Matrik: LoL I adore it! It reminds me of MsJimmy's music video Azula vs. Suki for Sokka's heart. Quick question: Do you think Azula could betray her father for love? Would she betray Ozai for love? A lot of people may disagree, but Azula seems to really see her father up there you know? (If not, I'm gonna have to look up that post....where I posted most of her quotes of him.) I'm kinda thinking of writing a fic, and I need some opinions on that.

matrik, ROFL! I love it, but it kind of makes me feel guilty cause I like Suki -shot- Maylene, I don't know, it's hard to tell with Azula. She looks up to Ozai a lot, no doubt about it, but if she would betray him for love...it's like asking if Mai would betray Azula for Zuko. >< Omg, daydream-chan, if you're on, you had so better take a look at this. Now don't tell me that isn't freaky cause we were just talking about it the other day...o__O |

Oh, I forgot to share this. Analesia offered to ramble 100 words about any character or ship on her LJ, so I asked her to do about Sokkla. Here's what she said,
Aside from her words speaking such truth, she brings up some interesting points. Both Sokka and Azula had failed romances. You guys think it'd give them something to talk about?

DO you guys think Sokka would actually give Azula a chance? I mean, he's a bit of a racist. We've already discussed this earlier. Sokka has no say in thie matter. If Azula likes him, then Azula will have him. Do you think she would take no for an answer? |

Grandmaster: That's why I say that Sokkla would be the Avatarverse's version of "Pride and Prejudice."
I believe Sokka could place aside his prejudice, he had no qualms about flirting with Ty Lee and he's slowly learning that not all Fire Nation people are bad--like Roku and Piandao. So I'm sure he would eventually give in...as for Azula, she's no Aida (I want so badly to see that play) but once she realizes how strong Sokka is considering he's not a bender, I think she would learn to respect him.
In fanfiction, I usually see Sokka and Azula's relationship as starting out as bickering enemies who are forced to work together and they hate each other; that hate becomes understanding they learn to confide in each other; and that may turn to love. Sorta like a Dramione fic but slower, since Sokka and Azula really are stubborn.

In fanfiction he will! >=D How would you guys go about writing that? I don't think neither character would need to be out of character for it to work. Uh...wait, you're saying that they would need to be OOC or they wouldn't? Because it's possible to keep them perfectly IC. Did you ever read Bits and Pieces? That does a beautiful job of keeping them IC, while having them fall for each other at the same time, despite the great differences and prejudices between them. Also, Sokka, I think, is starting to slowly see the Fire Nation as more human and realize that not all of them are evil psycos. Besides, he already showed that he doesn't mind Ty Lee, he shamelessly flirted with her in "The Drill". Besides, I think that's what would initially capture Azula's interest in him. She likes guys who play "hard to get". XD EDIT: Ah, sorry Maylene, didn't mean to completely copy what you were saying >< Matrik, that is really...sad. A little OOC too. I can't see Sokka still talking to her like nothing happened, after she killed his wife. I see him more like arranging her execution. |

As for arranging her execution, that totally made me laugh. XD
Matrik: You know, if you feel up to it, you can also make sigs for the prompts. You know how ppl write fics and they have fanarts to go with it? It could be something like that too, with you. I don't know, just a suggestion since you're really great at making sigs, and Envy's really inspirational right now for me.
