compact and to the point.
Well, since we're all doing it, I've made a (very NOT compact) outline for Book 2 (following my outline for Book 1), which I ended up splitting into 2 volumes due to necessity:
Book/Movie 2, Volume 1:
No clip before main title; there's no need, really. So, after the title sequence, we'll let Aang dream, just like in the show, except this time he'll need to remember some of the words about the Avatar State from Roku back in film 1, as that's pretty important. Aang and Katara will have their talk, except it'll be about Aang's fears of getting killed in the Avatar State. They'll still be on a ship, ready for Aang to learn to Earthbend. Before they leave the ship, however, Pakku will lecture Aang about Neutral Jin. How does he know? Well, he had an Earthbender friend in the past, or something. Either way, this allows Bumi to be cut. Onward to the Earth Kingdom!
We find Zuko and Iroh in an Earth Kingdom Spa, like in "The Avatar State". While Iroh's getting pampered, however, Zuko will wander off and find a wanted poster for him and Iroh! He confronts Iroh with it, but at the same time, Fire Nation guards swarm the place and capture them (using paralyser darts; the soldiers won't survive a direct assault on Iroh). They then take the duo to Azula's ship. No fake "father wants you back" stuff here. Not enough time.
Meanwhile, the Gaang stops off at Kyoshi island...or, as they will call it in the film, Kyoshi village. It makes things easier by not having them being isolationists. Anyway, Sokka meets Suki, who comforts him about Yue and trains him a bit, while Aang gets bigheaded from hero worship, which pisses off Katara. Same old, same old. This will hopefully serve as a comedic intro into the film before we get to the heavier stuff. Eventually, Suki informs them of a mysterious, blind Earthbender in a town called "Gaoling" nearby, and they bid farewell to find this person. Suki and the Kyoshi warriors get antsy, and they go off to help fight the war.
At the same time, Azula interrogates Zuko as they prepare to leave, and, say, taunts him about the Avatar. She...uh...let's see...berates him about his failure and boasts that she'll capture him, no problem. At this moment, Iroh, using his awesomeness, breaks in and frees both of them and they run for it, but not before seeing some lightening bending from Azula. She realizes that she could please daddy best if she captured the Avatar instead, and it's also a way to torment ZuZu.
Zuko and Iroh have a talk about Ozai's issues with Zuko, basically getting him really confused and even more troubled. Iroh decides that they should now hide out in the Earth Kingdom as peasants, as there is no other way. Zuko is conflicted. We can insert some flashbacks from “Zuko Alone” here, probably the first part with Ursa and the Mai memory.
The Gaang arrives at Gaoling; at the same time, Sokka's worried about how they'll get to the Fire Nation and proceeds to go to a map shop, or something. There, they meet Professor Zei who tells them about The Spirit Library. Taking him with them, the Gaang then finds Toph at Earth Rumble 6. Instead of having to find her after the fight, however, they corner her right outside the "stadium" and tells her everything. She hesitates before telling them her side of the story, about her family and all that stuff. The Gaang decides to go to the Bei Fong's estate to convince them themselves.
After a few days of being a peasant, and a particularly big fight, or something, Zuko leaves Iroh behind while the latter is asleep. He says that he "needs to find his own way" to an unconscious Iroh, who is actually quite wide-awake. Oooo...drama.
Azula then meets up with Mai and Ty Lee, who are conveniently at the same place. She tells them everything, they agree to go. Mai smiles after Zuko is mentioned. Simple.
The end of "The Blind Bandit" plays here, with the parents saying no and Toph running off anyway, basically. Xin Fu and Master Yu will have to be cut, to be replaced by two random henchmen of the Bei Fong family.
Apparently, it'll take a few days to get to the library, so in the meantime, let's have a montage of Aang learning to Earthbend!
Zuko's alone, but he now begins having flashbacks of Iroh and Lu Ten, as well as the meeting with Azulon. At the same time, Iroh is following from afar.
The events of “The Chase” happens here, albeit shortened significantly and with Professor Zei in tow.
Right away, we cut to the Gaang as they head into the desert, perhaps Professor Zei can now tell them of sandbenders (i.e. one of the Gaang says “are there anybody living out here” or something similar). They find the library.
Meanwhile, Iroh wakes up and decides they must head for Ba Sing Se to avoid Azula, they move on. The lightening stuff will have to wait.
The Gaang minus Appa and Toph enters the library and head straight for the Fire Nation section. Professor Zei tells them about the knowledge spirit, and how he’s read that it didn’t like humans or something. Meanwhile, Wan Shi Tong watches them from afar. They find the calendar, finds out about the eclipse, WST comes along and starts sinking the library. Outside, the sandbenders come and takes Appa, same old, same old. The entire episode pretty much happens. Cliffhanger!!
Book/Movie 2, Volume 2:
We open on the Gaang marching through the desert; no cactus juice Sokka here, sorry.
Zuko and Iroh camping out, basically, and Zuko has another brief flashback/dream (the “Azula always lies” part, I guess), as well as Azula’s lightening bending. Zuko persuades Iroh to teach him what he tried to learn in “Bitter Work”.
Continuing with the desert. Aang’s Aangsting and so forth. Same stuff as in the episode. Eventually, they find the sandbender’s boat and starts sailing, but then are quickly surrounded by sand benders. The confrontation at the end of “The Desert” basically happens here, with Aang glowing it up, and then fainting in Katara’s arms.
