So, the question is, what movie is sooooooooo over-rated that every source of media uses either its music or themes in their parodies? I choose Star Wars. There are so many dang parodies of that it lost all meaning. Yeah, yeah. I know I couldn't list every single popular flix known to man. That's all I could remember at the time. Just list them if they ain't on the list.

Lord of the Rings, the Clint Mansell "Requiem for a Dream" from two towers is used EVERYWHERE these days...
I even saw it on a NFL commercial and a machinima....
comon people, spend money on your own composer.

That's been around from before Lord of the Rings. -_- Besides, you've seen it in a machinima and a commercial. WOW. THAT'S A LOT

The Men in black music is EVERYWHERE. Seriously, it even appeared in my school's band routine a while back. Performed badly, of course.

Oh, there are so many. The whole "I see dead people..." from the Sixth Sense is extremely overused in my opinion, so I chose "Other".

I love the original Star Wars to death, but there are so many parodies of it, some unsuspecting kid might not even recognize the real thing.

I'd say the theme from A Fistful of Dollars
You know that Western showdown music.

^Oh that's what that theme is called. I wanna know that other catchy western score that they're always playing on ranch dressing and barbecue sauce commercials. XD
Though I don't think it's from a movie...

THe music from Shindlers list and gladiator is always used in sad stuff and charity adverts as well as adagio for strings and music for a BBC documentary about the holocaust.
It makes sense to use it in charity adverts but ive seen them use it in 'the x factor' when they start the sop stories about how their mum woudnt let them get a puppy or something.
It sckens me how they use the sadest music on the planet for such trival matters when they are pretty much the theme of the holocaust
