The Panthers However, we are way better than what we play like and for some odd reason we get pushed over by teams we should have beat. Although, I have to give the Houston Texans their props. They are clearly not the same team anymore. I tell you what, I hope the Panthers were taking notes beside just taking this lost. By the way, Steve Smith is the Barry Sanders of the Wide Receiver position.

* Arizona Cardinals 23, Seattle Seahawks 20 * Baltimore Ravens 20, New York Jets 13 * Chicago Bears 20, Kansas City Chiefs 10 * Cleveland Browns 51, Cincinnati Bengals 45 * Dallas Cowboys 37, Miami Dolphins 20 * Denver Broncos 23, Oakland Raiders 20 * Detroit Lions 20, Minnesota Vikings 17 (OT) * Green Bay Packers 35, New York Giants 13 * Houston Texans 34, Carolina Panthers 21 * Indianapolis Colts 22, Tennessee Titans 20 * Jacksonville Jaguars 13, Atlanta Falcons 7 * New England Patriots 38, San Diego Chargers 14 * Pittsburgh Steelers 26, Buffalo Bills 3 -- Box Score * San Francisco 49ers 17, St. Louis Rams 16 * Tampa Bay Buccaneers 31, New Orleans Saints 14 * Washington Redskins 20, Philedelphia Eagles 12
Crazy week. The Cardinals beat the Seahawks? wtf? Denver beats Oakland (w00t!) on a last minute timeout to ice the kicker (who missed the second attempt), and the Browns and Bengals apparently benched their defensive units.

I live in Dallas so i have to like the Cowboys by default. They'll be better this year but their defense is suspect and the running game needs a lot of work. I'm also a Charger's fan cause LT was playing for TCU when i was going there .

^Oh, my.
Gah...did anyone see the Texans and Panthers game? The amount of fumbles and turnovers made me sick. And the refs missed plenty of penalties on the Texans...

I knew Nick Goings was going to fumble eventually while running kickoff returns. (Seriously, his strides while he is running are too short. They need to find a guy who has a chance in running it back for a score, or atleast get us good field position.) If we could combine Foster's strength with Williams speed, we would have one heck of a runnning back. While the Panthers defense didn't play great, they gave us plenty of opportunities to get back in that game and we blew it everytime. (Except for the great play of Steve Smith. My nickname for him is "Sonic" due to his speed and attitude. As far as the Delhomme vs. David Carr quarterback situation goes, I honestly believe Delhomme is our guy and if he can't suceed then the Panthers aren't going far this year. Hopefully we will bounce back in a big way. (Preferably, I like to see them go 15-1.)

Go Carson Palmer!
You like the Cowboys, MsJimmy? How do you feel about TO? He's one of my favorites, although I don't think he's an elite WR.

I like TO a lot better this season. He can get kinda ridiculous when he gets all mad and throws fits about not getting the ball (which he never caught) but he seems to be doing a lot better... from the last two games I've seen. Overall, I like TO

How bout them cowboys?? ... *gets shot* <-- Pulled the trigger. How 'bout them SKINS?! 2-0 for the first time in a LONG time, even though neither game was won with particular grace. At the end of each game I'd get up off the couch and wonder, "How did we pull that off?"

He is/will be if he would settle down. No, TO use to be an elite WR. The reaon he isn't is because it's getting older, and he doesn't have the same break away spead that he use to have.
