I love that in the couple of episode..were seeing a blending and bounding of Zuko and Crew. First it was aang and the next one is sokka(don't know if the gang is all joinning on this task).
I actually want to see how gang react when aang and zuko had to travel...specailly from the stern warning that katara give zuko.
as for the episode. It was a nice bonding that fit the scene with both Zuko and aang as they went to discover themselves as well as there solution to the problem. I see the same step being in play for both sokka and katara. So in total, I found it cute and fun and infomative but I think it could have better then how it was design.

Now that Zuko (like the Boulder) is over his confliction, Id like to see him bend some lightning. Preferably up Azula's butt.

I'm actually kind of upset that Toph and Zuko don't have their own bonding episode like the original gaang, she much part of the gaang as any one of them. And I think her interaction with Zuko would be something quite memorable, with talks about Iroh, Jin vs. Mai, I think I'd be funny.

Since I only had time to watch TWA and TBR on the Book 3 Volume 3 DVD (it was a two day rental -.-), it was nice to finally see this one TV!
Of the post-DoBS episodes, I think this one is my favorite, but I am sure that will change on Thursday . . .
Anyways, back to this episode. I'll start off by saying how amazingly awesome Toph's flashback was, she was so adorable, and it was great to actually see a badger mole simply living instead of fighting or cleaning up damaged arenas.
As for main part of the episode, I loved the Zuko/Aang bonding (although I'm still waiting for Zuko to call Aang by his name . . .) especially the small fight over the fireball.
Speaking of such eternal fire, wouldn't a giant fire that has been lit for millennia be a pretty good indicator that someone lived there?

Awww geeez I adored Toph's flashback. That was so freaking adorable. ^_^
This episode was wonderful, Zuko and Aang are so cute together *closet Zaang fan* and Iroh has just become even more incredible, and I didn't think that was possible. :3

^ Yes, Toph looks really cute in that flashback. Even the badgermoles seemed more appa-ish.

Yes, Toph was adorable. ^.^ It was nice to see how close she and the badger mole were. It's cool that they understood each other. I wonder how long she was in the cave? Did she go home, then come back for more lessons or what?
The thing I like about this episode, besides the Toph flashback, is the bonding between Aang and Zuko. They're hilarious together. I mean:
"Zuko, I think the past is trying to kill me!"
"You just had to touch the golden egg, didn't you?"
It's so funny. And Zuko makes the funniest faces. Especially when Aang was trying to grab some of his fire. I'm glad that they're finally friends, after all that's happened between them. Like MasterEcabob, I'm still waiting for Zuko to call Aang by name. All he's ever called him was 'Avatar'. Haha.

I liked this episode. The colored fire scene was beautiful.
And the ripping on Zuko that followed was a good way to end the episode. How he denied that their move wasn't a dance and then admitted it was called "The Dancing Dragon". For some reason I just love seeing Team Avatar tease Zuko. It's like he's getting his bad karma returned to him in small, gentle doses. But also in a way it incorporates punishment with forgiveness.

Yay! Finally able to see it (I have work late-ish and so I have to watch the eps after I get home from when they record on my comp, at least for today and tomorrow) Aw... one of my favorite moments was when Aang told Zuko "I don't care what the others say, I think you're a pretty smart guy!" And then Zuko reassures Aang later when he's afraid to keep his flame from being too large, "I know you can do it. You're a pretty talented kid." Hehe, like the rest of everyone's been saying, they can definitely be good friends, just like Aang sort of implied at the end of The Blue Spirit. ^^ The Toph flashback was awesome. The last look on Toph's face during the flashback made me smile And Iroh's title Dragon of the West takes on yet another layer of meaning. Hmm... Katara doesn't go easy on the grudges, does she? So excited for The Boiling Rock tomorrow!! (haven't seen it yet, I've been staying with the US air dates)

nice to know I'm not the only virgin(and by that I mean those who follow the rules and not try to see those already episode in the internet)...FNK Hi
Well nether dose sokka but he more open then katara. Most people shouldn't be shock about katara attitude toward Zuko. Heck what did surprise me that the most open member of the group is Toph and heck she was the most forgiven out of the bunch even with that burn she recieve from Zuko...I mean sure she want "payback" but it not toph came in and gave zuko an ultimatum.
It seem we been hearing alot about Iroh and I kinda find it funny because in this episode Iroh was sort on "never-ending journey" for his question be called dragon...and then seeing yesturday episode with Zuko flashback and how iroh was talking zuko out of a neverending journey for a questionable title.

^Oh yeah. I'm true to the original airdate too.
I laugh at all of the people who found out how the series ended three months too early.
They're all p!ssed, but, they brought this early torture on themselves early.
And I'll be d@mned if they ruin it for everyone.
Anyway, with some more on this episode, I, kinda have hope that some certain people, who are deemed extinct, may be alive, somewhere, since everyone thought that the dragons were extinct for a century and that the Sun Warriors were extinct for THOUSANDS of years.
It'll make you think more.

^Oh yes. Forgot about the DVD released versions. My bullheaded friend actually tried to spoil me, saying that he could tell me fair and square since it was technically released in the U.S. already. I popped him upside his head before he said anything. (Not ALL of us have available money to buy the single DVDs, especially if one only buy's the boxsets.)

This was a good one. The Sun Warriors reminded me of the Mayans too. And Iroh's Not-Dragon Killer status probably explains his calm peace-loving nature now with much power to boot. But where did Iroh go?

My favorite episode by far. Im a huge firebending fan, and im glad Zuko finally got the chance to know what Firebending truly means. And now, Aang can firebend, but he knows how to do it correctly, by harnessing the fire from the origional source, the sun. And Iroh is truly a good person, because he lied to his own people ( The Fire Nation ) just to keep the dragon population alive.
