Im 75% Yes and 25% No I signed a petition for it, but it was an internet one, they never work out This I think is fake but still, George Lucas was actually thinking of making 3 more, They seem like re written versions of 4, 5, and 6

I'm 500% no on this. this is extremely frustrating to me, because I hated the prequel trilogy for so many reasons.

No, supershadow is a fake website. I can't believe it's still around after all this time. Last time I visited that site was before Revenger of the Sith came out. But yeah, that website is fake. www.angelfire.com/crazy3/realsupershadow/

Well if there was another Star Wars movie. I have a feeling that a prequel is more likely then a sequel. Hopefully if they make another prequel it would be a completely different storyline. Seeing how most of the time, movies based on video games are the big thing now. I sense probably two prequels based upon the Knights of the Old Republic games.
I could see them making a KOTR game and the sequel to the prequel the Sith Lords. If they want to make a three one and make this a third trilogy, I am fine with that two. Also, Revenge of the Sith was the best one out of the entire new trilogy. Attack of the Clones was too 'graphic whoreish.' I like The Phantom Menace, but the pod race was way too long. Either that, or I have seen Star Wars too many times it seems like you're just sitting though them now.

I'd rather see a time jump ala Star Wars Legacy.

I'm 500% no on this. this is extremely frustrating to me, because I hated the prequel trilogy for so many reasons. Me too. It was just an attempt to make more money. The original trilogy would have been so much better by itself.

Another Purist! *exalts* I remember growing up with the originals, so when the new ones came out and I saw the first one, I was disappointed badly. Just an excuse to use computer generated special effects (note: to anyone who doesn't agree with me, this is my opinion, not stated fact)

I think Star Wars is done on the big screen. Anything else produced will always be compared to the fantastic first three movies, and will subsequently fail to deliver.
If anything comes close, it will be a different sci-fi series entirely where people will say, "You know what? I liked that almost as much as I like Star Wars." I know that might not make much sense, but it's what I was thinking as I watched the Firefly TV series. It kind of had a raw feeling like the original Star Wars trilogy.
edit: grammar.

and even if the website WASN'T fake (which it is)
star wars is done now. they should definitely leave it at that. If they go on any further it'll end up being crap like episodes 1, 2, and 3.
The original 3 stars wars (episodes 4,5, and 6) were the only good ones.

Qui Gon Jinn was awesome! Obi Wan and him are the only two good actors in the entire movies. Episode III is the better out of the three new movies.

*agrees with Arsid* While I don't deny that they had some good actors in the prequel trilogy, I still see the set as purely for the SFX, very little for the story. You can have wonderful actors that try to make the movie as good as they can, but the movie would still be bad if it's not put together well, or there's too much emphasis on something other than the feeling or story.

Most of the prequel actors were horribly wooden.

Most of the prequel actors were horribly wooden. The writing and directing was absolutely horrid. You cannot entirely blame them for their awful representations on screen. I do agree, but it's not entirely their fault. Please note that we have discussed the prequels ad nauseaum in the other Star Wars threads that live on DH, and it's not really the focus of this thread.

Not sure if this is exactly the thread for it, but George Lucas has said that he will continue Star Wars... but on the small screen. There are pretty big rumblings about a TV series or miniseries in the near future. Lemme see if I can dig up the info somewhere... Ah ok! Here it is - and it's going to be live-action. No animation like "Clone Wars." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Wars_live-action_TV_seriesShould be interesting, if it gets off the ground. It's supposed to take place in the 19 or so years between "Revenge of the Sith" and "A New Hope" (which will always be just "Star Wars" to me, regardless of what Lucas says).
