We have to wait for cami first. She's the master puppeteer of this court.

Exactly. What we're doing now isn't the only way; maybe we should spend time trying to work out most of the details. >.< If we have teams that aren't based on pairing, it may open up doors, and different opinions as Almighty stated. I want to tinker with it some more before we stop...;_; But we've got to go with the masses *or we'll go to...Avatar Azkaban! @_@* So if this is it, I'll be immensely disappointed in my abilites in not being able to make it better, but...what can one do? .... *hears chains rattle* .... *hears birds moo* @_@!! Avatar Jailaban has come for me!XD Avatar... who? O.o Interesting idea on the teams, might be fun. ^_^

The court is too fun to be trashed. Personally, I agree with the dividing into teams instead of ships... it's healthier that way. ;D

Just a personal opinion. I kind of think you folks may have bitten off more than you can chew and... boy, do I wish I have this kind of energy, not to mention this is fun to you. It actually looks very stressful to me.
I think it may have to do that I once had to participate in an actual court case. Even if you win, it's still a stressful experience. How the loser must feel is just unbearably hard, and participating in a fandom is supposed to be fun, not stressful.

*sobs* I like the Court!
It does create an awful lot of tension, but I do enjoy trying to understand others' interpretations of things in the show.
*Is painfully undecided*

Why don't we just have... a simple debate thread? No winners, no judges. Just sharing our views in one official place. Trying to have others understand our view on certain subjects. Then summaries and concluding statements and all that jazz. I know I'm not very involved in the Court. But I hate to see the forum and its fans so... separated. We're all here for the same reason. A love for Avatar. "Sure. You think you’re any different from me? Or your friends? Or this tree? If you listen hard enough you can hear every living thing breathing together, you can feel everything growing. We’re all livin’ together, even if most folks don’t act like it. We all have the same roots, and we are all branches of the same tree." Slightly off, but I thought it fit .

o.o ....I like being a Judge...But Debating is fun...I guess I wouldn't mind giving up my title to involve myself...But then wouldn't this room be like all the other debate rooms? It wouldn't be a Court at all....

Sorry Cami, I feel bad that your getting really tired of this. I guess we can find a way to make this work.... I personally like Breathingin's idea of separating into teams.

Don't worry Cami! >.< *Sings you a song that makes your ears shrivel. 0.0 Oops...XD*
Our team names, if we do them, should be something that keeps away from a temptation to work with fellow shippers. We could always rotate teammates as well; like those who I don't usually discuss with, we could interact.
Ex: Team Marble vs. Team Bird instead of Team Blue[/color] vs. Team Red which could, subconsciously, relate to the theme colors of a ship.
But if we want to make teams by tying together common intrest, we could do favorite TV shows that don't involve Avatar, favorite sport or school subject (school subject might be cool, because each team would try to use their skill in their material in a mathematical, scientific *etc.* way.) so on and so on.
Ex: Team Kim Possible vs. Team Hey Arnold
We could have one topic on Mondays, and then leave it open until Friday so everyone doesn't feel rushed to post something, and could gather tid bits during the week. It doesn't even have to be judged- just different teammates posting up different points of the topic, that's it. At the end we could try to compile information or make it into a story- something that appeals to a sense we enjoy that doesn't stress us out but makes it fun. We could present in fanart, fanfiction, etc., etc...We don't even need to judge if you want, just discuss and say which points each team brought were cool.
Sort of like, a question on Monday, teams having time to gather tidbits all week, then compiling it all into a fun format they enjoy that can involve everyone, then posting it for all to discuss. It could be competitive, but maybe we could have different top spots: "Most thought-provoking" "most thought-driven"...
I'm not saying we should do this at all. It's only a suggestion, or a different method. *and I would really like to know what you would like to do Cami. It's up to you. I'll help as much as I can if you want to continue...*
I really love the Courts and don't want to see it die completely... On that though, is it going to die? Or are we going to keep trying? I haven't heard a final decision- has one been given?;_;
