From what I'm told, Gringa is referered to anyone in North America regardless of race. And yes I'm a Gringa and proud of it! Si es mio placer!

Ohh, I see I see. I call myself a Dominican Gringa, because even though I'm spanish, I'm not on par with my language. xD And I don't act spanish at all. Mi familia siempre estan burlando de mi. Me llaman gringa. xD

i donno really...
i"m a native speaker,
and whenever my mother says
gringa, she means "white person"..,
not just a "north american" person...

My dad's been to Costa Rica and I'm assuming that the natives told him that Gringa means "North American" regardless of race. Plus I've seen it in a book that I was studying about Spanish. Sokka: Como se dice "Burlando" en inglase? |

My bad, I didn't mean to confuse you. Soy dominicana, y hablo español. I just say I'm "spanish", or hispanic.
@karate: burlando is "to joke about" or "make fun of". And yeah, I think you're right about the Gringa definition.

Si, es "sangre" en español.
Yo creo que tiene que decir "tambien" no "tambian". I think there's another way to say "make fun of" or "joke about" instead of "burlando". Yo creo que es "burlar" o algo asi. No me recuerdo. xD

Frizz.: Yo creo en eso tambien. Las novelas en español son mas interesantes que las en ingles. I've watched english novelas before, they seem cheesy to me. xD Like "Passions". Mi favorita novela son de Thalia! "Rosalinda", "Maria Mercedes", "Marimar", etcetc. She made good novelas, even if the plot was the same. Me recuerdo de una novela con Yuri (an artist, not slash) that was really good too. @karate: De nada. ;D
