I am going with Ottawa. Alfredsson + Heatly = a cup. My team was the Sharks but Detroit took it from them but at least Anaheim took it from them.

Boo. Ducks won and my prediction of them winning actually came true. Normally I'm wrong.

I'm so mad... dumb sens blew their lead. What up with the fact that the Govenator was there? I bet if it was the Sharks, he wouldn't have show up. I'm hoping for a much better outcome on Wednesday. I'm going with 3-1 Sens.

I really like Colorado's future, especially with Wolski, Stastny, and Budaj. It really irked me when we had Paul Kariya and Teemu Selanne, and got snuffed that year. From that list, I'm hoping Budaj steps it up a notch this year. It was like being the NY Rangers who keep trying to "buy a team" (with a star roster), but get nowhere.

Budaj plays great against the Ducks. I think he'll be a great goalie. It didn't seem that Colorado gave him much of a chance considering they got Theodore.

If the Aves play Budaj the whole year instead of splitting time with Theodore they would have made the playoffs over the Flames. I remember being completely baffled with the Theodore trade last year, still am too. I guess it can work for the best though. After Theodore contract ends after this upcoming season the Aves have an extra 5 million to spend on FAs. They should go after Visnovsky, he is one of the best dmen in the league. They have lots of good forwards coming up in the system, but there is very little dmen to be excited about. edit: I feel like crying , I loath the ducks and they're now up 2-0.

I love Chris Neil! I want him on the sharks. Anyways that Pronger , I hope he gets a two game suspension for that hit. edit: I just read this article about a 99 year old man who was in attendance in the game when the old Ottawa team won the cup in 1927. It's a great read, I hope the sharks win a cup in my lifetime . edit again: I loath the ducks and all there dismal good luck. That kind of sad how there are no duck fans on this whole board .

The stanley cup finals is not so good for the Sens. I am surprised at how bad the Ducks are killing them.

I truthfully can't say I'm surprise though, the ducks (it pains me to say it) were the best team all year. Their points total isn't that high because of the fact that they got stuck in the extremely competitive west. It's been known that the owner of the Columbus Blue Jackets want his team to move to the Eastern Conference because he felt that the Blue Jackets would have already made the playoffs by now. Also the Ducks got stuck in the division with 2 other 100 point teams, talk about unfair. They also completely stink against the Kings. They lost 4 games to the Kings and out of the 4 they won, 2 went to overtime. Out of all the teams in the East only two had a shot at beating the Ducks 4 times and they are the Senators and the Rangers. Senators because they are a deep team with lots of talent. They have players that are willing to get nasty such as Neil. The only problem with the Sens is Emery, he occasionally lets in a softie. Rangers because they have Avery. No one upsets the Ducks more then Avery does. I can contribute one of the Kings win all on Avery. Avery took runs at Scott Niedermayer the whole night. That just PO the ducks, so the whole night they were taking stupid penalty on Avery. A matter of fact they Ducks just stop playing and started to take shots at Avery. The Kings made them pay by scoring on the powerplay. Also the way the Rangers were playing in this playoff they should have made it past the Sabers, if it not for some terrible luck. Really if the Ducks win they can thank Brian Murry (sp), the sens coach, he built that team. Kevin Lowe the Oilers GM for trading Pronger to a team that already had Nidermayer. Did he not learn anything from the Shark/Kipper mess. Trade out of the Conference .

edit again: I loath the ducks and all there dismal good luck. That kind of sad how there are no duck fans on this whole board . I'm rooting for the ducks just because they are in the western conference, like my avs. =) edit: man.... the sens are just falling apart. =/
