Okay, I've completed "Hair Down Sokka"... or as I now call him, "Casual Sokka"Here's a look at all sides of his 'do: That's right, "Casual Sokka" - The subject of many a young fangirl's Sig: And so ends my Sokka replacement head saga... You're next Zuzu! This has been a blast for me & I'm glad everyone likes it. If anyone has any suggestions or wish lists feel free to let me know what you'd like to see. I'd even be willing to make some of these as prizes for DH contests if the mods like that idea.

Actually, I agree with you and think the Sokka figure is an ideal base for female characters due to his svelt figure and thin lady legs... That sounds terrible, sorry Sokka It was those key features that made me think of using that body as the base for a Suki figure. The one thing that would be tough to change on it though is his thicker non-Suki-esque waist. So I've decided to wait for the Katara figure to come out and build her off that. Mattel curently has her in production for the 2nd half of 2007 (bloody long wait, but that's what mass production requires). It's all thanks to the swift petitioning of fans too. Have a read-through of this thread at avatarspirt.com if you haven't already seen the fan effort that went into changing Mattel's mind about making the female characters: So she's on her way. Apparently along with the Blue Spirit as well (so the grapevine says) and I can't imagine Toph not being included sometime very soon. So could I make a Katara now? I could try, but it might come out little too butch. For now I'd rather wait for the Mattel version as far her Water Tribe look is concerned, but thanks for the suggestion! And when it does hits stores I'm immediately making an "Earth King's Ball Katara" and an "Underwear Water Training Katara" Woo-Hoo!!! So how about we add those two to the roster? Katara: Defining Hotness since 2005 To make a full body rescuplt (which I'm starting with Zuko) I'm going to have to seperate all the joints of a figure into thier indidvual components and cast them in Alumilite resin plastic ( www.alumilite.com/). Reason being that the rubbery plastic that's used on the Mattel figures for the limbs is impossible to sand down without big melty goobs appearing & clay can't be added to it since it doesn't stick. So once I have a resin cast copy I can start making new details.