The serpent’s pass does not exist. It’ll just be a small, flat isthmus (look it up). Thus, Zuko and Iroh could easily walk across it, and they do. At this point in the movie, they arrive at Ba Sing Se, where huge lines of refugees are filing through the giant gate in the wall. Jet can be introduced here, who notices their rather obvious golden eyes. I mean, come on…er…nevermind. Actually, it doesn’t even have to be Jet, since he’ll only be needed once later. Sorry, but “The Serpent’s Pass” and “The Drill” will have to be cut. Also, forget about the need for passports.
Aang dreams about Appa (still fainted) while the sand benders are taking the Gaang out of the desert. We get that flashback back to the Eastern Air Temple where Aang chose Appa. Meanwhile, the sand benders tells the Gaang what happened to Appa (same as in the show), and then we just cut to Appa…
…here we see him struggling with the merchants, much like in “Appa’s Lost Days”, and then quickly escaping. No snoozle or circus time. Unfortunately, he can't seem to find Aang, so starts flying around randomly.
Iroh and Zuko get an apartment, and Zuko complains about living there; similar to the convo between the two that happened on the streets of BSS when Iroh was carrying the flower vase. Iroh also mentions a teashop he saw where they can apply for a job. Meanwhile, Jet’s outside, stalking them.
A short scene where the sand benders drop off the Gaang and tell them how to reach BSS. Aang’s angstyness during “The Serpent’s Pass” can be addressed here. No Earth Kingdom couple or baby Hope. Sorry.
Back to Appa, where he encounters the Kyoshi warriors. This scene pretty much happens like in “Appa’s Lost Days”, since it’s pretty short, especially since in the movie he didn’t become that untrusting of people. Then, of course, Ozai’s Angels attack. As Appa escapes, however, he starts thinking of where to go, and soon we get flashes of the Eastern Air Temple. This is one way to bridge scenes.
Iroh and Zuko start their jobs, Jet’s still stalking them. Another short scene, just showing the passage of events.
The Gaang arrives at BSS. This part gets a little tricky; we’ll basically need Aang to go up to the gatekeepers or something and demand to see the Earth King. Aang can then demonstrate that he is indeed the Avatar, which enables them to get the royal treatment they deserve. The Dai Li is introduced here, as well, just like in the show.
The Gaang gets to their house and begins making plans on putting up flyers. We’ll have to skip most of “City of Walls and Secrets” here, I’m afraid.
Appa arrives at the Eastern Air Temple, meets the Guru, and this scene plays as in the episode. The Guru finds Aang through their bond and Appa flies into BSS, and is captured by Long Feng, who just seems like a thief at this point to those who haven't seen the series.
Iroh and Zuko’s teashop is going great! Until Jet comes bursting in. Insert the Jet vs. Zuko fight here and the following arrest. We then see Jet getting brainwashed, with Long Feng watching. Basically, LF is getting a very gradual build-up to villainhood.
The Gaang puts up fliers. However, they also spy some Dai Li agents taking them down, so they decide to just go see the Earth King regardless. When they get to the palace entrance, however, Long Feng greets them and takes them to a backroom where he explains everything and cautions them about their behavior. Basically, the end of “City of Walls and Secrets”.
Zuko finds a flier and goes to Aang’s home, after much hesitation from Iroh’s past teachings.
The Gaang returns home and sees Jet by their house, who tells them in very uncertain terms that he might have seen Appa. The Gaang takes him in (having not met him previously) and Katara attempts to “heal” his memory loss. Jet talks of a lake near the city’s walls, which Sokka finds on a map as Lake Laogai. At this very moment, however, we see Zuko outside the house, spying on them. He realizes that he can’t take them all and decides to head for Lake Laogai on his own. The Gaang decide to go check it out the lake.
Zuko arrives at their apartment and starts packing a few things. He also decides to pick out a mask as to not reveal his identity. Blue Spirit homage here, even if it can’t be included fully in the movies.
The Gaang arrives at Lake Laogai, and basically the episode happens as is, with minor tweaks to make it fit the film. Jet gets killed but beckons them to move on before more Dai Li agents get them. Like I said, this is probably why it should be a whole new character instead of Jet.
Now, when they get Appa back, they will need to quickly fly away to avoid the Dai Li so they do that. Meanwhile, Zuko and Iroh gets out of the Dai Li HQ and heads home.
The Gaang discuss their options and decide to invade the Earth King’s Palace, much like in “The Earth King”. Meanwhile, Zuko and Iroh have a looooong talk about his issues (instead of getting sick, as that takes up too much time) before going to bed, still conflicted. He then dreams that weird dream he had while he had the fever involving the dragons and Ursa.
Arriving at the throne room, the Gaang tries to convince the Earth King of their story. Things play out pretty normally here, except that, as “The Drill” never happened, the thing that will convince the King of the war will be…uh…let’s see…maybe, him talking to the citizens perhaps; getting outside the palace and talking to the peasants. Yeah, that’d do. The rest of the episode happens as is, basically, except for the fact that as Xin Fu and Master Yu was cut, the Bei Fong henchmen will capture Toph and explain to her that her parents want her back, much to her annoyance.
The Guru and The Crossroads of Destiny can then happen pretty much unaltered, or perhaps trimmed a little here and there. There are a few things suggested to me that they could add to spice it up a little, such as inserting Zuko's final flashback with Ursa's "never forget who you are" into the "choose" scene in the CoD part of the film. Oh, and of course, as The Deserter was cut in my Book 1 movie, the fire bending mishaps included in one of the chakra openings in “The Guru” would have to be something else, such as Aang thinking about how evil the Fire Nation dudes are and that he’ll have to become one of them in the near future.

