See, my logic is that if Zutara was going to happen they would have started doing something with it already. Example being: The Seige of The North. Was Katara the one that got Zuko out the snow and put him on Appa? No. Did she care if he lived or died? Not really. My simple logic says if Zutara is going to happen they would have done something there.

Why does "When There Was You and Me" have to just revolve around Aang and Katara. If such an episode even exists, could it not be Aang confronting Katara about how he feels becasue there is anothe rooster in the hen house? Perhaps that rooster being Zuko? It would make sense that a confrontation of such would only come about and the episode titled as such because there would have to be someone other than Aang and Katara for the implication of "When There Was Just You and Me" to be valid. In other words, there has to be someone else. Aah, yes, very true. And from a zutarian perspective, I would LOVE an episode of Kat and Aang discussing their relationship. We'd finally hear it from Katara's lips if she doesn't feel that way about Aang. (A whole episode devoted to it would imply that their relationship is a little more... complicated than "OMG I LUVS YOU TOO") Perhaps a type of flashback/clip show, as they say goodbye to a thing that was beautiful but now over. Ooh, that would be sad and lovely.

You have a good point, Anastasia, but we don't know what they are thinking. We don't know what any of the characters think. But we still have the rest of season 2 and season 3 to see what happens. It isn't over yet!

It's retty obvious that Zuko will teach Aang firebending. But that can't happen yet because Aang was in the middle of learning Waterbending. Now he's learning Earthbending. Didn't Roku say that he had to learn the elements in order? If there was any great time for Zutara to unravel, it's when Zuko joins the gaang.

We're seriously lacking on interaction between the two. But again, I think, as long as he's with the gaang by the end of this season, season three will have plenty of time for relationships to develop all around. Oh, and I love the fact that Aang was the one to save Zuko in SOTN! The two of them are supposed to be two sides of the same coin (though zuko has a more effective sob story). I think a friendship between the two is very important to the show, especislly season three. Just think, Zuko sortof owes the boy a life debt. And he hasn't really gone after him since SOTN.

Was Katara the one that got Zuko out the snow and put him on Appa? No. Did she care if he lived or died? Not really. My simple logic says if Zutara is going to happen they would have done something there. It's all about circumstance. At that time, Zuko was the enemy. He'd been mean and gave off a generally bad impression. Of course she's not going to jump up and rescue him. Aang understood Zuko a little better than Katara at that time (The Blue Spirit), so it's understandable why he offered to help Zuko before Katara. Now with all this character development and reformation Zuko's going through, there's bound to be a difference in how they interact, and in how Zuko interacts with people in general. Once Katara (and the rest of the gaang) sees how he's changing and how he's changed so far, they'll probably be ready to start accepting that he's a changed guy, at least at some point. What I'm trying to say is: that was then, this is now. The circumstances are different, and everyone is changing. It'd be expected for people's feelings to change as well.
