LOL how did I know you got Saske?
In my knitting club I got my friends to act out the wedding, no kiss of course it's a bunch of girls. Me as me, my bff as Katara, my friend who like the show but not as much as me as Aang and then it went like I was marring Aang (My friend, no not for real!) And My BFF, as Katara came and crashed the wedding and we had a fake waterbending fight.
Not reall dudes hottie list ______________________ #1-Aang #2-Kish(Kisshu) #3-Pie (I dunno the anime name) #4-Tart (ditto) #5-zuko (by default)

hey guys, I have something ironically amusing to share.
I work twice a week for a psychiatrist, basically I do his paper work, you know, filing claims to the insurance, etc.
well, just a few days ago, we got a remittance notice in the mail from medicare (remittance notice basically means a piece of paper that says how much you told them they have to pay, how much the total comes out to after deductables, and it's supposed to include a check with the amount they're paying you). I had sent in about 7 claim forms, and we were waiting for the check since January (because insurance companies like to screw around with you).
Well, we finally got the remittance notice in the mail, except it was missing one very important factor: No check.
So I called up medicare to find out why we didn't get any money, when everything was in order with the claim forms, and they should have paid up.
Basically, they told me they sent a check for about $1600 to the patient who we were billing for, instead of our office. This patient (who sees the doctor practically every week) just got rich overnight and there's "nothing we can do about it".
...oh the many wonderful ways the government screws up.
it has a happy ending. we contacted the patient and got our money, but still...

^Oh wow. That sucks. Good thing the patient was nice enough to give the money to you, since obviously you were entitled to it. Did they literally say that there "was nothing we can do about it"?

I ALSO worked in a psychiatrist's office, except our drama is moreso with the patients than the insurance companies. Like one time, I kid you not... Two patients, both women, were both mortal enemies, co-workers, and inadvertently saw the SAME psychiatrist. They were always scheduled on different days and so they never saw one another in the same office. Well, Woman A (we'll call her) had been stealing Woman B's medication out of her purse, spread nasty rumors about her at work and got caught a couple of times messing up her desk at their job. On one fateful day Woman A and Woman B were scheduled on the same day back to back. I'm sitting at the front desk and Woman B comes up to me with this look of ultimate, impending doom and says, "Please let me see the doctor now...because I have a razor blade in my purse and I am seriously going to cut that b**ch in that chair over there (pointing to Woman A)." I swear, she had bloody murder in her eyes. So. We took her back into the office, she explained her situation and called the cops to escort her off the premises. Keep in mind, neither women knew they shared the same doctor... I could sit here all night with wacky psyche-office stories. Seriously.

SkyE, yes, they said there was nothing they can do >__< except give me different numbers to call. And the wait time till you get to a representative is HORRIBLE!!!! It's the stuff of nightmares! Today I waited FIFTY-SEVEN MINUTES on the phone, just to talk to someone from BCBS (Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield) only to have them tell me that I need to call a different number! >__<++++
Rachel, Omg, are you serious?! That's so awesome!!!
ROFL! Wow, do those two women know now? XD
My co-worker used to work for a large medical office in NY, she always tells me these horror stories about paitents that happened in the office.
Like one time, this woman came in with her husband for a colonoscopy, and the docotor who was supposed to perform it was called away on emergency. The staff tried contacting her 3 times to tell her not to come because the doctor wasn't in, but they couldn't get through.
Anyway, so the woman came in with her husband, (and mind you, it was her HUSBAND who was the paitient), and when the staff informed her that they had to cancel her appointment and they tried contacting her, etc. she literally BLEW UP! -- No joke!
She was ranting, and raving, and yelling all about how irresponsible the office is, and how they drove in an 1 1/2 just to get here, etc. while her husband was just sitting there, doing nothing.
So the administrator came out of her office because she heard everything that was going on and tried to explain to the woman that she needs to calm down, and there was nothing they could do, and they'll be more than happy to reschedule the appointment for her husband.
So the woman points her finger at her and says "Shut the [censored] up!"
needless to say, that woman got thrown out of the office.
Her poor husband. I wonder how he puts up with her.
