Names I would love for my kids, if I have any...lol
Boys: Gawain, Axel, Soren, Moritsune Girls: Hibana, Akasha, Morgana, Yorotsuna
I would also really love to give a boy the name of Hannibal and have Lecter as his middle name...hehe

I tell everyone that I'm going to have a girl named Edward and a boy named Oedipus. If I call them both Ed, I'd only have to yell once and they'd both come. And really, I think "Oed" looks really cool written down. But boy will little Oedipus have problems when he gets older ^_~.
I, of course, would never actually do that. People need to think about their kids as people who will have to live with the name they're given til they're eighteen. I work at a daycare and have seen the names Wolfgang, Bambi, and Titus, and more. It's just kind of sad. I like a name that's a little different but not completely out there. I can't think of any off the top of my head at the moment...

My mom had a co-worker whose name was "Female", because her parents left the word "female" on her birth tag when she was born. So she tries to pass her name off as "FeMale" (pronouonced like Tamale). Kinda sad.

I like the names Maeve, Artemis, Lilly, Heike, and Katharina for girls and the names Patrick, Scott, Timothy, Jade, Joshua, Matthias and Daniel for boys. Just to be ornery, I give my kid a really old fashioned middle name like Rose or Ignatius... But I found something I thought was interesting...Apparently in the Celtic culture, there is a tradition for naming your kids (which I think my grandfather's side of the family did cause there's alot of people with the same name in different generations. I had to do a geneology project...Good lord I hope I never have to do that again -has a REALLY big family-) www.fantasy-ireland.com/Irish-baby-name.htmlIrish Customs for naming boys: The oldest son was named after his father's father. The second son was named after his mother's father. The third son would be given his father's name. The fourth son was named after his father's oldest brother. Irish Customs for naming girls: The oldest daughter was named after her mother's mother. The second daughter would be named after her father's mother. The third daughter was given her mother's name. The fourth daughter was named after her mother's oldest sister
