But whatever, if it makes for the story, then that's how it is. 12 year old tennis prodigy.

I've been reading the manga of Mar, so I'm definitely looking forward to watching the anime. But Prince of tennis seemed sort of boring to me. I just hope that there is a storyline and the whole thing isn't just tennis matches.

I mostly find Ryoma annoying. Also I think it's weird... I don't know how old any of the characters look to me, except to say that I think all the 8th and 9th graders look alot more than just one or two years older than the 7th graders like Ryoma and his fans on the show. Also... I didn't get to see all of the episode on TV, but it's okay since I've seen it before on Jetstream. But the funny thing is, in the episode (19) I just watched on Jetstream last week, Ryoma gets hit in the face with a racket and Sakuno runs out on the field to help him, and he yells at her to get off the court. Then I saw basically the same thing happen in the first episode on TV, I forgot that had happened before.
Didn't get to see any of MAR on TV, which was disappointing, but again, it's okay since I saw it on Jetstream and I definitely think I'll get the DVDs someday, though probably not for a long time. I love Ginta because he's such a total fanboy, so that makes it extra fun to vicariously experience his adventures... fanboy channeling fanboys & girls, you know what I mean? Of course it's also a really funny and cool show and it's got cute girls....
