I'll date w/e race. Skin color shouldn't matter. It's the person in the skin that should be looked at. After all, it's not the flesh you're dating.

Yes, I do find myself dating someone outside my race. Everyone is an equal to me and it's what they've got in the inside that counts.

Considering I try to be open-minded about other cultures and races, it wouldn't both me. And also considering we live in America (most of us here) dating someone out of your race is highly likely, especially for me, who is Native American. So of course, I'd say yes.

I have no problem with it. I look for the personality, the heart and looks in a girl. And the heart and personality will come first.

Maybe it's because I haven't dated but I can;t imagine myself in a relationship with someone of a different race. My whole family is chinese and although my aunts date outside our race, I can't imagine that for myself.

I not only dated outside my race, I married outside my race! I fell in love with my husband for the person he was on the inside, not on the outside. Ah, geek love - it's so awesome to find another who's just as dorky/cool as you. Seriously though, we're fortunate that we haven't run into any problems from either side of the family (but since I'm multi-ethnic myself, I wouldn't have imagined my folks would have brought it up, since I could shoot back, "Well *you* guys did it..."). I think my husband's grandmother maybe brought it up once that we weren't the same race, but I think that was just out of concern for possible cultural differences. But I love learning about new cultures and traditions and embrace them when I can, so that hasn't been a problem for us. 'Sides, we're united in our geekdom. It doesn't matter that we're not the same race.

^Which is why I totally promote interracial dating/marriage. If people started marrying more and more outside their race, it would help reduce bigotry and racism. Not to mention it diversifies the gene pool.

Being Asian (Chinese to be specific), there's an "unspoken hierarchy" of races to be dated--my mother, for example, has already set the stereotypes/limits for each race. I'm not going to elaborate here because I don't want to offend anyone. XD Basically, my dad wants me to stay within the Chinese pool, while my mom is okay with me dating White people as well. I, personally, don't really see myself dating anyone who's not Asian or White... but who knows :B

Many parents are actually like that but I think it does not matter what race you date as long as you like the person.
