Oh man, I want to see Titanic in 3D! ;__; I'm glad to hear that the effects were done well. I remember seeing that movie with all of my friends when we were twelve. Sat in the front row, and screamed like crazy. XD Good times! (except for everyone that sat behind us, lol.) Last movie I saw was J. Edgar. ...I fell asleep.

It was a little independent movie called Everyman's War. I don't really watch many indie movies, but this one was quite wonderful.

Just got home from The Avengers and it was AWESOME!
Won't spoil 'cos I know we actually beat the US in getting this...for once...but I will say, the big battle scene was a little hard to watch. So much going on I didn't know where to look.

Ahh! What? Congrats! So happy to hear that the movie is living up to the hype. I have full faith in Joss Whedon, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little nervous. I can't wait to see it. I'm guessing I may have a problem with that big battle scene as well where-to-look-wise, but hopefully a couple viewings will help sort it all out.
I recently saw Mission: Impossible 4: Ghost Protocol; it was nice but I liked the third movie better. It was fun seeing Jeremy Renner in it though -- like a little preview of how he might be as Hawkeye in Avengers. ^^ I should look into his other movies too.

Bridesmaids I've probably seen this movie like 11 times, three of which were in the theaters. The way I see it, it is the girl version of the Hangover, only everyone still loves it! If you haven't seen it yet, and need a good laugh: THIS MOVIE!

Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol.
It was the Tom Cruise extravaganza that I was expecting, not that I was not appeased or didn't enjoy it, just thought it was funny to see all the usual stereotypes of Cruise's movies come true once again, namely his penchant for having countless scenes of him running full speed throughout, no matter how old he gets. The story was well done, if not already done many times over, but great acting and the always entertaining set of spy gadgets redeems it the most. If you love spy movies with great girl fights and cool futuristic cars and places, this is the film for you.

Watched Snow White & the Huntsman, I thought it was a great take on the classic, Charlize Theron was excellent as the evil queen, she in my opinion really saves the movie when it gets too predictable, dry and sentimental. Couldn't have made a better choice. The
The special effects are especially well done, most notably the enchanted forest and the glass army, both look both frightening and fascinatingly beautiful at the same time.
I do recommend everyone to go see this, Theron's performance alone is well worth your time. Not that any of the other actors did not do well, but I thought Stewart's acting was a bit uninspiring, Hemsworth simply channels his inner Thor in most scenes and it gets old quickly, and the supporting actors crumble the thin foundation Theron is able to build in the first 30-40 minutes of the feature.

The Dark Knight Rises 9/10
I would would definitely recommend this movie to those of you who have seen any of the series. They pull from both and the ending is quite satisfying. I don't want to write much because it is so new, but there were even parts that I was choked up.

The Campaign 8/10
Hilarious movie especially with it being an election year. It's hard to go wrong with Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis in the same movie honestly.

Wreck-It Ralph 9/10
This was such a good movie! The Paperman animated short before it was really sweet as well. I docked a point from the movie score because there were two scenes that were supposed to be low-brow funny but they were dragged out for way too long. Seriously, if they were 30 seconds shorter it would've been fine, but no. Aside from that though, really good writing, voice acting, and emoting, and the graphics are beautiful. Nice soundtrack too, and the video game backdrop and character cameos are great without being gimmicky. It honestly feels like a functioning world. It's funny, it made me cry a few times, I want to see it again.
I saw it in 3D, the 3D was definitely not worth it, but I'm still glad I paid the extra few dollars 'cause it meant I could see it before the kids got out of school. xD; So YMMV on that one. It's definitely worth seeing on the big screen though. Everything looks so pretty. *_*

Argo 9/10
My friend chose this movie and I wasn't really sure at first, but it turned out to be a great movie. Very suspenseful, I was on the edge of my seat most of the movie. I like movies that are based on true stories, so that was neat. I would definitely recommend it.

Rise of the Guardians...inspired me to read the books it was inspired by...and it's nice to see an Australian character voiced by an Australian.
