[Hok: Why don't you tell Kiyouh what he's doing? That way he doesn't have to guess And to all: My character's history changed slightly, but it is basically the same and you won't be able to tell, so why am I telling you? ] Taiyou watched Piro and Ota as they argued, and smiled to herself. They seem just like... Taiyou stopped herself. I have to stay strong. I made this decision for myself, and I can't doubt myself now. Taiyou was lost in her thoughts when she heard "Taiyou! Didn't you hear me?" [And take it away...someone.] [*cough* Mashy, I think you missed something.... ]

"Hok, what is it?" Aqulu looked over at her friend, and noticed she'd been staring off every now and then. She seemed tense. "Oh, it's nothing." She rubbed the back of her neck, and let out a sigh. "We should start figuring out where to look." Aqulu started to worry about her. Not only had Hok been acting strange since they left, but she wasn't as cheerfull as she normally was. She hadn't even been this concerned over the war. "Let's map some stuff out." Hok took out a parchment from her sash, and sat down on the cold ground. Aqulu began tracing her finger over the paper, creating a line over the route they had been traveling. "Now, we have to think about where your mother might be." The mage looked up at the sky, and saw the clouds whirling in overhead. "Hokna, do you happen to know anything else about this fiancee of yours?" "....No," Hokna said, while looking at the map, and back at the light. She was tired from all this running. Tired from running away from Kiyouh. Tired of everything that she was supposed to do to become a Summoner. "I'm sorry. I've only seen him for a brief moment when I was introduced to him..." she said sadly. "Oh," Aqulu said, looking back at the map. "I understand..." Hokna heard something move, and looked at the direction of the noise. Was it a plant? She saw nothing there that was unsual, but she saw the plant leaves move slightly. She paid no attention to it and looked back at the map. There was the path that they were on, and two different lights pulsed gently. One was pink-- Hokna's location. The other was black-- Aqulu's. "If we continue here..." Aqulu said, pointing at the path they were on, and then tracing the path that they were running on. "...we should be able to find them here, at the Hountai Prison Grounds." Hokna shivered. She hated prisons the first day she heard that threat. "...Or you'll be thrown in the Phamakian Prison..." her mother always said everytime she misbehaved or didn't do anything right. Hokna shook her head and rolled up the map, tucking it in her bag. "Let's keep moving..." Aqulu nodded, while Hokna turned around, facing the black-silver light, pulsing with every second. Hokna's heart seemed to be beating in time with it... Hokna and Aqulu ran towards the light, which was glowing brighter with each step. Closer..... closer.... closer... ----- When the two reached the light, they looked inside the Prison. It was, indeed, filled with people from the Hountai Kingdom. But wasn't there a queen there? "The Queen is ineffected by magic while she's in the palace," Aqulu explained. "At least everyone's safe here...." Laughter flooded the room. Then the laughter died, and a young man spoke. "Not everyone." Hokna felt a chill running up her spine. She never heard him laugh before, but she knew it was Kiyouh. She knew that voice anywhere. Vines rose violently from the ground, pulling Aqulu into the ground, her legs and hands trapped into the earth. Hokna looked at Aqulu, and then her mother, who was sitting next to a few people. Hokna started to run, but vines were coiling around her, completely immobilizing her. They didn't reach her head, which was twisting this way and that. She stopped twisting her head and helplessly watched as Kiyouh jumped down from the top of the wall that surrounded the Prison, landing on his feet perfectly, and then walking to the Summoner. Hokna's face was between Kiyouh's dirty, but strangely soft, hands, and she felt his thumbs brush her cheeks and hair. Kiyouh smiled and stopped moving his thumbs, tucking them under her hair. "I knew you'd come here..." ******* Now THAT was long!! ><

Akira was disgusted. SHe had traveled a long way to see the Queen, only to find out the young woman was not in her castle but on a journey herself.
"and it should have been such an easy mission...in and out and back home!" Her green eyes glared coldy at the blooming Orange trees, when suddenly the medallion on her chest turned hot and started to glow.
"Those silly girls are in trouble again! I swear, they are more trouble than a bag full of fleas!"
She took the crystal out of her tunic. The color changed from bright pink to deep purple...
"Black Magic..." with a deep growl she reached into her bag and drew the top of a summoner staff out.
"Let's go, Sweetcheeks" she attached it to the top of her staff. "On into the 'Heart of Darkness'!"
A bright light engolfed Akira as she flew off in a shower of multicolored sparks.

