Firstly, why do think Toph has a crush on Sokka? Secondly, were you actually excepting some Soph before the huge spoiler review?
As for my answers: I think Toph has a crush on because Sokka is well...Sokka and the Gaang are the only people Toph has really interacted so she wouldn't have the opportunity to crush or to know anyone else. Secondly, I wasn't really excepting Toph/Sokka. I mean I knew it had a pretty fair chance with Sokka being the one out of Gaang who doesn't treat Toph like she's blind and Toph always signaling Sokka out and bullying him which gave the feel (at least IMO) of a kiddie crush. But I didn't really think it would have actual canon hints but I also thought if it did I wouldn't be that surprised. Which, I'm not really.

Um, yeah. Look everyone has different opinions, some people like Sokka/Toph and some people don't. However, just because you don't doesn't mean you have to come here and tell us that our opinions are wrong.

AND MEAN COMMON PPL!!! who in the halibut would have a krush on SOKKA?! other than yue and that other chick T-T. TOPH IS...what...12/13?!??!? SOKKAS LIKE 14/15! AND HE TENDS TO GO FOR THE "OLDER" GIRLS ANYWAYYZZZ!!!! seriously ppl, think it through a bit more. can u REALLY c sokka or toph KISSING or HUGGING each other. ockward momeeent. That right there is considered trolling, killer kunoichi, and only leads to fights and bannings, especially posting it in a war room no less. War rooms were created for each shipping group to peacefully hang out with each another and discuss their ship. Please don't go into a war room and bash a ship like you just did. Also, if you disagree with something, more valid reasons and examples presented in a much calmer manner in the correct time and place would be very much so appreciated. |

I mean, I'm 13 (14 in like...four months) and I've got a crush on a guy I know thats like, 16. So maybe the age different is a bit much, but I can definitely see where Toph is coming from on this. As for who would have a crush on Sokka, lets think about it, a LOT of girls do on the show. Suki, Yue, Ty Lee  I'm not surprised Toph does...and so yeah, maybe Toph's not my top pic in a girl who'd fall for someone, but underneath that rocky exterior (no pun intended) theres definitely an actual person there who gets crushes on people. Believe me, I speak from experience here. |

Our ship may be small, but it can grow in time!! Hope is rising for us Soph, don't loose hope ;D!! Yes! After this our sailboat (that has a few leaks in it) will megamorph into a proper ship. (compleat with canon balls, life rafts, and mini fridge!) As for Anastasia's question: yes, I was expecting Soph to happen way before the spoinery review. I was disapinted with Bitter Work but soon regain faith after FotA. And now this~ <3 Oh, and btw, my friend and I started a Soph community on LJ if anyone is intrested. ;]

I totally hope this sihp happens!!! Toph is a totally cool person and so is sokka so they would go great together!! Lol I know thats a bad reason but still I totally hope there is a lot of soph in future episodes!!!

We are going to need those canon balls though. Just when when our ship is actually becoming a ship we are rushed into battle. Oh and btw, I'm now watching the community on LJ. I wouldn't think that Sokka would like Toph too much.. but considering the way Toph treats Sokka (you know, how she teases him a lot... I guess it was possible for her to like him. Considering that the show declines aang of liking any other girl but Katara, its figures how he wouldn't like Toph that way. And so, who does she have in the group to like? Sokka. ^^
Well, I was thinking about it beforehand and liked the pairing, but I wasn't sure how it would do exactly. I guess its a bit unexpected even though I like the couple, but its just that toph is so independent and stuff...
