I know exactly who wrote that comment! The one that Ana posted a page back to start the discussion? Ohh, I see I see. No! This is good for discussion, I just should've posted what I believed in a different manner, instead of one that may look like it could lead to bashing comments. Alrighty, let's wait for her then I guess. :3

I wouldn't say it'd end in catastrophe, maybe NOW it would but if this was much later on then I don't think it would. If Kataang wasn't set in stone (which IMO, I believe it is. Anyone's free to disagree), and Zutara had more moments then okay but they don't. What I mean is this: Katara is motivated, kind, encouraging, quick-tempered, and possessive. Zuko is quick-tempered, motivated, impatient, and hard-working. That's basically my opinion. Now, if we took two quick-tempered people and placed them together, their fights would be dirty and full of shouting. 'Tis true. However, I'm not saying that Kataang would be the perfect relationship as well. I view Aang as a very free, romantic person, and, seeing that Katara is possessive, she would restrain him, and, dare I say it, Aang might even end up doing the extreme: having an affair. My personal opinion. ;D

power: Yup. I know exactly who too. @mashy: That's true. From their personalities alike, they'd probably clash a lot. Well, Kataang vs Zutara via personality, IMO, you can't really compare the two because Katara and Aang had the pleasure of getting to know each other, whereas Zuko and Katara haven't. Haha, I wouldn't mind going with you. The problem is that I'm not even sure if I will go to the dance.

Besides, so far, we haven't really seen Aang feeling smothered by Katara, so it's really just thinking ahead, y'know? A "what if?" kind of attitude.

This was posted on another site, a user wrote this to counter and argument about Kataang not being Yin Yang:
No Yin and Yang? Yin and Yang are not enemies, on opposite sides of a war. Yin and Yang are push and pull, moving together like two dancers, or the moon and the ocean spirits. Aang is enthusiasm, Katara is comfort. Aang is straightforward, Katara is subtle. Aang is bold, Katara is cautious. Aang is a gentle boy, Katara is a feisty girl. Aang is openminded, Katara less tolerant of nonsense. Aang reminds Katara of the joys of childhood, Katara shows Aang the joys of maturity.
Each will always immediately defend the other against anything else, big or small, trivial or deadly. And somehow whenever one does the other any wrong, apology and understanding always follow.

Yin and Yang isn't just about balancing personalities, it's like marriage: making two people one. *is le shot for corn* x.x

Yin and Yang aren't opposites attract, it's having a balance. And like mashy said, it's just like marriage, bringing two people into become one whole.

Alrighty, let's wait for her then I guess. :3 Ohh, okay then. While we are waiting let’s..uh..move to a different topic. I really liked Power’s “Kataang = Yin/Yang” statement. Yin and Yang isn’t about opposites attract but having a balance which Aang and Katara have. Aang is fun loving and teaches Katara to have fun, Katara is rather serious and keeps Aang grounded, and so on. Like mashy and Aang said, it's just like marriage, bringing two people into become one whole.

I liked what you said earlier about Feng Shui, I hardly know anything about it but it seems to compliment Kataang...or something like that.

Exactly. Aang is fun loving, and he teaches Katara to have fun. Whereas Katara keeps Aang grounded. Like I've said before, and many have said as well, Katara is Aang's pillar of strength. Aang is Katara's hope personified. Although they have different qualities, they have qualities that they both share that bring balance to their relationship. @frozen: Yeah, I like the Feng Shui statement too. The Wind/Water which Feng Shui basically means, also helps with Kataang discussions too.
