OOC: yeah that actually sounds good. My reason in thinking was that because there are like, seven benders who are masters and then the Avatar who hasn't mastered all the elements but is still pretty powerful. But your idea sounds good so I'll change it. Oh, and most of the followers of Zula would be benders but some could be non-benders too.
BIC: "Yes, that does sound like him." Mizuki said, her smile growing wider. Turning to Kaito she said, "Please, you really should. It's a ball after all."

OOC: I like the ideas, I shall follow along faithfully.
IC:
Kaito scratched his head as the two of them got ready to return to the ball.
"I suppose I should head back out there, though I don't believe I shall be doing any dancing," he said with a small chuckle.
"More observing than anything, really."

Mizuki got off the bed slowly. "Thanks for helping me." She said in a quiet, almost embaressed voice. As they walked out of the room and back into the main hall, Mizuki trying not to attract too much attention. He cheeks turned slightly red as she rentered the hall, thinking that it might look a little....strange.....to see her coming out of some room with two young men.

Zen followed Mizuki out of into the main room and looked ahead to the table that they were before and stopped. "Mizuki, I think we should find a new place to sit. I don't think your brother or my sister would let us just sit down with a new person without first giving us twenty questions."

Mizuki nodded. "Where do you want to sit? Or I guess we could..." Mizuki was stopped by a figure in a black cloak roughly bumping into her. She was pushed into Zen as the person passed. "Watch it!" The figure hissed as the hood slipped past her face. Mizuki caught a glimpse of distict feminine features before the hood was drawn quickly over the person's face again. Two others dressed in the same black attire followed. "What was that all about?" She said as she regained her balance.

Kaito walked silently along with Mizuki and Zen, observing quietly as he had said he'd most likely do. Upon seeing them stop and hearing the comment from the man, Kaito chuckled and shook his head.
"No, it is really ok. You may go and sit with your siblings, I can once more resume my former spot without any trouble. In fact, I believe it is still open."
He eyed the spot by the door where he had been leaning against before.
"I do not want to trouble you, you may go to your table," Kaito bowed.
His smile faded however when he noticed three black cloaked figures move past and bump into Mizuki. He watched them closely, his eyes narrowed and his lips sealed.
Such attire was not exactly the biggest choice at the party...something was up.

Zen caught Mizuki and looked at the hodded figures. He didn't like the looks of them, they seemed out of place with black cloaks. He turned slowly toward Kaito, "No, its ok we already ate. Maybe we should go up and see the masters, maybe tell them about those people."
OOC: that would be Zula and company right?

"Sounds good to me. I've always wanted to talk to Master Kohaku!" She said excitedly, the dark hooded figures a forgotten memory. Mizuki smiled broadly at Zen and Kaito. "Let's go before the line gets too long. And the prince, could we meet him too?" She hadn't been this excited for a long time and was begginning to regret almost not going to the ball. Without waiting for an answer she turned to Kaito. "Are you a firebender too? My brother is going to kill me if he finds me with two firebenders." She said mischeviously.
OOC: correct

"Reporting these strange people would probably be in our best interests," Kaito agreed as he walked with Zen and Mizuki toward a line for a Master.
"As for me being a firebender," he laughed, "I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I cannot bend anything. In fact I'm just a lowly wandering philosopher."
He smiled and looked up at the line, his eyebrow raising. Talk about long.

Mizuki smiled. "We should go see the prince first, I think." She said looking at the long lines. "That way we can get through the line and you two can talk to him about those wierd people we saw." She looked around, trying to spot her brother. Not seeing him, she shrugged and smiled again at Zen and Kaito. "So, Kaito, you must travel a lot. Where've you been? You must've met lots of cool people! I don't think I'd ever be able to travel bymyself. My mom wouldn't ever let me go anywhere if she thought I could get lost...or hurt...or something else." She trailed off as they moved up in the line.

Masho went to the balcony to get some fresh air, it was really warm inside. She leaned against the wall enjoying some fresh air.She heard foot steps approaching,Masho leaned against the wall harder so she would not be noticed.A few people in black cloaks came out.The leading figure took it's hood off.It appeared to be Zula!Masho tried not to gasp as she hid behind a big statue."Does everyone remember the plans?"asked Zula.A moment of silence followed. She heard a sigh."You set a fire near the banquet hall, remeber the wine was drugged so no one will be able to put it out with bending. Then in all the chaos I'll kill the fire lord and take what was rightfully mine back.",Zula said with a hint of victory in her voice.Masho tried to stop herself from gasping. She tried to edge her way to the door.It was working so far...CRASH.Masho looked at where her foot was.She had just knocked over a pot.Masho ran inside as quickly as possible to tell the fire lord, as she was running she heard one more statement"Hurry,it seems someone has heard, and I want her dead as soon as possible!",Zula barked quietly.

