The Dutch was actually good. It did feel a bit weird after all the Japanese to suddenly hear my own native tongue, though.
I've watched until episode 21 now. So many good episodes to discuss.
First of all, the episode with Shin was so sad. I got all teary-eyed when Fuu couldn't bring herself to tell his mother that he died. I felt so bad for the mother, because she knew that he was getting himself in trouble and that she is now alone.
Episode 10 was very good. I loved Mugen's training montage and how it showed that he isn't always so sure of his strength. Then the fight at the end between Mugen and Shouryuu (who uses that chi thing to damage internal organs) was simply phenomenal. Mugen was able to use the chi focusing himself and he actually used his brain to defeat Shouryuu (with his blade as trump card).
I love how Jin is such a closet romantic. His line to Kohana/Shino "I wish the rain would never stop," was so sweet. It's such a cute ship.
Last episode to discuss, otherwise this post will be too long. xD But the diary episode was so funny. I loved how Fuu wrote down exactly all the things that would agitate Mugen: "The second guy who I thought was a little more attractive" and "They're actually very similar".
I actually ship Fuu/Mugen now. Their interactions always make me laugh and I do believe they secretly like each other but will never admit it. And I think Fuu sees Jin as her older brother.

Ack, I've been so deficient in this thread! Kohana's a new convert, so I need to talk more to her about this magnificent series. (And for those of you who haven't seen it yet - you must! This is truly one of the great anime series, I promise you.)
