Kana, DD: See?! See Taiyo, SEE?! She came back! Why did she come back? Because the last room, which SHE [as in Kana] made, and has already gone into the archives! Therefore, the curse was lifted, because the room was no longer being used! IT'S REAL I TELL YOU! NOT my imagination! D: Eh. . uh. . .I am confuzzled. ;_; Hehe, I saw!! X3 Oh, Kana: Mike says he misses you. Aw. I miss you too Mike. Where has he gone?

marvel, XD looking forward to it.
oh, and btw, remember how you said I can totally steal your Koh-Aang idea? I finally wrote it up, can I show it to you before posting it? Also, now that you already posted yours on ff.net would you rather I didn't and just stick to places like lj? Cause I'd have no problem with that ^^
firefly, Omg, -karma- I TOTALLY get why you called it that ROFL!!! You must color it, I wanna see it when it's done!!!
Kana, lol, when we were trying to decide who should make the next room, I told Taiyo that no one should make it, cause whoever seems to make the next room just seems to disappear. You made the last room, and you totally disappeared after a few days, and now that Mansion V is in the archives, you came back, cause the curse was lifted....eh, don't listen to me, I have no idea what I'm saying >__>;

Yeah, it's really amazing, all things considered, I usually can't stand first-person POV in fanfiction, but this one really gripped you from the first word and on ^^

