I don't often come into the relationships forums...being a non-shipper and all...but I'm waiting for my iPod to charge so I came in to check out the fanart (anything involving Zuko is pretty much fine by this little Zuko fangirl)...there's some nice stuff in here...and an awful lot of it considering how much screentime these two shared.

How did you do that? Did you sew all of it, or modify a skirt? Either way, it's awesome. I think the pink looks fine. It's all hand made. X_____x |

It's all hand made. X_____x WHAT. The only reason why I don't sew is because access to the sewing machine is null (my mother likes to pile her clothes over it) and I can never remember how to change the bobbin. Hand sewing is hard and I personally lack the patience. HAY NOW. Did we get new emotes?  |

It's all hand made. X_____x You have skillz, yo. I tried to make a mini Song dress. Did not work. And yes, we have new emotes, because I wanted to add more emotes and everybody else thought I wanted to have just new emotes but not more of them...and yes. |

Ahh, no no no! I'm sorry, I misphrased it--I haven't hand-sewn a cosplay since Sailor Mars (that nearly killed me)--no, fortunately I have access to a friend's machine right now. By hand-made, I meant that I imagined a pattern, assembled and sewed the dang thing together. I used elastic to get that gathered look, then sewed a separate band between that and the top portion. Thanks for the compliments though--I'm thinking I need to look for peach rit-dye or something.

Oh, I have to admit, I'm being lazy with my fanart--I have two Song X Gaang fanarts that I haven't finished yet. ;-; Backgrounds kill me.

lol, artist blocks are teh suck. Does anyone have any experience with Rit Dye? I think I found the color I want: www.ritdye.com/Create+Custom+Color.9.lasso <--check out 'sea coral (pink)'--I think that's almost an exact match. Now with an already pink hanbok, I get the feeling I'm going to have to reduce the amount of rose pink dye and make plenty of test scraps of the extra fabric.  |

Wow. I can't believe it's been over a year since the ship was established. Kinda scary, but awesome and overwhelming at the same time! May season 3 bring us an anticipated reunion and many more ATLA or Sokoish coolness to come! Edit: Gamb, very nice fanmix! I love "Sessions", because I love violin. And "Wake Me" is too fitting. xD |
