Well, so lemme tell a story too.
It was 3 or 4 years ago, back then while I was still playing UO (abbrevation for Ultima Online).
It was this server, I was tamer, and looking for animals to tame, when I was in the middle of the wilderness (in the game) I heard this weird, disembodied voice, first I was afraid. I asked admins about it and they told me there is no such thing in the game.
That day, I stopped playing Ultima Online.

once when i was like 4 years old i was in bed and i had trouble falling asleep. my bed was accross from the window. the window was closed and the curtains were shut. there were these were ghostly figures coming through the window. they looked like people. it was weird. funny how i still remember that after around a decade.

Bleda: That's freakin creep! Well, I have several things that have happened to me. Once when I was younger, maybe about 8 or 9, I saw this white person staring at me through the living room window. It happened in the early morning while I was waiting for my mom to get ready so she could take me to summer daycare. Then when we left the house I saw it under our RV. We moved to a new house not far away several years ago. This happened Mother's Day a couple years back. My brother & I were up late working on a gift for our mom. When we heard something coming up the stairs, it sounded like a man with boots on running up them really fast. We just kind of sat there frozen for a couple of seconds, and then my brother said,"Cara, go see what that was." So I got up, and went to look out the door. Nothing was there, but our bathroom door, and window were open, and I was sure they'd been closed before. Every year, as I've mentioned before, my brother, grandparents, and I go to St. Augustine to visit family down there. Well, St. Augustine has it's fair share of ghost being the oldest city in the United States. Well, my Aunt works at one of the restaurants that has one of the most talked about ghost in town, and so we eat there every year. Most of the experiences, and hauntings take place on the third floor, which is also were the bathrooms are, and it's deserted during the afternoon, so it's creepy anyways. The story is that most of the activity is in & around the Ladies' restroom. My cousin & I had to use the bathroom, so we went up there, and it feels weird right when you walk in, we felt like we were being watched. My cousins went into one stall, and all of sudden the toilet in the empty stall next to her started flushing! We got so scared we ran all the way back to the table! Then this one time I was in my basement watching one of those Haunted Travels shows, and I shut the door to my dad's room, which is really an old storage room, because it freaks me out. Well, I got up to go back up stairs, and glanced over, and the door was open & the light was on! We have woods behind our house, and my mom was home from work the summer of 2003, and my brother, neighbor, and I would always play back there. Well, one day we were further back in the woods than usual, and I saw this girl looking at me from behind a tree. I looked away & looked back, and she was gone. I told my brother about it. He swears to have seen a girl fitting the description when he was back there one day shooting his paint-ball gun.

My turn!
Ok, so this really has to do with aliens. When I was younger, I had a real phobia of those alien images, you know, the ones with the large black almond eyes and small nose & mouth. I couldn't watch anything alien-related because i would have nightmares. But these were really scary nightmares. I would feel like the world is shaking, then that image of the alien would get closer, and closer. I'd call out to my mom, but I couldn't move. I seriously wanted to break free, but I could not. I later find out I suffered sleep paralysis during these instances.
Then, a couple of years ago, I think it was memorial day weekend, and my dad sees something in the sky, and he gets the binoculars out and he says he sees something floating in the sky. I check it out on the binoculars, and it WAS something; it was this gray object and it was glowing, kind of pulsating, and flying.
I'll NEVER forget that.

Personally, looking at this, most of it seems to have happened late at night. Whilst awake then, our brain seems to enjoy f---ing with us. kolibri [thread killer]: That just sounds like crack headpot science. Indeed I do agree. For it is just a theory afterall. and most theories about the paranormal are wrong anyways But it is fun scaring people with the thought of parasitic ghosts. Especially when you're in a photography darkroom, although I got yelled at for it...^_^;;

^....That's true. Maybe your speakers are possessed. But it's still as freaky as hell no matter where the hell it came from.

Electronically recorded phenomenon. Happens more than you know.
I believe God's trying to get us all by sicking on us demons and ghosts (haha, jk)
Seriously though, theater kids believe the auditorium's haunted. There's constantly some weird sound no one can explain, usually sounding like people but we'd be the only ones there.

Okay one about my brother. These never include me, Id tell yu mine but you;d be so sick of my like that. (Short one)
So my brother is sitting down at a table with my family and he says, "Look it's Granpa Chris!" nad points to a chair where he always sat. NO one sat in that seat for the rest of the night.
Meh, one more about my uncle, this one involves my grandma. Short one too.
right after my uncle Sonny died my grandma went shopping. One of the things on her list was paper towels. Okay so when you uy paper towels, you don't pay attention to the print, my mom does for mapkis but that's her problem. So she picks up a roll and when she gets home the paper towels have fish on them! The thing is the last time I was with him, I went fishing with him. He loved to fish too. Weird!
One more! Again my uncle passed.
So the last time I went fishing with him it was raining the whole day. Which made for great fishing! But every day we spent in Pueblo because he died it was raining. My aunt and dad always kept saying, he's fishing in heaven with your grandpa.

Well this particular story isn't exactly with ghost stories but... This was a few weeks ago: I was playing a tennis match. Typical day for me, but, when I hit a volley too hard, the ball hit the fence. The odd thing was that the ball went straight through the fence. Like there wasn't any resistance from the fence. The fence surrounding the tennis court that I was playing in is a sort of mesh with holes the size of dimes. Anywayz, the ball landed away from the court into the nearest beach volleyball court. My tennis partner and I were all since we both saw it go straight through the fence and land on the sand. There weren't any gaps underneath the fence so as to give in to the reason that in a microsecond it went under the fence and came back out. Ever since then, I've had to look for another tennis partner since he's too spooked to play in that court.

@ 2X: everyone's school auditorium is haunted in some way shape or form. o.O;
Some poeple think some kid is haunting our gym lobby. We have these gigantic windows that go up to the ceiling and some kid either got pushed, tripped or whatever. Anyways, he went through the window and it cut his jugular (sp?) and he died. Now we have these bars across them. But alot of people say they feel weird if they're walking alone when going through the gym lobby to the bathroom or whatever.
Don't even get me started on Devil's Road near our school...-_-; It's where they filmed The Village. Weird stuff goes down there...that's all I'm going to say right now unless anyone wants to know. It's kinda a long list of weird stuff that goes on over there.

I haven't heard about any ghost, or anything at my school. Although it is creepy to be in there after school hours, but what school isn't? lol.
I went to my mom's old high school one time for my brother's football game, and she was telling my friend about how everyone always used to say this classmate they had that died in a car crash on the way to school haunted it. Really creepy, but nothing ever happened.
There are many hauntings, and ghost here in Tennessee though, this guy wrote two books about them. "Haunted Tennessee" & "More Haunted Tennessee". I own them both, and like to scare the hell out of myself reading them.
Oh, the only one I really believe though is the Bell Witch story.
