No Rp: Here it is and hopefully I'll see you guys tomorrow. Oh and congrats on becoming Yue, Lun.
Zuko was talking to Katara while Jet watched in indignation. “I heard I have to fight him next,” he told Smellerbee. “He is going down.”
Smellerbee was too preoccupied at Longshot’s victory to even listen to all of what Jet was saying. She ran off to go congratulate her friend. Jet folded his arms. “Wow, thanks for the support.”
Bumi, after having his money talk with Lunauc, came to the arena. Everyone was too busy congratulating Longshot that he felt the need to do the earthquake moves again. Everyone froze. He was satisfied that they finally stopped but he decided to take the rest out on Longshot.
“You!” he pointed out at him. “Take your girlfriend and get off the ring!”
“I’m not his-” Smellerbee shouted, but Longshot covered her mouth and had to drag her away.
Bumi stood tall as if he triumphed in battle. “Next up…..ZUKO VS. JET!!!!!!”
The crowd screamed, especially every fan girl inside the Earth Rumble. Zuko looked up and smirked.
“Wish him luck,” Zuko said arrogantly, “he’s gonna need it.”
Katara shifted her eyes. “Uh……sure.”
He strutted over to the center arena and waited for his opponent to arrive. The fan girls were chanting repeatedly, “Zuko! Zuko! Zuko! Zuko!”
Jet snorted and walked up. Now there was a mixture of chanting. Some were for Jet. Others were for Zuko and the rest was for both. Jet smirked.
“Ready to lose?” he asked Zuko.
Zuko narrowed his eyes. “No, are you? Because I don’t need fire bending to whoop your carcass.”
Jet smiled smugly. “We’ll see about that.”
“Taiyo!” Bumi called. “Your turn to ring the gong!”
She ran past Toph and Aang and arrived in front of the gong. She picked up the stick and rung it. “BEGIN!” she screamed.
Zuko swung out his swords. Jet was already lunging for him. Zuko ran for him too and their swords met. They withdrew from each other, allowing Zuko to make the first move. He swung his sword in a fashion that screamed “Strike to kill”. Jet blocked the blow with one of his hook swords. This caused them to withdrawal again and Jet sliced at Zuko’s hands. A tiny bit of blood dripped. Jet grinned.
“Funny,” he commented. “You didn’t bleed the last time we fought.”
Zuko ignored the cut and his comment. He ran for Jet, who waited for him to come this time. Zuko screamed as he swung his left sword. Jet backed away but had to quickly dodge Zuko’s other blade, which was coming down vertically. Again, Jet was distracted by the second attack. It gave Zuko time to injure his arm. Jet screamed and backed away, holding his injury. Blood seeped through his fingers. Jet looked up with malice in his eyes.
“Now, it’s really personal,” he said through gritting teeth.
Not so smartly, he threw one of his hook swords at the Fire Prince. Zuko fell back, swiftly dodging it and he threw one of his swords to the side. “Now we’re even.”
Jet grudgingly nodded and resumed lunging for him. Zuko ran for him again as well and their swords clashed. They withdrew and clashed again. At this rate, they weren’t going to get nowhere. The second time they withdrew, Zuko turned one eighty and knocked Jet’s sword out of his hand with his own sword. Jet was about to run for it but it fell off the stage. Jet was frozen.
He looked back to see Zuko prepared to discard his sword. Jet held up his hand. “No,” he said. “I’m no good without my weapons. You win this match.”
Zuko showed no emotion to that statement and placed his sword back into his sheath. Bumi came to Zuko and raised his arm. “Winner…..ZUKO!!!!!”
Taiyo snuck around Bumi, who wasn’t too happy that she yelled begin, and walked over to Jet’s side. “You want me to get you to the medics?”
Jet shrugged. “Sure.”
He stood up and Taiyo walked out with him. “Let’s hurry up though. Bumi’s already gonna give me a lecture when his focus is off Zuko.”
