Let's see...
1. I'm surprised, but looking back on season 1, I actually really do miss Zhao. He was just so...well, genuinely evil, but in a way that you can't help but grin at. He died fittingly, but he hasn't even been alluded to since then.
2. Sorry, not a big fan of The Beach. I would've changed the way it was written, so it seemed less like a melodramatic, cliched "we're just normal teens with problems, just like you!" show. I admire their attempt to make the Fire Nation teens seem normal, but that episode just pushed it too far for my taste.
3. I would've taken the fart joke out of The Avatar and the Firelord. Great episode, totally unnecessary joke
4. I TOTALLY agree with the "onscreen Maiko get-together". When I first saw Mai and Zuko kiss, I was so confused and always felt like their relationship was missing the crucial element of, I dunno, actually starting.
5. Have Aang struggle more with his "I'll never firebend again" issue. It was hardly referenced AT ALL throughout the show, but it was such a powerful moment when he even rebuffed Katara's attempts to console him when he decided he would never firebend.
6. Not really something in the show, but I would've taken out the "shipping" scenes from the trailer. All it's done thus far is generate hatred and mockery between rival ships.
I'm sure I could think of more, but for now, that's my list.
