@nymph, they're 9 and 11. They know he's like one of my best friends on here, plus they are quite used to me being weird, hehehe, hubby even knows about him We are far from being your normal everyday family, we're all a bunch of weirdos Okie dokie Nymph, you've just been added as one of my adopted daughters! Hmm, I just realized that all my adopted kids on here are all girls. Maybe I'm too odd for the boys. LOL

One thing I've been wondering from a parents prospective.
Do parents look at the site before making a judgment?
I know a lot of people have been told they have to leave and never come back.
But do parents actually look around the site? I mean ya we sometimes have issues and some posters troll or step out of line. But for the most part the staff takes care of the issues. And DH is very clean compared to many other places.
So I'm wondering is it just that DH is just online that freaks parents out? Or is it that they don't feel there kids are safe here?
I mean really I would like for parents to at least look around before not letting there child back on DH.
My parents don't ever look around DH ever. I don't think they know that it's called Distant Horizon either - just "That Avatar site." I think they trust me enough too. They seem to get that it's an Avatar fansite and there aren't predators cause everyone just wants to talk about Avatar. So I guess that they are being very reasonable.
