No! He has no sense of humor at all. I knew he was bad news the moment he appeared onscreen.

Yes! He is the most shexiest owl alive.

Well, I agree, but he could be the most smartest Spirit in the world. "He who knows 10,000 things". And he's a huge owl!

I like him...but I like most characters that wipe the smugness off the lead characters faces...

Wan Shi Tong was great, and he had some pretty good lines too. I like how he's really the only character that made the Gaang question what they were doing, something that's probably not going to happen again.

I love him. I really do.
I love Avatar, libraries, and Owls. That episode PWNd. Is my favorite.
And I love dragons as well.

I hate libraries. And knowing 10,000 things doesn't mean anything(if you give me a week a can probably list 20,000 things). Reading 1% of the books in that owl's library will teach you ATLEAST 100,000 things. I hope he comes back, gets converted to the good guys, and attacks the firenation though. that would be pwn!! "YOU BASTARDS DESTROYED MY LIBRARY!!!"

I liked Wan Shi Tong, personally. Anyone who would go to the lengths he did to gather so much information on probably every subject under the sun definitely has some form of greater good in mind, even if it is just ensuring that knowledge of many things survives to see a new generation. As a matter of fact, I based my D&D character, Amerigo Keeler III, on Wan Shi Tong in that he, too, has a vast library containing much knowledge about many things, most notably the various schools of magic.

Great character.
He was the turning point in the series, validating my suspicion that the Avatar world wasn't so peaceful after all. That wars have taken place in the past, and the Fire Nation may have had reason for their aggression.
"Do you think you are the first ones to think that your war is justified?"

Wan Shi Tong was fantastic, for all the reasons stated by the two posts above me.

I hope he comes back, gets converted to the good guys, and attacks the firenation though. I don't think he's likely to do that. I think the spirits, as a whole, are neutral, I doubt Tui would have gone on his rampage if nothing had happened to La... And Wan Shi Tong has a great dislike of humans... ALL humans...I don't think he'd help one side destroy the other, he'd just sit back and let them wipe each other out

Wan Shi Tong is love. I am a Wan Shi Tong fangirl. He rocks my world. <3

But seriously, he's a very good character and just gave us a lot to think about in the episode.