'The Deal' has been added to 'Manifest Destiny'. The whole thing's done now. Over to you Kaibasgirl. Dazzle us. I have been toying with an idea though. A sort of 'What If?' scenario. The description may include spoilers: What if Katara almost killed Zuko when he first tried to join up?
The meat of the plot would have been the formation of a set of darker characters with one main goal.
Kill Ozai.
Preferably before Aang does.
There's a point to that.
Let's start with Zuko.
He gets thrown off the edges of the Western Air Temple by Katara's water bending.
Barely survives the death plummet.
Gets paid a visit by a dark spirit, not Koh, during his last breaths. The spirit chides him, calling him naive and foolish for believing in a mere 12 year old boy and his band of immature brats and that he's going to die forgotten and alone.
But the spirit can fix that.
In return for power, Zuko has to let the spirit share his body.
Zuko says yes.
Empowered, Zuko sets off to take out his father, knowing that at Aang's current progress, the war would never end. He destroys any and all loyalists to his father's regime in his path.
The new Zuko would have had a new European Dragon motif to signify his turning away from his oriental culture.
Now there would be a snow ball effect, obviously as the are certain things that wouldn't have happened without Zuko's involvement.
Aang is stuck without a firebending master for a quite a while until Iroh is located. Without a master to push his progress, Aang lollygags, spending his time trying to impress Katara.
Katara festers in her own dark thoughts. Her act of 'disposing of' Zuko gives her nightmares about Hama, bloodbending and her own mother's disappointment in her daughter. Stubbornly she insists she did the right thing by ridding the world of Zuko.
Sokka and Toph get closer. Simply because Sokka has no idea where Suki is, since Zuko was never there to tell him about the Boiling Rock. Oh Sokka tries to locate Suki but without much success. Toph takes the chance to make her move.
Meanwhile, Zuko's path of destruction brings him to the Boiling Rock. The demon in him wants to kill everything and move on. Zuko fights back and insists on at least saving those wrongly imprisoned.
The demon decides to humor Zuko and lets the prince do as he pleases. The guards are slaughtered and the prisoners gathered in the main yard. After weeding out the innocent, including Suki, (this is before Hakoda arrives) Zuko floods the prison with the boiling lake, killing everyone else.
The liberated prisoners are left to fend for themselves after being escorted to safety.
Remembering who Zuko is, Suki tries to probe him for information in regards to where Sokka is. Zuko tells her to forget about the bunch of ingrates and just go home. Finally, Zuko relents and directs her to the Western Air Temple, his parting words being that she wouldn't like what she'd find.
And true enough, Suki is shocked to see Sokka and Toph as a pair. She tries to be the bigger person and deal with it. However she still harbors anger and disgust towards Sokka for forgetting about her and pairing up with someone so young.
The final straw comes when Katara asks her how she managed to escape. When Suki replies that Zuko saved her life along with others, Katara goes nuts. First saying that Suki's been decieved, that no good has ever come out from Zuko and then finally, calling Suki a spy and traitor, that she's working for the Fire Nation as Zuko's dead, he could not have saved her.
Aang sides with Katara, as, since he sided with her during Zuko's fall over the cliffs, he'd obviously stand with her now too.
Toph has nothing against Suki, other than Sokka, but she keeps her silence. Having Suki around would jepordise her relationship with Sokka.
Sokka wants to stay friends, at least, with Suki but is strong armed by Katara. Plus he saw Zuko fall to his death so Suki's story seems crazy to him.
On her own fault, Suki blurts out that Zuko was right. That the gang has changed, for the worse. Taking those to be fighting words Katara forces Suki to leave.
Abandoned Suki runs into Ty Lee and Mai who are headed towards the Boiling Rock with some important prisoners. Ty Lee doesn't want to fight and Mai can't be bothered, so they let Suki go without telling Azula.
Suki and Hakoda meet eyes briefly, neither knowing the full impact of their involvement with each other through Hakoda's children.
Zuko's swath of destruction has been falsely credited to Aang. That ticks Zuko off even more. The demon within adds fuel to the fire, telling him that the Avatar's been nothing more than an curse on his life. That even now, the boy is stealing his own people away from him.
Zuko counters that if his father wants to hunt down Aang, then that's fine. Leaves him free to continue on.
Back in the spirit world, the spirts are restless. Zuko's transformation has greatly upset the Cosmic Balance. Roku is concerned for his great grand son's life as Zuko has been tied to a demon not of their reality, a demon that intends to bring more of it's kind over.
Eventually, a rip forms at the weakest spot of the Spiritual Barrier and another of the demon's brethern breaks through. This time it's an alternate version of Aang, one who lost everything he ever cared about due to a foolish mistake.
You know which one.
Dark Aang discovers that in this world Toph is still alive but doesn't know that that in this reality she's still infatuated with Sokka.
The eventual discovery does not go over well.
By a stroke of luck, Dark Aang is momentarily stalled by the 12 year old Aang of this reality. The gang high tail it out of the Western Air Temple.
Suki's wanderings lead her back on Zuko's trail. Despite Zuko's threats that he'll kill her if she keeps pestering him, she forges on. She's got nothing left. Zuko tells her she's still got Kyoshi Island.
"But for how long? Aang doesn't seem any where close to being ready to defeating the Fire Lord."
"How needs Aang?"
Suki wants to join him. She wants to fight.
Zuko says no.
The demon says otherwise and forces Zuko to impart some of it's demonic energy to her.
Dark Zuko's demon form resembles that of a bipedal European Dragon. Dark Aang's is that of the Grim Reaper. Upon Suki's partial possession, her demon form bears a passing likeness to an black armoured Angel with one metallic wing looking like it was made from clockwork and parts of her metal fans.
The duo make their way towards Ozai with intent to end the war.
The past Avatars call out to Aang, informing him of the new threat of the demons.
Thankfully, Aang complies but not without resistance from Katara who insists that the war be ended first.
Koh has his own schemes and tries to make a deal with Dark Aang. The Face Stealer is devoured before he can even blink. 12 year old Aang stumbles upon this during his time with Roku. the young Avatar is horrified to watch his dark counter part tear and rip into Koh, taking and eating chunks of the Face Stealer all the while screaming for Koh to release Toph.
Being distracted Dark Aang isn't aware that the Spirits are pooling their energies to banish him from the Spirit World. The spell works, effectively locking Dark Aang out.
12 year old Aang returns to the human world with new found concern for Toph. Dark Aang would undoubtedly seek her out again.
This is where priorities are switched.
The gang's goal of defeating Ozai is set aside. 12 year old Aang more concerned with protecting Toph and the rest of the world from demons. Iroh is found along with the White Lotus Society and Ursa of all people. The new allies agree that the demons are the greater threat.
Katara does not find this amusing and leaves, scolding Aang for abandoning his ideals and responsibilities. If he won't end the war, she will.
Sokka opts to stay behind for Toph.
Dark Zuko and Dark Suki take on the best of the Fire Army and win. Ozai is destroyed easily. His smug expression turning to horror upon witnessing his son transform into a demonic dragon.
The despot is vaporized.
Suki keeps Azula as a lobotomized pet. Mai and Ty Lee escape Suki's wrath because of their earlier encounter.
Zuko takes the throne, decreeing that he'll only step down ocne the true heir returns. In this case Iroh.
Katara locates her father in the Tower Prison, Hakoda being sent back there because the Boiling Rock now lies at the bottom of the volcano.
She is horrfied at the widespread carnage and slaughter wrought by Zuko and Suki. She confronts who she thinks is Ozai. Turns out to be Zuko.
She calls him a monster and a murderer.
Zuko simply says,
"This. Is. War."
Suki tells Katara to take her father and just leave. Katara calls her former friend a few choice names in regards to her turning coat.
Katara refuses to leave until the Firelord is defeated, until the war is ended.
Zuko mockingly tells her that his uncle would be by shortly if she'd care to wait. Expressing regret that he once thought she was a kind and gentle soul.
"I've changed."
"So have I."
Zuko promises to pull the Fire Army back from all their occupied territories. Katara wants to protest and call him a liar, but Hakoda stops her. The elder man is geniunely distrubed by the darkness coming from Zuko and Suki.
Meanwhile, Dark Aang continues his search for Toph, killing everything that gets in his way. Towns and cities are left with the dead lining the streets.
The White Lotus devise a trap, that fails in the end. Toph places herself in front of Sokka just before Dark Aang drops the scythe down for the killing blow.
Dark Aang stops in the nick of time. His spectral banishment is interrupted by a dark dragon and a dark angel.
12 year old Aang tries to reason with Zuko, saying that Dark Aang needs to be destroyed. Suki holds back a raving Dark Aang from killing Sokka.
"You took her from me! I'll kill you! I'll kill all of you!"
Zuko doesn't even acknowldege 12 year old Aang. Instead he kneels before his Uncle and hands over the Fire Crown. He can't even look his mother in the eye after standing up.
"Zuko?"
"Your son is dead."
"No..."
Sokka questions Suki on how she could join Zuko. She just stares him down with glowing red eyes and replies,
"No. How could you?"
In reference to him and Toph.
Zuko and Suki take Dark Aang back to the Spirit Oasis where he broke through and leave to multiply and spread chaos in another reality.
In the aftermath, the world is a wreck. It would take decades to mend all the fences and heal all the scars.
