Well, added caps of various characters to my gallery, including for the first time Undine, Snow's new guardian ARM. Like Ginta's guardian, Alice, another character I think it'd be a bit awkward to show on Toonami. Especially with the position of Undine's stripes in my 04 cap of her...

I did that, going to the Naruto section, and they only had 3 episodes that were from last year. Maby its just my computer or something.

I was thinking of renaming this thread to just "MAR." Especially now that Prince of Tennis doesn't seem to be on Jetstream anymore. Anyway, this week's ep was pretty cool. Introduced a splinter cell within the Chess Pieces called Zonnens, who are each named after a planet. Hmmm, kind of like Sailor Moon, except I think only 3 of them are girls. This week we met a guy named Mercury and a girl named Mars (ah yes, more caps for my gallery!) The next new ep (which should be in 2 weeks since they currently alternate between new eps and old eps) will introduce a guy named Jupiter and a girl named Venus. Really enjoying this development, looking forward to more of it. Also gotta mention that Mars's ARM, arc-en-ciel, of course reminds me of the J-rock band L'arc~en~ciel. Of course it makes sense because the ARM produces rainbow colored effects, and the name is French for rainbow, but surely the writers must have thought of the band, too....

*Coldly* Or rainbows. About the band? Dream on. You heard me.
I remember MAR from when they showed it on Toonami for, like, two weeks. I still hate them for taking MAR off and having it be solely online again. I like that show. The last episode I remember, Ginta was doing some training to make Babbo stronger, and he wound up making Babbo into something stupid like a giant boxing glove or some such.
And I don't care what anybody says, Babbo is not a mace! He's a kendama.

Of course he's a kendama. Who said he was a mace?

Who, indeed. Try the ads for MAR in the magazines. You know the ones. Animerica and Shonen Jump.

The only anime magazine I read regularly is Anime Insider. I don't recall if I ever noticed any ad in there referring to Babbo as a mace or kendama or anything. Whatever.
Anyway, this week's episode on Jetstream introduces a Zonnen named Venus, which I thought was appropriate, given that Valentine's Day is this week.

It was such a good show!! And I have not meet anyone who did not like it. It does not any sence. Well, mabe it was to bring more attention to the site, now that I think about it. I think CN thinks only little boys watch the shows on Toonami, which explains their media problems, along with why you cant get a nice fitting, girlish shirt with a pic of Ginta's head on it (which I would buy)

Wasn't a big fan of The Prince of Tennis. IMO, it's as boring as Death Note. But I still watch Toonami every week. Well, if they're showing new episodes of Naruto. And I know quite a few adult males, and even more females, both teenagers and adults, who watch Toonami for whatever reason. You know what show besides MAR that they showed for a while but don't anymore on Toonami? Zatch Bell. I don't even remember them ending that show, just turned on the TV one night, expecting to see it, but it wasn't on. Sure, I didn't watch Toonami the week before, but it seemed there was still a lot more Zatch Bell to go from where they were.

There is alot more Zatch Bell. They've been showing it on Toonami Jetstream, I think they started from the beginning some time after they stopped airing it on TV, and I'm still waiting for it to catch up to where it was on TV and hopefully move beyond that point online, but I also keep wondering if it will ever return to TV.
Anyway, I thought Prince of Tennis was kind of boring, but I kept watching it every week on Jetstream until they took it off a few weeks ago. But I don't understand how anyone could call Death Note boring.

It's because revelations and plot twists come at such a slow pace. I'd die of boredom long before any 'Kira' would get me with their Death Note and designate a time of death for me.

Funny, I find every episode so far to be riveting.

They could have done more on revelations up to now, but... No violence makes Nerull sad. If there's not going to be any violence, then the least they should have done is made it a psychological horror, and had the series be something along the lines of someone going completely, totally, fully, irrevocably insane. I'm talking seeing the shinigami without the aid of the Death Note and being seriously disturbed by it. Seriously, when Light got the Death Note? If memory serves, he didn't even flinch when he first saw Ryuk. BORING! You call that riveting? You need a touch of insanity in your brain, "friend". Then you, too, will see just how boring Death Note really is.
Tell you what, you play Haunting Ground for the PS2, if you're old enough, and tell me that it's not even mildly intriguing. If you say no, then we'll see eye to eye on something: We each like something the other finds boring.

I'm more than old enough to play any kind of video game, and I wouldn't mind trying lots of different games, but... I can't afford it. Because it's kids who have all the dang money and no bills. Still, Light clearly goes insane after he gets the Death Note. In any event, I don't really mind if you find it boring, I just find it surprising. But that's not saying much, because I don't understand the vast majority of what goes on inside other human beings' heads.

And then he magically comes back to his senses just because he gave up the Death Note. Riiiight. The Joker as they depict him in the 2004 to present Batman series makes more sense. And THAT, my "friend", is saying something, considering what goes on inside his head.
