No Roads Left - Linkin Park It talks about a person who's confused in life and doesn't know their purpose, and continues to constantly disappoint themselves by striving for something they know is unattainable, perfection. Standing alone with no direction How did I fall so far behind? Why Am I searching for perfection? Knowing it's something I won't find
In my fear and flaws I let myself down again All because
I run Till the silence splits me open I run Till it puts me underground Till I have no breath And no roads left but one
Soul Meets Body I dream of an ideal place where soul meets body. har har har I want to live where soul meets body And let the sun wrap its arms around me And bathe my skin in water cool and cleansing And feel, feel what its like to be new
Taxman - The Beatles Ok, not really but I love songs that stick it to the man. B]

Thank You by Simple Plan Who/Why: My [former] best friend. Lyrics: I thought that I could always count on you, I thought that nothing could come between us two. We said as long as we would stick together, We’d be alright, We’d be ok. But I was stupid And you broke me down I’ll never be the same again.
So thank you for showing me, That best friends can not be trusted, And thank you for lying to me, Your friendship and good times we had you can have them back
Yeah!
I wonder why it always has to hurt, For every lesson that you have to learn. I won’t forget what you did to me, How you showed me things, I wish I’d never seen. But I was stupid, And you broke me down, I’ll never be the same again.
So thank you for showing me, That best friends can not be trusted, And thank you for lying to me, Your friendship the good times we had you can have them back
When the tables turn again, You’ll remember me my friend, You’ll be wishing I was there for you. I’ll be the one you’ll miss the most, But you’ll only find my ghost. As time goes by, You’ll wonder why, You’re all alone.
So thank you for showing me, That best friends can not be trusted, And thank you for lying to me, Your friendship and good times we had you can have them back.
So thank you, for lying to me, So thank you, for all the times you let me down So thank you, for lying to me, So thank you, your friendship you can have it back.

In The End - Linkin Park It's really about several relationships I've had in my life. But mostly dealing with my former best friend & last boyfriend. I can connect to this song on so many levels. (It starts with) One thing / I don’t know why It doesn’t even matter how hard you try Keep that in mind / I designed this rhyme To explain in due time All I know time is a valuable thing Watch it fly by as the pendulum swings Watch it count down to the end of the day The clock ticks life away It’s so unreal Didn’t look out below Watch the time go right out the window Trying to hold on / but didn’t even know Wasted it all just to Watch you go I kept everything inside and even though I tried / it all fell apart What it meant to me / will eventually / be a memory / of a time when I tried so hard And got so far But in the end It doesn't even matter I had to fall To lose it all But in the end It doesn't even matter One thing / I don’t know why It doesn’t even matter how hard you try Keep that in mind / I designed this rhyme To remind myself how I tried so hard In spite of the way you were mocking me Acting like I was part of your property Remembering all the times you fought with me I’m surprised it got so (far) Things aren’t the way they were before You wouldn’t even recognize me anymore Not that you knew me back then But it all comes back to me In the end You kept everything inside and even though I tried / it all fell apart What it meant to me / will eventually / be a memory / of a time when I tried so hard And got so far But in the end It doesn’t even matter I had to fall To lose it all But in the end It doesn’t even matter I've put my trust in you Pushed as far as I can go For all this There’s only one thing you should know I've put my trust in you Pushed as far as I can go For all this There’s only one thing you should know I tried so hard And got so far But in the end It doesn’t even matter I had to fall To lose it all But in the end It doesn’t even matter

Well I will focus on the Right Now in my life.
Another Brick in the Wall (Part 2) by Pink Floyd Why/how: Simply because I am in a crossroads in my life, where I do not know what to do. This song represents the fact that my job feels dead and repetitive to me. I am not a human being, I am a body in a manpower chart for superiors to abuse...."just another brick in the wall."
Simple Man by Lynyrd Skynyrd Why/how: Because this song sums up how I try to live my life toward others, and myself. I do not try to complicate who I am. What you see is what you get. I try to be nice and accept others. I try to live life simply and peaceably. I try not to get caught up in the complicated things in life. "Follow your heart, and nothing else."
Tomorrows Industry by Dropkick Murphys Why/how: I believe our values are dying. Our lives seem to be judged in a dollar amount. No respect, no kindness, no values. Everything seems to focus on money. What is popular, what we idolize and look up to. "He's Got Yesterday's Values, Living In Tomorrow's Industry."
Pork and Beans by Weezer Why/how: A long time ago, I figured life was much easier if you stop worrying what others think. I have nothing to prove to anyone but myself. I am not out to win a popularity contest. Live your life for you. "I don't give a hoot about what you think"
I Hate Myself For Loving You by Joan Jett Why/how: Have you ever fallen for someone you can never have? Even though you know you cannot have them, you cannot keep them from your thoughts. You hope even against your better judgement. You even know it is screwing up your chances with someone else? "Can't break free from the things you do"
Fall Back Down by Rancid Why/how: No matter what goes wrong. Things will work out. With a little help from my friends, I will make it just fine. No matter how bleak things look. No matter what mistakes I make, or if bad things happen. "If I fall back down, your going to help me back up again."
I wonder if any of that stuff makes sense to anyone but me.

How Soon Is Now - t.A.T.u. Who/Why: I can just relate to the lyrics so much right now! Lyrics: I am the son and the heir Of a shyness that is criminally vulgar I am the son and heir Of nothing in particular
You shut your mouth How can you say I go about things the wrong way I am human and I need to be loved Just like everybody else does
I am the son and the heir Of a shyness that is criminally vulgar I am the son and heir Of nothing in particular
You shut your mouth How can you say I go about things the wrong way I am human and I need to be loved Just like everybody else does
There's a club if you'd like to go you Could meet somebody who really loves you So you go, and you stand on your own and You leave on your own and you go home, And you cry and you want to die.
When you say it's gonna happen "now", When exactly do you mean? see I've already Waited too long and all my hope is gone
You shut your mouth How can you say I go about things the wrong way I am human and I need to be loved Just like everybody else does
