See Zutarians think that Zuko will be the way for Zutara to happen, but I'm of the mind that Zuko could be the catalyst for Kataang to happen. Katara realizes that what she has wanted has been with her all along.

I would say that the two Water Tribe members would be the most wary of Zuko, should he join them. After all, Toph has never met him and Aang seems to be the most forgiving and willing to befriend out of the group. I don't expect that things will be easy in the group if he joins. I don't know how Katara will react, but if it's anything like the Zutarians fancy it will be, then at least I'll have the pleasure of seeing jealous!Aang. And I would not want to have to deal with that were I Zuko (or anyone else).

I do not think it will be like the way Zutarians say it will be from what I hear from them it seems kinda like a fanfic

Yup. If it did end up with Zuko being the catalyst for a Kataang romance it will then be:
-Aang's not attractive/sexy enough -Old enough -Mature enough
Blah, blah, blah.
It's not what the fans would want. It's what Katara would want. There is a need to put fan desires on Katara.

Well I believe in love at first sight and let me tell you Zutara was DEFINETLY not love at first sight. Katara and Aang were fated for something great. It's been a recurring theme. And it is more than just some silly boy taking a girl around the world with him because he has a mommy complex.

Ah, the same tired old arguments about why Katara could never fall in love with Aang... I've noticed there are about five that seem to get regurgitated constantly and all of them are so far based in opinion and not in fact that the staters' anti-Kataang bias shows through clearly.

I hate when those things come up, Mostly Zutarians bring it up, but I just roll my eyes and tell them that there ship has 2 times less chance then Kataang. But that is just when I am mad ;D

If anything, Aang can't be to replusive to Katara since she did want to kiss him, she's always touching him in some fashion, and she doesn't shy away from barely-clothed Aang. Ah, anti-kataang bias...how you rear your head and twist the characters and their relationships.

I think in the end no matter what happens between Zuko and Katara, Kataang will happen, that is why I am going to be a Kataangian foreva!

Seriously though, I believe it was Gotter who had the best argument against the whole "Katara as Aang's mother" theory. And it was this: There is one aspect of a parent/child relationship which is not present in the Katara and Aang relationship - namely, authority. Parents have the authority over their children. Katara does not have authority over Aang - in fact, she usually yields to him rather than vice versa. If she truly felt like a "mother" to Aang, she would probably also have the belief that he really needs mothering - that he couldn't take care of himself, much less the entire world. But instead, it is very clear that she believes that he can (and will) save the world. It's certainly not his capability that's cast into doubt.

Agreed. And she is never condescending with him In fact respects him and his ideas and opinions. She does treat Aang as an equal. But I suppose the simplest way to rule aang out as a suitor for Katara is to make his and her relationship a "mommy/son" one.

I think that Aang is acting pretty mature for his age if you ask me, I bet by season 3 he will be more mature then Zuko. So I have no idea what Zutarians are talking about Aang being a silly kid.
