That trailer is fantastic. Hey, it may be a little out of context but that's how a lot of books-turned-movies are and I'm sure it'll tun out just fine. Here's the trailer that someone edited with music: uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Xn0cHgL0DGg

Most movies skip a lot of the dialog of the book all together. The scenery doesn't really matter, honestly. As long as it's not something totally random, eh?

Most book to movies are pretty bad and messed up. The people who make the movies say that they're not trying to translate the book to film, but make a good movie based on the book. So they basically screw everything up to have a more 'artistic' movie.

Most people either enter the theatre expecting something exactly how they pictured it when reading, or they go in with the expectation of phail so they make a point of pointing out any minor change in the movie. XD We shouldn't critic the movie until we see it; see the movie, not how we expect the book to be, I mean. Instead of factoring in:
-Whether or not vampires are totally 4380947093874287342879432879423879x more perfect than humans -Whether or not Edward is your perfect love match boyfriend with his hotness -If Bella looks like you, ladies, come on. -.- -If every detail is the same....
It should be more along the lines of:
-Whether the acting was good -Whether the scenes were easy to follow -Whether the acting was good -Whether the acting was good -WHETHER THE ACTING WAS GOOD, GOD. XD
Comparing the Twilight series to the Harry Potter series, I mean, look at the HP movies. They obviously picked people they thought would look the part and didn't even bother with acting ability at first. XD And they focused so much on making every detail so spot on like the book, they skipped over 3809823489437438797934 events to the point that the movies weren't always easy to follow, namely Order of the Pheonix.
With the Twilight movie, it looks more like they are combining events rather than just skipping over so much. Plus, like I said in the last page, YOU ARE NOT GOING TO FIND A PERFECTLY PERFECT BEAUTIFUL AMAZING STUNNING SPARKLEY WOW FAINT OMG SWOON of an Edward. It's just not possible. xD -

Thank you, Shay, you are defiantly getting karma for that! I mean there is no way a person in Hollywood or on this earth for that matter could look like the Edward we all had in our minds. We are just gonna have to except a average, hott guy from Hollywood. lol. I would much rather have actors who look somewhat like the characters not totally, and can act than awful actors who look exactly like the characters.

I agree with all of you completely, but it is a bit disappointing. IMHO, they should have just left the book ALONE. No Movie. No nada. And as for the Edward issue. Yeah, they did not make the best decision by picking Robert, but they should have chosen someone like Tom Sturridge. *___* He is a great actor and. . .*clears throat* very attractive. I could go on and rant about what I think about what they did but. . .What does it matter? By the way, people, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. If you think differently from the other person. Well, then, move along. You probably will not change their opinion.

By the way, people, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. If you think differently from the other person. Well, then, move along. You probably will not change their opinion. So, in your mind, discussion is only alright if everyone has the exact same view? XD That makes for extremely dull conversation, don't you think? But, alright, we can go back to just talking about how hott Edward is. Rofl. Although I have to say--- He's swoon worthy. I want. Hold on tight spider monkey could only be turned into the sexiest quote ever by him, I swear. LOL.... Something with substance, now: I have to disagree, Vanny. Different people are attracted to different types of Media. The Twilight movie could very well attract a brand new fan base; Fans of the movie, not necessarily the book. It's "BASED ON THE NOVELS BY STEPHANIE MEYER," not "Word for word an exact replica and same vision as both Stephanie Meyer and every single fan girl who has ever read the series." It's never been a rule that fans of the books have to be automatic fans of the movie. Movies are often times directed toward the fans who have already read the book, but new viewers as well. I see no problem with trying to get others interested in the Twilight story, even through a different source of media.

You sound like me when I first got it.
Anyways, so I can't wait to see the movie, but I'm also acared to because I'll prbably be complainng about it every ten seonds. But that's the way book based movies are, most are never exact replica's of the book. I think we should all be happy that we even get a movie, even if it's out of context. darn it, I keep contradicting myself. X(
Oh well, I'm taking my friends to the movie when it comes out, basically whoever I got hooked on it.
Although Tom would have been a great actor for Edward, but I also love Robert.
