I'm a girl, and ship Zutara because Zuko needs some sympathy, and Katara would be great in giving it to him. And actually, I think I recall at least one page in our past war rooms/hot springs where I was the only girl present at the moment. 0.o Is there a place for clubs or anything, because if there is, I'm not aware of it. Probably the general board, but the reception of shippers there is lukewarm. heh Actually, I tend to think of shipping rooms as "clubs." On another forum that I joined (related to a game, not Avatar) there were Clans, though they had nothing to do with the game or the rest of the forum whatsoever. |

Hey coqi, make sure you use the "modify" button on the upper right hand corner of your posts to edit just so you don't double post  There may be more female Zutaraians, but how many girls are against Zutara? Me, any more? Would you like to find out? I could make a poll. But if that poll is made, we would have to do the same for Kataang. Just to be fair. I'm a girl. I ship Zutara. I agree with Jinfan, when I saw the name of this spread I already knew the answer. Boys tend to ship the other one  |

I think they watch Avatar for the story solely and not the romance. I know guys who watch Avatar and they look at me weirdly if I mention shipping. Whoo, I remember this topic. I couldn't vote cuz I ship Kataang. But I agree, most guys ship Kataang or they don't ship anything at all. Some of the best Kataangers out there are guys - like my bro, Power.

Well considering this is restricted to DH, I highly doubt this is an accurate accumulation of the facts. It could be true that more girls ship, but that's also unclear. And I think I'm accurate to assume there is also more female on this forum xD

The majority of DH members are female. Girls also have a higher percentage of shippers. So they would be in the vast majority no matter what.

ya... i dont think thats right...
anyways, i went through, and only counted 5 male zutarans that posted... at least two of which support the ship because the identified themselves as taang.
... although some may have voted and not posted, it looks like some female zutarans may have voted, saying they are male, just to skew the numbers...
as few the male zutarans are, most seem to ship it because of beliefs in age differences... which become null and void once everyone ages a couple of years. i only know of one male zutaran who ships it solely baised on personality... but im sure there are more then just him.
i also think old polls like these should be redone to reflect the happenings of S3.
anyways, i used to be of the zutara flag, but switched over to kataang once i started thinking of the relationships compatibility in a long-term sense.
and ya, there are alot more male shippers then some seem to think... most of them hang under kataang... or azuki.
