. I'm not sure what trailer kiss you're talking about but they are talking about one of them. The early season three trailer Maiko kiss.
You can tell I'm new to this because I have only seen one trailer, the finale. So I assumed that was what they were talking about. I'll try to find old trailers, just to see how suggestive/misleading they are. At first I thought Maiko was intentionally wrong, because Mai seemed superficial and uncaring when she yawned and told Zuko "I just asked you if you were cold" and the exchange "I don't hate you" "I don't hate you, too" seemed like it wasn't made to last. But I think they are more fit for each other than I thought at first, and they also are good for each other. It looks like Mai is growing, and Zuko needs someone like Mai to help him chill out a bit. So, with Zuko not as "available" as I thought he was, it's much less likely for him to look for attachments elsewhere.
bagpipeturtle: No matter how convinced I am Kataang will happen now, I still like to read pro-Zutara arguments, and I do think there is something there in that comment about the jumping ahead. I don't quite know what they'll do with it. I'm very curious. I only hope it has not happened yet, that it wasn't just the catacombs. I'd like a bit more spice, perhaps an opportunity for Zuko and Katara to be confused about their feelings and for Aang to be jealous and find new motivation to take some serious action to secure his girl. But if there will be absolutely nothing, I will be disappointed, if anything because the interview suggests otherwise. They say they knew there would be "something," not that there is absolutely "nothing." The "whatever" at the end suggests that something is small. I don't think they'd sound so dismissive if Zutara was their intended conclusive romance.
