^ Awww. You spoiled the fun, Chibi! .....Kidding! Well, all I can say is.... Do NOT watch the anime version any further. It's very bad and I can already tell that it's bad from the first episode. (Although, the OP and ED songs for first season are good, story adaptation direction wise and animation wise, not so good.) Scrap whatever you learned from the anime and erase it from your head! I recommend you to read through the manga to understand everything. Manga is definitely better. Yes, the story is kind of slow at the beginning with the first 11 or so volumes, but those are important even if they seem kind of "fillerish". Everything does pick up and get even more interesting beyond volume 12. Lots of stuff do happen that'll make your brain fizz all the way to super combustion! ^o^ (Oh yeah, and read XXXHolic manga if you can. It really gets intertwined with Tsubasa later on....) You can find it online here (fan scanlated), but you should also support the manga by buying it if you can. ^_^ And once you get past volumes 14-16 of the manga, you can watch Tsubasa: Tokyo Revelations OVA which is made by Production I.G.. Although, not perfect, they are a better animation company than Bee Train, the company who did the Tsubasa anime. (You can even watch it on Youtube.)

^"Although not perfect"? It's soooo much better than the Bee train version! It's almost exactly like the manga version of that arc!! I love the OVA's! I'll make your day, TG. I read chapter 181 and loved it times 10! I also don't know the bond betwenn Watanuki and Syaoran, but there alot of theories being tossed around on the net. I just feel bad for Watanuki! If you read xxxHolic, you should know what I mean. My poor Watanuki! Anyways, R!Sakura wasn't "Destroyed by FWR". He said that her body and soul "Fell apart". Unless, I"m wrong and the bastard DID destroy her! tg, it's nice to see that someone else here reads the manga! ^_^

^ Ah well, for me. The OVA is pretty good. I'm just stating the "not perfect" based on other people's opinions about the hair color and some of the animation/pacing. O.o Which I never payed attention to. And I'm glad to see that there's someone here who's following along the manga too. Actually, I think this is all due to the different translations that people brought out. One translation said FWR "destroyed" R!Sakura's body. Another translation said R!Sakura's body "fell apart". A third translation says that R!Sakura's body "disappeared". Soooo, I'd just conclude that once FWR created a clone Sakura, R!Sakura's body no longer existed. Haha.. ^_^ Not necessary that he destroyed it but he is the cause of R!Sakura's body condition.
Yes, I read XXXHolic. For the Watanuki memory loss issue, I think the user, Beruthiel (from tc.net's forum), had probably the clearest explanation. Quote: "So, after pondering it some more, I'm thinking maybe Watanuki's payment wasn't just his past memories, but any memory that ties him specifically to the world he's in. I mean every memory of something or someone that doesn't have any supernatural aspect (since the supernatural has ties to another world - the Yukai keep telling Watanuki he's famous in 'their world').
When Sakura realized that she liked Syaoran before losing her memories, she instantly forgot. Perhaps a similar thing is happening to Watanuki - he can't remember normal people, only ones that have some supernatural aspect (Himawari's curse, Doumeki's powers, whatever issue Yuuko's client's had, etc). The same way, he can't remember eating 'normal' food, only 'otherworldly' foods like the Foxes' Oden.
So, for instance, if he had talked to the security clerk at the TV station (instead of making Doumeki do it), he wouldn't have been able to recall it afterwards (the problem is not that he wouldn't exist for the clerk, but that, in a sense, the clerk wouldn't exist for him)."
Beruthiel's explanation made sense. Now, all we need is the explanation for Watanuki's relationship with R!Syaoran. ^___^ With Chapitre 182 spoilers out on the net right now, it now makes sense of its connection to the very first chapter of Tsubasa! ^o^ (And more clones. Yippie.)

Yeah, I never paid attention to hair color or what-not that other's were so touchy about. I never thought about Watanuki's condition that way! It does make sense. I just hope nothing else bad happens to him. He's my fave character in Holic. Though, I hope he stops psycho-surd (aka Kohane's mom) from harming Kohane anymore! I also would like to know the connection between Watanuki and R!Syaoran. One theory is that Watanuki is R!Syaoran's father (I guess cuz he looks like Eriol from CCS). I don't like that theory. Another I read is that Watanuki is somehow R!Syaoran's brother. I'd love to know the REAL bond!