Hokna saw Kiyouh draw a dagger from his belt, holding the sharp edge close to her neck. Why did he want to kill her? He wanted her as his fiancee, right?
"So, what's up?" Kiyouh didn't move the dagger. Something about his voice sounded different. Something that wasn't his. It sounded like someone else was speaking for him. "Remember me?" Hokna breathed deeply and stared at Kiyouh coldly. "Of course I do, Kaishin." Kaishin was one of Hokna's best firends in her childhood. When she turned 12, she couldn't go and play with her friends anymore, and that meant that Kaishin couldn't play with anyone. He had a unique ability to control the minds of one male Summoner at a time. One was Kiyouh. Hokna didn't know if he was jealous or not.
"You should've accepted me, Hokna," Kaishin said, speaking through Kiyouh. "You should've ran to me..." "Shut up! I don't want to accept anyone for my fiancee yet! I don't want to marry anyone now!!" Hokna was crying tears. Killing Kiyouh would mean that Kaishin would die, too. So if he couldn't have Hokna, no one could...
"I never wanted to marry anyone, either," said a familiar female voice. Akira...? But Hokna didn't... she couldn't...
Hokna spotted Aqulu with the Crystal of the Call in her mouth, hanging by its string. It was glowing a very bright orange, then the glow faded as Akira stood behind Hokna.
"So, Kaishin, long time no see..." "I should say the same to you..." Hokna knew Keishin had a cousin that would come once in a while. Was his cousin Akira?
Akira released Hokna and Aqulu at once, and turned to face Kiyouh. He was back in his fighting stance, a dagger in each hand. He lunged towards Hokna, the daggers' sharp edge pointing towards her. But before he could attack...
Kiyouh dropped the daggers and clutched his head, landing on his knees, groaning. He kept mumbling words, some of them that Hokna could barely make out. A few moments after, Kiyouh had sweat falling from his face, panting as hard as he could.
He looked at Hokna sadly, and kissed her cheek softly. "I'm sorry." He jumped over the walls of the Prison, and was out of sight in an instant. Akira and Hokna freed the prisoners trapped inside the different cells. One by one, each person was running out of the Prison happily, and Aqulu's mother hugged Hokna and was asking who Akira was.
Aqulu looked at the path they took with a look of horror on her face. She whispered one word with panic: "Aekita!"
-------
OK, Aqulu, we're going back to your house to find Aekira. And we'll be cleaning up the house. It's gonna be a mess. XP

Lol. None of this has anything to do with you. Yet. ;D -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Aqulu ripped the heavy cloak off her shoulders, and began running down the path as quickly as she could. Her face was dirty and bruised, but she knew Aekira would be worse off.
"Aqulu, wait!" Her mother began after the young mage, pointing a finger towards the ground. Hokna watched the hard soil crumble, and turn soft like sand beneath Aqulu's feet.
"Mom stop!" She turned around slowly, her eyes were wet, and she couldn't seem to breathe steadily.
Hokna followed the older mage to her daughetr, and stayed silent. The girl's tears hit the ground silenty, and the wind began to die down.
"You know what would happen if Aekira got hurt." She tried to pull her feet from the moist ground. "You know the war is coming. Haven't you accepted it yet?" She was choking back her crying.
"Aqulu. The war is far off." Hokna took a step forward. She placed a hand on her friend, and smiled like she always did. The scene seemed a bit more lively. "It's okay."
The young mage looked down. Her mother began to draw a circular portal, then began picking up Aqulu's things from the ground. "Were you going to run all the way home?" She sighed. "You know how far the Hountai Kingdom is from here."
She walked through the portal, and left the two girls standing alone. "Hok. I'm sorry."
"It's fine. You're just scared. That's all." She laughed.
"Maybe." Aqulu smiled.
"Now." Hok grabbed her friend by the arm, and dragged her towards the portal. "Let's go find Aekita."

