Because he wasn't Diva's chevalier. The show hints at him being Diva and Saya's mother's chevalier, but I don't remember if it was actually stated or not. *hasn't watched the show in forever. D:* I think he was talking with Amshel in a scene a few episodes ago and had to deal with level of their powers. Nathan was telling Amshel not to "mess with him" because he was stronger due to the fact that he was Saya and Diva's mother's Chevalier. Still, it was rather interesting to see him pop up in the final episode.

Yes, Nathan was Diva's mother's chevalier. He practically states it.

^ Yeah, but people are just wondering what episode Nathan "states" it. I am positive it was in the last 5-6 episodes.

I knew that Nathan wasn't Diva's chevalier (someone said it here not too long ago), but I"m still misunderstanding something. What does that have to do with Nathan still being alive after being run through with Saya's blood-covered sword? *feels stupid* :-[ Because the blood of the sister of whoever his queen is would be fatal to him, and not Saya's. Ok thanks, night! *karma* Well, I'm happy that Nathan didn't die, cuz he was amusing to me. I actually didn't see Amshel missing a chunk of his body. I was too shocked at seeing him alive to notice it. Though, I'm glad cuz it sounds like it was gross.

Hagi? Haji? It doesn't matter since he's still hot... Lol, I agree xD Oh my, I nearly start crying when Hagi said, "I'll always love you" to Saya then he got "crushed". I knew he wouldn't die, but Saya was crying and screaming "HAGIII!!!" and I was like WAHH!!! Yeah, Amshel was pretty gross, but I had the feeling he was still alive. But what about NATHAN! At the end, he was the reporter guy! It looked AND sounded like him! HOW CAN HE BE ALIVE?! 0_o But all in all, a good finale. That was the most depressing seperation eva!! I almost cried too But what about NATHAN! At the end, he was the reporter guy! It looked AND sounded like him! HOW CAN HE BE ALIVE?! 0_o Because he wasn't Diva's chevalier. I did not think about that! But it showed him turn to stone... The end to Blood+ was the best ending to a anime I have ever scene. I admit, most of the show was a struggle. It was always 2 steps forward 1 step back, with major love triangles, betrayals, and kind of creepy stuff. Reminded me of a soap opera. But the ending made it all worth while. I was so excited to seethe ending, but now I am a little depressed, too. I miss it. ;-; And I am sooo*5 pages later*ooooo happy Haji admitted his love to Saya and she returned it!!! SO OTP!!!! They are so aweet together. =3 Plus, I really hate it when they try to make a pairing between people raised as brother and sister. They might not be blood related, but it still bothers me (Kai and Saya.) Am I the only one...? But, anyway, the ending was amazing.

^ The ending was amazing! It was so sweet when Haji said he loved Saya! And when Kai was with Diva's children at Saya's grave, and he said they should probably start calling him dad. That was a tear bringer! Then there was that flower that Haji must've put there. Yea, I cried there. lol
Diva's kids remind me of my 8 month niece. She has a bib that says "Diva in training." I saw that and was like oh geez! lol

Lol xD The girls were very cute!! They were the cutest little cocoon babies too :3 But yeah, it was a real tear jerker. D': But, she was not dead. She was just in that years-long sleep. I wish it would have shown her wake up... But, then again, that might have started another whole part of the serese.

Some shows have especially outstanding final episodes, like FMA, Death Note, and End of Evangelion. But Blood+ felt anticlimactic to me, there was never any major increase in quality and it felt the same as the rest of the series.

I thought it was good. It might just be a chick thing which the: "I love you! RUN! *supposedly dies*" and the rose left where she was sleeping. I dont know. I thought it was sweet and sad, a good combo. It was kind of "happly ever after-ish" but I liked it. I do admit, FMA and Death Note were bigger and more epic endings, but this one was good too. I think this one made more of a impact on me though, because, compaired to the rest of the serese, it was the best. Death Note and FMA were good all the way though, so when they ended it was like, "That was good..." but when Blood+ ended I was surprised and happy.