^ Yeah, they were too touchy on it. -_-; I hope so too!! I hope he does stop Kohane's mom. Maybe, Watanuki can bring some real sense to Kohane's mom? Like, make her realize that her own daughter isn't a "thing", but a "human" and to not be used as some tool to make money. Geesh. I'd give that woman a manga slap or two. >_> Ah, yeah. ^_^ I heard of all those theories too many times. I definitely don't believe in a lot of them which includes Syaoran and Sakura being Watanuki's parents. Argh! Can't believe those fans just randomly keep thinking CCS has something to do with Tsubasa/Holic as well. I'm more in favor of the realistic theory type wise of Syaoran being Watanuki's brother or relative in retrospect.

lol yeah. I really dislaiked how some people would try and link CCS with the Tsubasa/Holic world. CCS is completely different!! There was a Preview Video (only about two minutes long) that was released for OVA 3! Check it out on Youtube! tg, are you a member on a Tsubasa Forum? EDIT: I just saw the trailer for the 3rd OVA and I"m speechless. I nearly cried, it was so beautiful!

^ Yep. I'm a member of MSN Tsubasa Online Manga forum, Tsubasachronicle.net forum, and Captured Wings forum (but with less people going there now, discussion feels very one-two sentence so I'm being abset there for the time being). On TC.net, I go by Unknown Memory so you can kind of tell it's me with all those long posts. Haha. ^_^ With MSN, it's tomogirl, and on CW, it would be tg. Thanks for letting me know about the OVA 3 trailer! ^o^ *karmas* Going to check it out after this. It really is beautiful? Ooooh. And probably by now, you know chapitre 182 raw scans are out. The translations only go up to the page with Syaoran telling Fai a "thank you" for watching over Sakura. Fai says "Sakura-chan is waiting." Then, Syaoran gives the assuring "Aah." back to Fai.
I can tell you though that on page 22, Mokona says something like ".....That costume/outfit....." when he sees R!Syaoran standing there in C!Syaoran's clothing. Then Yuuko answers something about "Syaoran's costume". On page 23, Yuuko says "....Mokona." on the top frame. Mokona keeps saying "yes" in reply to Yuuko's demand of Mokona. I can only read kana so my Japanese knowledge is very very little. -_-;

I'm on Tsubasachronicle.net too! I rarely post though, mostly lurk. My user name is the same as here.
I'm waiting for the scanlation of chapter 182, but I've read the spoilers and read the thread about 182. Can't wait for the scanlation though!

^ I see. I rarely post there as well. I just lurk for most of the time too. ^_^ I post a lot more at MSN Tsubasa Online Manga site though. Chapitre 182 is posted on onemanga.com, but I think by today, you'd have seen it already. There won't be any Tsubasa for the next two weeks but two more XXXHolic chapters. Yay! ^_^ So, Kohane will be saved (hopefully). Kohane's mom will face some kind of punishment or lesson. It bugs me a little though that Watanuki could see easily without glasses. Why did he need them in the first place? Apparently, it takes CLAMP four days to work on 22 pages of a Tsubasa chapter. I assume, it must take them the same amount of days for an XXXHolic chapter.

It seems that they don't take long to produce 22 pages. I think it takes one manga-ka almost a week to make about the same length. Guess that's one of the perks of working on manga with three other people. ^_^ I DID read TRC 182! I thoght it was pretty good. I"m glad that they be starting a new storyline (sort of). Did you read about the spoilers for Holic? It seems that Kohane has something up her sleeve. She knows what her mother does to her isn't right (thanks to Watanuki). I can't wait til the mother gets what's coming to her! Even though I'm sad that for two weeks, we aren't getting TRC, but I"m happy that we're gettng xxxHoilc! Did you watch the trailer yet?