When Hokna and Aqulu went through the portal and were inside the Black Mage's home, they saw it was a complete disaster. The plants were scattered and torn, the soil dirtying the once clean, black tiled floor. The dishes that were filled were food were broken, and the food was everywhere on the floor. There were even some slip marks.
"Aqulu! You're back!!" The Black Mage and the Summoner ran to Aekita, who was sitting on the floor, her skin bruised badly, her hair messed up. Hokna picked the Nymph up, as well as a small brush she had in her bag, and brushed Aekita's hair. Hokna was very careful not to pull the hair with her brush.
When Hokna was done brushing, she brought some ointment and healing herbs out. She took some ointment and made a layer of it onto Aekita's bruises. "Are you okay, Aekira? What happened?"
Aekita told everything: How hard she fought, how Kiyouh used a wierd Aeon to put her to sleep, everything. Aqulu clenched her fists in anger. "That... that... why, I should.... I should..." Hokna placed a hand on the Black Mage's shoulder. "It's okay," she said. "For now, let's clean this place up, alright?" Aqulu nodded.
Cleaning was an easy task; at least Aekita and Kiyouh fought in the dining room and the kitchen, and not anywhere else. Hokna let Aekita rest; she said that the Nymph had a hard night. Horyojin tired his best to make the same plants that Aqulu had, and put them in soil. Hokna cleaned the floor (She was always good at that), while Aqulu helped her. In no time, the dining room and kitchen were spotless, and Aqulu's mother looked around with a smile on her face.
"You ladies did a wonderful jobs with cleaning up! Why don't you go to the Queen's palace? You might learn more about this 'war' that you two are talking about." Aqulu and Hokna nodded, and Aqulu drew a circle in the wall, instantly turning into a portal. Hokna went in first, and Aqulu followed, but not before saying "Bye, mom! I hope I'll see you soon!!" The portal vanished, leaving Aqulu's mother alone. She looked at the wall sadly.
"Hokna... Aqulu.... Please be safe. For everyone." -------- ^Man, do I type a lot. O O
EDIT: Sorry, forgot how Aekita's name was spelled. ;^^

*he Universe is restless* Akira thought. The anchient scrolls contained prophecies like that...*When the Maiden Queens of the four winds meet*
And so on and so forth...Thus far two of the young Queens of the dimention had taken up travel...the chances of the ohters to join them should not be too great - under normal circumstances...but all four of the regning Queens had known the others from childhood and had remained close friends...
Akira groaned...The most pleasant countries she had covered, in the hope to avoid the others. "I am NOT going to that 'Snowcone Hell' she growled. The only destination now was to set for the land of the Full moon!
Leaving the devastating darkness of the prison behind her she set on to teleport towards the rising moon...

Akira reache Hountai as the night fell. Rappidly the darkenss surrounded her.
*I don't like tha dark* she thought. Like most of the plants she tended to, the Plant Mage prefered warm sunlight to cool nights.
Nobody had seen her arrival, that was good. The last thing she needed where a bunch of Witnesses...Pharmacian Mages rarely ventured into the Land of the Full Moon...
Akira looked around. She had reached a deerted country road, flanked by thick hedges. When she closed her eyes she could hear all sorts of creatures rustle through the thicket...
Then there it was. A loud thrashing sound came from teh mids of thorny shrubs.
Akira streched her hand out. Her eyes began to glow i bright green as she mumbeled a spell. The plants cept to the side, opening a path for the plant Mage to enter. At the end was a huge white bird entangled in vines, reaching for the bird and squeezing the very life out of it.
FLashes off light shot from Akira's hand and the ine dropped to the ground, releasing it's prey.
Helpless the white bird flapped it's wings, but was unable to take off.
*This journey is jinxed* Akira thought. *Everyway I turn there is something helless in need of rescue...before you know it the Summoner and her friend will need me again! Or worse...*
Carefully she examined the bird. The big white owl must belong to royalty, rings of precious metals dangled on the legs. Akira had to be carefull. The rescued bird was ever so ungratefull and pecked at her hands and tried to scratch her with razor sharp talons...
*Now, now* Akira pulled a potion out of her bag. *This ought to make you comfortable untill we can find a birdkeeper for you* she places a few drops on a piece of meat she had carried as provision and the bird eagerly snapped it up and swallowed it.
It didn't take long untill the potion took effect and the owl went limb...Akira carefully wrapped her into a cloth before she eased her gently into the sack. *You are too big* she thought *I hope you don't crush my things!* a faint sqeak answered her from deep in the bag...
*Well on then* Akira quickly returned to the road before her spell wore off and the hedgerow closed up around her. The Hopuntai hedges were notoriously thorny...some exuded juices that could irritate the skin for weeks with an itchy, spreading rash.
Little did she know that not too far away someone was waiting urgently for the return of the White Owl...

Hokna looked around the room they stepped onto. It was so strange, so new. Was this the palace of the Queen? It was completely black, but there was some light. A voice startled the Summoner.
"Hello there," a womanly voice said. "I assume you're Hokna?" --------------

When Akira reached the edge of toen she took the glowing crystal off her staff and stuck it in her bag. The white owls squacked in protest. *Hush now...I don't want everybody to know just yet what I am* she soothed the bird.