Mizuki turned her head as a girl came running in from the balcony. She just saw one of the black hooded figures slip out of sight. She craned her neck to look over into the garden. Seeing nothing, she looked back to the girl, but was distracted by the bright flames now licking and burning the tablecloth. It traveled up and started catching onto the food, smouldering and continuing up towards the Master's table. Someone screamed, then more voices joined in. The room went into a state of chaos, the hellish firelight spreading to other tables. Mizuki had one glance of the Fire Lord as he and the other masters began to try to control the frightened crowd. Master Katara and Master Pakku were desperatly trying to put out the never ending flames, but it seemed that they were just as easily created. Mizuki was pushed out into the garden by the rushing crowd. She veered off to the right and pushed herslef through a bush, emerging on the other side. Distantly, she could hear the screams and yells of the others, sometimes seeing small groups passing by her hiding place. She looked quickly around. It was a small alcove, the only opening to her left and now a newer hole that she had come through. The bushes towered high above her head, making the secluded place seem errie. She was about to search for her brother, her heart beating widly, when two figures slipped inside. She ducked behind a large statue of a dragon, not knowing whether they were the firebenders who had started the fire in the palace. Her heart beat even faster and louder, so loud she was afraid they would hear it. "It has been confirmed that the Fire Lord wasn't part of it." The first voice was husky and low, speaking in an almost silent whisper. "Of course, of course. Have they gotten out safely? All of them?" The second one was lighter and more stern. There was a silence and Mizuki thought the first person was nodding or shaking thier head. Someone sighed. "And the scroll?" There was a rustle and the sigh came again. "Excelent." The second voice said quietly. "This will do nicely." Mizuki hardly dared to breath. Soemthing distracted her, something poked into her back. A branch. She thought, not wanting to make a sound by moving it. It wasn't until she heard the voice in her ear did she realize it wasn't a branch at all. "Up now, and softly girl." It said, sleek and quietly. Oh Gods! She thought. Oh Gods, Oh Gods! What have I done? She stood up slowly and a hand went over her mouth. She could just feel the point of the figure's knife in her back. The two people that had been talking stopped and looked at her suddenly. The shorter one sighed, the second voice. "What have we here?" Mizuki nearly fainted with fright. The taller man (both were men) raised his eyebrows and rubbed his forehead with a massive hand. "She most certainly isn't a spy." He said gruffly. Mizuki shook her head, as if to add to his answer. The person holding her chuckled quietly. "That's what we thought about Zula too and now...see...see waht she's done?" The voice said. Zula! The shot man sighed. "We can't just let her go." "We can kill her." Mizuki shivered and shook her head feebly, her heart beating as fast as ever. "No. We'll take her with us. For now. We can at least give her that...stuff. The medicine. She won't remember." The tall man nodded. "Time to sleep, my sweet." The last thing she saw were the two men, looking at a wrinkled scroll.

"Great were late and it's all your fault, Sala," Melakii whispered. "How is it my fault? Your the one who had to pack your stupid dress in the perfect case!" exclaimed Sala. "Well you didn't even have our gryffons ready!" "Rrrr, your such a....." "Just get in there you guys, maybe no one will notice us coming in." Collis, their older brother said. "Yeah right, you could hear these two yelling at eachother a mile away!" Tulo said.

Crap I'm too lateMasho thought. She ran through a random hallway using the crowd to her advantage and slipped into a room.It was dark in there.Masho snapped her fingers trying to produce a flame but remebered what she had heard and sighed. She opened the curtains so that the moon shone in.It was a bedroom with a wardrobe and a big bed.Masho looked at her dress. It was slightly schorched and had a tear in it.She sighed. She opened the wardrobe and was relieved to see women's clothes in there and convienlently a cloak. She changed her clothes and redid her hair. She hoped the people wouldn't recognize her as she slipped the dress under her cloak and exited the room.Outside it was worse than before.Smoke was everywhere and there was many panicking people.Masho's eyes burned from the smoke and hurridley ran outside covering her eyes which were watering.

Mizuki woke to silence. She tried to sit up, her head ached so much that she couldn't do it. Rubbing her temples, she looked around. It was dark and she couldn't see much, the outline of a bush, the statue. She attempted to sit up again and managed to even though it brought on a fresh wave of pain. Mizuki put a hand on her forehead. What had happened?