Wow, so it really does regular mangakas to do one chapter. O.o Yeah, that is the perk of working in a team. Haha. I think mangakas have to work on one-two chapters ahead of the released chapters, from what I can recall. Yep, looking forward to what the TRC gang does in Clow kingdom. Maybe we get to see something besides the main part of Clow Kingdom (Syaoran's real home)? O.o As for Holic, yep. I read the spoilers for today's new chapter. I even found the actual Japanese source for those spoilers which came with images. Wow, Kohane really looks serious in a lot of those tv screens when she speaks the truth of her telling lies to everyone. I can't wait to see everything come crashing down on her mother. Her mother definitely needs to *inserts evil sounding voice* pay. I'm happy that we're getting two new XXXHolic chapters. It's a good change after Tsubasa. It's better than when CLAMP goes on breaks without updating both series on a week basis. (Then again, CLAMP does need their breaks.) And yes, I saw the trailer immediately after you posted that it's out. ^_^ Sorry, I didn't say anything about it before. It really does look awesome.

I wonder what happened to the scans for Holic? They were supposed to be out feb. 10 (well, the RAW scans at least), and it's now feb. 12. I hope it comes out soon! Like, tomorrow!

I have no idea. O.o I've been constantly checking LadyDarkMoon's LJ to see if she posted them (since she's the source of the raws). I'm pretty worried though because that person lives in the mid-west (where all the tornadoes and snow happen). I'm worried actually for the health of that person. I hope nothing serious happened to her family/home. ;__; *cries* The least worst thing to happen would be loosing your house but still have everyone alive. That's better than everyone being dead. I'm going to post the link (http://ikesanfromfrneore.blog64.fc2.com/blog-entry-752.html) of the so far released "spoiler" scans/info on MSN's online manga Holic message board. If nothing really does show up, I might do everyone a favor by traveling to one of the two Kinokuniyas to buy Young Magazine and scan the pages in. But I'm not usually lucky in getting a recent edition of any manga phone book plus, these phone books really take up so much space! GAhhhhhh!! @__@ )

Good news!! The scanlations are up at Onemanga.com!! Whew! That splash page of Yuuko is pretty, but a little creepy. lol It made me smile. Chapter is ok, but short. Mostly about Kohane's telcast. I LOVED how she told everyone on LIVE TV that her mom told her to lie. HA! Her mom basically dug her OWN grave. I wanna see MORE Watanuki!!

Yep. I did see it at onemanga. ^_^ I know! I was grinning when she said it. Hahahaha!! I was like, yes! Kohane's mom is fried. She caught herself in a corner and can't get out. Don't worry, you'll see more Watanuki. Looking forward to the almost conclusion. That Watanuki finally gets in there and protects Kohane. Actually, I'm curious to wonder if he gets in there. It's live television right? If people see him, would they remember him? Chapter 151It wasn't only those inside the studio who became excited with the sudden bombshell. Watanuki and Doumeki start running towards the center of the uproar. Kohane exposed the result of the deplorable spirit seeing -- "Even a lie is okay, so I was told by mother to say it." What are her real intentions!? Letting out a scream, the woman breaks down crying. "Keep it that way!" is scribbled in the assistant director's sign. Furthermore, on the director's instructions, the camera is turned towards the mother. The program made a 180° turn, changing into a trial for the mother. The master spirit seer, the host, the [local] spectators, and even the televised audience harass the mother. But Kohane that the wounds she currently bears alone aren't her mother's fault. Kohane: Because my mother doesn't touch me. Master spirit seer: Doesn't touch you, you say... Then how does she raise you? Host: Is she one of those that give up caring for their children? The mother can't help coming from inside the set, giving an excuse that it's for their living. Kohane: Didn't you tell me, mother? That you'd make it so that impure things didn't touch me, that you'd make it so they didn't approach me? In that case, mother, is the reason why you won't touch me because you consider yourself not to be someone pure? With all eyes on her, the mother explodes slapping Kohane. Watanuki enters the studio. The meaning of Kohane's ending "everything" was the condemning of "everything" between her and her mother!! Can you face this tragedy, Watanuki!?
