I just got the first two Saw films on DVD this week and I am hocked on them, really amazing films. Leigh Whannell and James Wan are true geniuses for coming up with these films, plus Leigh does a amazing job of playing Adam. I must say I did not like the second as good as the first (think it could have something to do with the very hot Adam not been in it ;D), I have not been able to see the third yet as it is just come out over here. So is anyone else a fan of these films and of their amazing creators? Oh and don't you just love the reverse bear trap !!!!

I've only seen the second one, it was very interesting. Funny how the lady gets her wrists cut by that box, even though the key to opening it is on the outside.

^Lmao yes I liked that trap, if she had only looked up she would of seen the key, her only thought was to get the syringe , if she had just played the page as she was told to it would never had happened .

I've seen the first two, but I want to see the third one. I'll have to wait for it to come out on DVD.
My favorite was the second movie. I just liked how there were so many people in "the game" and how whenever you thought you had figured it out, something happened to make it completely different.
My favorite part in the first movie was at the end when Jigsaw was really the "dead" guy on the floor. I just didn't expect that. I would so die if I was in one of those games. I just don't think like that. ><
Someone prank called me the other day and the first thing they said was "Do you want to play a game?" I thought "Man that is so lame." That line has been used so many times. ><

^ yes I also loved when Jigsaw got up off the ground and spoke to Adam, the look on Adam's face, poor thing, I wanted to hug him sooooo much!!! The first one had me on the edge of my seat the whole time I was watching it, Jigsaw is just so smart, one of the best movie villains (or so I think). BTW don't know how many of you have seen this but I was soooo excited to find it. It is the short film that was used to pitch the idea of Saw. It is just as good as the films themselves and has the same creepy felling to it as well. SAW - The Original Short FilmCool but freaky fact about the short film. The Reverse Bear Trap was real in short film, it was made by a friend of Leigh and James', it was in full working order. Everything about it was real from the rust on it to its ability to pull someone head apart, it was really attached to Leigh's head and he had to be very careful with it so he would not harm himself.

^Lmao yes I laughed at that guy as well, trying to act like the big tough guy, only to be the first to die . I watched the third yesterday online, really cool, almost as good as the first, I am loving the new death traps, they are just getting better and better with each film ;D.

I'm going to have to see the third one with some of my friends.
I saw the first two by myself. In my room. At night. Scared the crap out of me.

alpacas4eva: The third rocks soooooo much, very nasty!!!!! The game gets VERY good @ Sei: Like I said to bowman, these films are not for the faint hearted only if you really like horror films can don't mind the sight of blood are these films for you. @ Gacs: Yes I have sat there and wondered how I would do if I was in the game, I have though that as long as you follow the rules you will get out alive but make just one small mistake and you will be dead!!!

Oh man I can't sit through a saw movie without getting dizzy. I swear whenever I see people get tortured in movies, my world gets turned upside down.

Yup they die because they don't follow the rules and change who they are, see with the first Adam and Lawrence played the game the hole way through and would of lived if it was not for one small thing each. - Lawrence panicked and cut his foot off, by doing that he killed himself from blood-loss.
- Adam would have got out alive if he had not of let the key down the drain, in doing so could not unlock himself.
If they had not of done these thing they would have both lived, see with the cops son in the second he stuck with Amanda, just as she had planed and played the game right, so he lived, just like Amanda herself did in the first film. Thats what i love about these films, they make you think, would you be willing to do everything and anything to get out alive, become a whole new person or will you just stay the way you are and end up dead .

just watched Saw on YouTube. Great movie. I don't see how everyone's all "Zomg, Gore and scareh", it was more of a thinker than anything. I think the slashers of the late 70's all the way to the 90's were scarier.

^ Yes the older horror films are the best. Leigh and James made the first Saw film as a tribute to the horror films of the 70's-80's, that is one of the reasons why these film are so popular...hehe. I also do not see why everyone is going on about how violent these films are, there have been many films that have the gore just as bad (But I don't think any of them are as good ).
