Yeah basically. Dictionary.com defines "deceive" as: to mislead by a false appearance or statement; delude. To mislead or falsely persuade others; practice deceit.

I thought they might take him to hang with Arnook...but with the fall of Ba Sing Se the North Pole is the only real stronghold left...it's entirely possible that Ozai will be concentrating his efforts there. Maybe they'll take him to meet Gran Gran, but that's a long way to go. Drop him off with Guru Pathik?

I'm going to guess that the king will be dropped off at a military post of some kind (Possibly Fong's base?). The EK is very decentralized, and seems to be more a chain of allied city-states than one single country. Even though Ba Sing Se was taken, it's likely that there are still other cities holding out that could take the king, and possibly aid Aang&Co. I think that the defeat of Ba Sing Se is probably more of a symbolic victory; it's like killing the general of an army. Sure, the soldiers can still fight and could possibly win, but they're leaderless. And the defeat of BSS also showed the might of the FN in breaking through the wall (Okay, they didn't really, but you know what I mean). It's demoralizing.

^Don't forget, BSS was also a safe haven from the FN for common folk as well. With BSS taken down there is literally no place left for people to get away from the FN. From all sides, the EK doesn't have much hope left.

They are gorgeous! Only crit is that in the last one, Song's sleeves end in cuffs that match the color of the ribbon. It's a bit more orange than coral, but that's not really an issue--wonder what to name it...=o

Would 'Close Company' work ok? I'm sleepy...XD

Actually while I was painting I wondered if I should paint in her cuffs but I decided not to in case it looked bad/weird. Though I'm not sure where you're getting color from as I only used orange and red-orange to shade her collar/skirt. Coral is like a pinky-orange.

And 'Close Company is perfect. I'm so bad at titling things. ;

Aqua--I did a color match with rit-dye.com--Song's outfit is closer to coral than any other color. Sea Coral (pink) is the closest match to be exact. I used a cleaned up high res. image to do the match so I could figure out what to do with my cosplay. X__X

Nandi--I think we've made passing comments on that before, but you may not have been around for them. Think Zuko's got an oedipal complex too? ;D Song is rather uncanny in her similarity to Ursa.

No...I haven't been coming in here very long...this and the Zujin threads are the only ones I venture into...I'm not big into Zutara, and we all must know by now how I feel about Maiko...I'm just gathering intelligence for when Song arrives in my fanfic...

@inu: Hmmm... I actually had always thought that her hanbok was the color of the skin of peaches (as in the fruit, no reffrence to skin tone) since it's always looked more orangey then pinky. (I have a love-hate relationship with coral, as it's apparently the color I look best in, but it's always been to bright for my liking. )

@nandi: It's something I noticed awhile back that of all the girls in ATLA, Song's closest to Ursa's temperment and personality. Katara and Yue make pretty close seconds but Katara's got a short fuse and Yue's dead and never met Zuko really (though in my head I would like for her to meet him as the Moon Spirit... just cus) so, yeah. More and more Zuko's reminding me of Ichigo from Bleach as they both have mommy issues, both have daddies who beat them up (though Isshin really does do it out of love) and both have a tendancy to make otherwise happy people emo (Orihime for Ichigo, Song and Jin for Zuko.) Gah! My fandom is leaking into everything. ;

It's a cute fic. I didn't even know that anyone was writing Zue... though the scenario in my head is a little different, but close enough.

Bleach is a manga/anime about a 15-year-old mama's boy who wants to protect his friends and family. There's big swords, muscley guys and chicks with giagantic breasts. It's a great series, even if it has a huge cast.

I've heard of it...I've just never seen it...it's not on TV down here. There are DVDs available for purchase, but I'm not going to buy something sight unseen...

I've actually drawn a Soko pic for my other fic...even though I'm not up to the part where Song comes in...I'd share the sketch but I'm still having bandwidth problems...