I condensed my outline of the first movie, I think it actually turned out better.
Movie 1: Water
1.Katara and Sokka discover Aang in the iceberg, it's closer to the village and when Zuko sees the light, he also spots the villages and heads for it. Aang goes with him so they'll leave it alone. After a rescue from Katara and Sokka, he reveals he's the Avatar, and Katara convinces him to start learning waterbending.
2.A spy on Zuko's trip tells Zhao about the Avatar, and Zhao starts the hunt.
3. Aang decides to help a group of people in the wilderness. Suki, Jet, and Teo and his father. A relation between Sokka and Suki blossom a little, but not fully and also between Jet and Katara, making Aang feel a little jealous. Suki is just doing some training away from Kyoshi, and this is what makes Sokka interested in her, her warrior side, Jet is really just pretending to be a refugee, and Teo and his father are looking for a new home.
4.Aang keeps having nightmares about a comet, and a vision about a crescent shaped Island, and an old man, he knows the old man is Roku and tells the others about his dream. Suki tells him that Roku's temple is on the crescent island, he decides he's got to go there, the others decide to help.
5. We pretty much have the battle fleet attacking Appa and also Teo up there, with Jet and Suki rowing a small boat to the island. Zhao follows them to the island.
6. When they get there, they are attacked by the fire sages and Jet disappears. One fire sage helps them and they get Aang inside the temple room.
7. Zhao shows up and orders his men to attack when Aang comes out. Roku tells Aang about the comet and everything, No Avatar state, just a battle with Aang and Zhao, Katara finds Jet setting bombs and learns that he's trying to kill anyone from the firenation and its the bomb that causes the volcano to awakan, Appa comes to save the gaang with Teo and Suki.
8.When they get back to land, Suki decides to go back to Kyoshi Island, Sokka is disappointed to see her go. Aang tells Teo and his father about the northen airtemple and that they could live there.
9.They reach the northpole, this is pretty much like the episode, with one minor difference. Zuko isn't "tried to kill" He gets there on his own.
10. Azula shows up towards the end of the battle and attacks Zuko with Zhao, after Zhao is taken down by the ocean spirit, she is taken down by Iroh. But she escapes, and they know they now have to go into hiding. It ends with Pakku sending the gaang off so they can search for an earthbending teacher.
The Changes... Aang pretty much excepts that its been a 100 years and he's the last airbender, so no southern air temple. Not much Iroh and Zuko, they'll be featured mored in movie 2. No avatar state scene till the final battle. Azula being introduced at the end.
What do you think?

I don't get it. I know that the movie is based on season one. I don't understand the episode that will be in it. Do you mean that they will put soem of the episodes together in the movie?

Wasn't the live action movie going to be based on an entire season, not on one specific episode?

Yes. But I made this poll before that was confirmed, and this is mostly to see what people are most excited to see in live action.

...live action Aang will be wierd to see. I guess they won't cover episodes so much as plot points.
