He's not emo; his attitude is perfectly natural for someone who's endured what he has. He is realistically human.
If I were an animated teenaged girl character in his world, I would say his scar is sexy. As an artist observing him as a character, I say it adds depth to character and reminds him and us of what he's been through and what it's hade him. Hiding it would be the act of a fool and a coward. Zuko's accepted his past at last and moved on.
Before anyone tells me to lighten up, I know this is just a joke, but since this is the Internet, it seems a shame to hold back.

Okay...this seriously pisses me off. First of all, this was a joke, and you pretty much ruined it. Second of all, emo isn't a shameful thing, and yes he is emo. His attitude is perfectly normal for what he's gone through; yes, but he's still emo none-the-less. Anywayz.......back to the joke! OMG! Zuko is soo hott with that hair! Mai is gonna have some FUN tonight!

Ya know, I love guys with long hair, but really Zuko looks just fine the way he is! I like the scar and I don't see the need to cover it up. And really, he is not a blonde type person, he looks bad all the way around in that pic!
I do have to say, that after I jumped out of my skin, I did laugh pretty hard at that sight! Thanks for the scare and the good laugh!
