Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince I admit that I have not read the book. I only read the first 4 actually and stopped after that. Anyways, the 6th installment of Harry Potter will not be coming out for a while. It is scheduled for a US and UK release on 21 November 2008. By then, I will be in my senior year of high school. Wow, what a wait? The goods news is that Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson, who have portrayed Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger, respectively, for the first five films, will all return for this installment as well as the seventh. In addition, David Yates, the director of the Order of the Phoenix will return as director for the film. You can find out more about the 6th installment of Harry Potter at this link. Isn't it a bit early to make this thread? Nothing is too early for Harry Potter. Besides, the release date is known so I don't see any reason not to.

Yeah, an their auditioning for Lavender and Tom Riddle (cuz the one that played Tom in the 2nd movie is too old). I think they already got an 11 yr old for young Tom Riddle.
Sorry, if it got too spoilery. But READ THE 6TH BOOK!!! It's good!!

I read the book and I know that the movie is going to suck compared to the book.

Seeing as the book had a whopping 100 pages of relevant content, and the rest was shipping and angst, I might sit this one out.

It's stupid if you let a movie ruin a book for you.

^ I agree. It will be exciting seeing this movie, hopefully they'll fill the viewers in on the big chunks they left out of the other movies. I liked The Order of the Phoenix, hopefully this movie will be of the same quality or better. ^^ EDIT: I'm Iroh now.
