So...my aunt and cousin are throwing my sister a bridal shower on May 28th and I'm helping out. The theme is Pretty In Pink (everything's pink except the gifts which are WRAPPED in pink wrapping paper).
I'm having a hard time thinking of pink food to have at the shower. The only things I can come up with are pink lemonade, cupcakes and cookies with pink frosting, and strawberry flavored laffy taffy...
Does anyone have any suggestions?

hey May 28th is the birthdate for four of my friends XD
how about strawberry shortcake? You could make the icing pink XD and my friend makes this delicious strawberry mouse/ice cream thing that's heavenly. I forgot it's official name, but I can ask her for the recipe if you'd like ^^

Well, you could try strawberry ice cream. Can't go wrong having pink icing on a strawberry cake. And they're technically red, but strawberries and Hawaiian Punch are good choices.

You could make a waldorf salad with shredded carrots, cubed pink lady apples, and dried cranberries instead of raisins. Then put a little red food color or a TINY bit of campari into the mayo..... -Rasberry yogurt!

Pink is still "in"?
Frankly, you guys shoulda picked a color that is more abundent in food. Like "green". Green peas, green beans, cabbage, lettuce, leaves in general...
Well, I'm outta ideas for pink stuff. With any pastry, or food you make from scratch that has a good amount of white flour in it, just add a drop of red food coloring to it.
Like, make pink mashed patotoes, Iono...

I wouldn't put food coloring in. That'd creep me out. XD All I could think of was strawberry things and I think every one else did a much better job than me. I think that mixing different reds and pink would still look good though, even if they aren't techically pink. A fruit salad with watermelon, strawberries, raspberries and any others. yahoo answers for pink foods Recipes for pink foodHave a great time at the shower!

lol Thanks, guys. The reason we chose pink is because...well, have you ever heard of "Pretty In Green"? Pretty In Pink has a nice ring to it.

uncooked meat. Just kidding...how about strawberries? wait theyre red!!!! ehhh the only uncooked meat that is actually pink is white meat and some fish. Red meat is red with... blood. Which is kinda red. And sorta - outta touch - for a baby shower (not ENTIRELY out of touch though...) :P
