We all know how playing hard to get backfires. How does it backfire? Do you mean, like, if you're playing hard-to-get, and the person dies in a car accident or something, so you regret playing hard-to-get because you think of what could have been? Well, that and the fact that although the object of hard-to-get is to tease the person into liking you more, it sometimes ends up in the person loosing interest. That' why I never use that method. That and no one has ever liked me like that. At least that I'd want to persue.

Yeah, dudes, like that. Not that playing hard to get is a bad thing, because it's my favorite game, but people shouldn't go overboard when the time has come to be real. The worst part about it is is that the other person, if taken to far, ends up thinking that you're simply not interested and/or a tease. The latter is far worse than the former, I assure you. What kind of clue? I doesn't know what happened between Aang and the Guru, so for all she knows, he could have done it simply because he had to. Without the details of "had".

I called my crush a dirty tease once, but I was joking and she knew it. I wasn't referring to the Guru scene. I always thought, although nothing was actually said, that the end of CoD was sorta a revelation moment for Katara. I have nothing to back it up though.

Interesting theory, though. Yup, I'll give you your props on that one. Revelation on "Wow, I have best friend in my arms. He's been fried crispy by Miss Maniac and I nearly lost him. Crap." Kinda like that. My cousin calls her Miss Maniac, and only watches Avatar when Azula is in it.

If he ever does call her that, it'd be to the Aang gang, like when Sokka called Azula, Ty Lee, and Mai "dangerous ladies" in "The Chase."

I really think COD was a big wake-up call for Katara. After all, you don't know what you have until it's gone, and without that healing water, Aang could've remained dead.

I was always partial to calling them Ozai's Angels, but I don't think we'll see that in the show....How about Ozai's Kunoichi?

How about Ozai's Kunoichi? What does "kunoichi" mean? Something in Japanese or Chinese?

Basically told her to get her priorities straight.

Kataang has been more body language than anything else thus far, because of the many times Katara kissed him, hugged him, her staring in awe at him in the fortuneteller, and her saving him from the iceberg and saving him from azula's fatal wound. Not to mention all of the blushing. I'm not gonna post screencaps cuz I'd be here all night finding every one.
Katara kind of knew what Aang was going to say in my opinion, but she got annoyed at Sokka's immature interuption.
The only moment one of them actually showed their feelings was Katara's suggestion that they kiss. Surprisingly, this so called "one sided crush" isn't so one sided. Katara has indirectly told Aang how she feels, but Aang has not. We need a confession from Aang =)

There's nothing 'motherly' about any of their interaction.
