Tetsuo was thinking. He eagerly anticipated the upcoming battle.
The purpose of my existence is to kill. I must kill everyone. I must eliminate all human beings, for if they are incapable of survival they are not worthy of life. That is why i respect the firenation, they killied the airbenders. The air nomads did not deserve life, the firenation proved that. That is why i fight along side the firenation. But soon, i must kill them too. For that is my purpose.

(ooc: Now add quote marks and you're fine.)
Shan was in her room, undoing her sash. The familiar parka and tunic combination of the tribe laid on a sleeping bag. She pulled the robe off and let it drop to the ground. As she reached down to the blue tunic, she caught sight of her arm and the white scar.
"Can't show this to Mom," she said to herself. "She'll just worry."

So, they had gotten to the North Pole. Shan had met her parents and was now somewhere in the city with them. Omni hadn't seen Zaka at all or Lucy. After she left the room where Sosei was, she hadn't seen anyone at all besides several amazed chiefs and a handful of hard-faced warriors. She had been taken to a small room inside a near-by house and was now sitting quietly in a chair, listening to the agruing going on in the next room. Standing by the door seperating her from them stood a guard holding a long spear. Omni didn't look at him or any of the strange objects in the room. Instead, she sat stiffly, staring into her lap, still wearing the Fire Nation clothes. She shivered in the cold and wordlessly the guard handed her a thick blanket. Gratefully smiling at him, she wrapped it tightly around her shoulders.
"....what were they thinking!" "....we can't just keep her here...." "....send word to Blue Fish...."
Some of the conversation drifted through the walls and under the door. Omni remained impassive, as if she were in a dream and could not wake up. All she really wanted was to go home....but where was that? She had never really had a home. The past few days were a blur now and she could hardly remember most of it. Now she was in the North Pole where she could make a home if she wanted. If only it were that easy.

Lucy sat down on a small side bench. She had no idea where she should go...she had never been here before. She found a small restaurant and walked into it. She sat down and ordered some tea and payed the waiter. She silently sat back and watched different people come in and out...

After some preparation, General Cho gave the order to the men to drop teh anchor. The ships were deporting from Zeng Xa, on their way towards the North. Their weapons plentiful, food and supplies enough to feed an entire army. General Zhao stood on the ship in the third row, General Iroh was next to him.
Cho glared at Iroh's backside, despising his failure at Ba Sing Sa. He remembered it well, when General Iroh was (reluctantly) appointed to go. Cho would have led the army and won, but Iroh felt it that he had to go. After almost two years of battling, Cho awaited eagerly the news, only to be broken, finding out the Great Iroh failed in the battle.
"You can stop glaring at me any time now, Cho." Iroh said, without turning or moving.
"Yes sir, I apologize, General Iroh..." He muttered through clenched teeth. "We will be to the North in about three weeks, are the men prepared?" Zhao asked quickly. "Yes General Zhao, the troops are ready. And the waterbender?" Cho replied and asked. "Deal with him as you see fit, or actually Iroh you can prove your loyalty to the Fire Nation by torturing him..." Zhao said despicably. "Yes Zhao, I will see to it." Iroh responded. Cho watched as he left, almost blasting flames at him.
Somewhere below Iroh passed a Fire Nation guard.
Iroh: Our plan is working perfectly. Zhao doesn’t suspect a thing. Zuko replied removing the white mask. "You didn’t have to do this." And Iroh replied. "No nephew of mine is going to stow away on a ship without some backup!" Zuko greatfully looked towards his uncle "Thank you, Uncle." A metallic sound rang, Iroh whispered. "Someone’s coming! Stay hidden until we get to the North Pole and the Avatar will be yours! Good luck!" He said, and they both left.
Iroh went into a room only to find a badly injured waterbender, with snow white hair, he was shackled to two poles on both sides, hanging bleakly.. "I see waht has happened, I am sorry, but my Nation does what it does, and I do waht I do." "It doesn't matter anyways, save your words old fool, if your'e here to kill me..." "I'm not, but I can't let you go until we get to the North, especially not in this condition...Zhao said he had a plan to destroy the Northern Water Tribe, but I don't ssee how that is possible...You'd have to blast the moon!" Iroh exclaimed. "Maybe thats what he's planning to do..." Horyo whisipered. "Well, I'll be there to stop him, if the moon is gone, balance will be lost." Iroh responded. "TOo bad, because balance is already gone." Horyo said as Iroh was leaving, he stopped and gasped. Horyo's eyes shone with a blue intensity now, and he said one final thing. "I know my fate...Death is on the horizon, but I die gladly for the Moon and Ocean spirit, and may my blood strengthen them. Also, another is to die...I don't know how, but I must kill him...His ways they must have influenced me, but I wil kill him, and feed him to the Ocean spirit, and purify his soul to the Moon spirit." Then he collapsed.

The door slammed open and the guard was very nearly knocked into unconsciousness. A middle-age man stormed through without a second look around. Omni jumped after she heard the noise and drew back in her seat as she saw the man coming straight for her.
"Look!" He cried loudly while grabbing her wrist. Several others from the other room had drifted in and were staring at her curiously.
"Look! It is here, she wears he family crest! How can you not be sure?" The man's voice strained as he let go of her. She dropped, horrified, into the chair again, pressing her body agaisnt the back of it in an attempt to get away from everyone around her. They were all looking at her with mixed expressions of curiosity, disaproval, and pity. A younger man stepped forward and raised his hands.
"Kamoka, we all have seen it." He calmly turned his gaze to her. "You are Omni?" Omni nodded, swallowing dryly.
"Well, I think she should stay with the healer. It would be the safest place for her now. She can learn healing while she is there." The man's cool blue eyes connected with hers and she immeadiatly felt her heart rate slow. Kamoka, on the other hand, thought otherwise.
"The healer's? Are you mad? The palace would be the safest place for her!" He was breathing heavily. The other man put a hand gently on his shoulder.
"I will personally escort her there. It would be unwise for her identity to be known just now. Please understand." The others around him nodded in agreement. Finally, the man Kamoka nodded with great reluctance. The man turned back to Omni.
"Here, child, I will show you the way."

Kaori yawns as she wakes up in her room, "Well that was a very decent nap." She stood and stretched her arms, "But now I'm hungry. I wonder if Omni would be willing to make me a little snack." She thought about learning water bending, very exciting thoughts to her indeed. Unfortunately, she did now know how dissappointed she would be once she arrived there, just to find that girls such as herself were not trained in the water bending arts. She exited her room and headed towards the kitchen, "It's awfully quiet around here." She finaly arrived at the kitchen and ducked her head in, "Hello? Is anybody in here? Hmmm...empty..." She ddecided to go see if the others were on the deck. She pooped her head out above deck and looked around, "How strange. I wonder where they are..."

Sosei just sat in the room after Omni left, wondering if he made the right decision. She will find out eventually he told himself. He sighed, "I suppose it would have been better if I had told her though." He sat lost in his thoughts for a while and then decided that he couldn't procrastinate any longer and headed up deck to head out into the city.
When he reached the deck however he saw Kaori and just heard her ask herself where everyone was. He walked up next to her, "I think that everyone has gone out to explore the city. I'm headed to the chief's office to make sure that he knows that the siege is coming. Would you like to join me?"

The man showed Omni outside, leaving the others talking quietly among themselves. The sunlight streamed down from above making Omni blink and shield her eyes.
"This way, Omni." The man said gently, guiding her with one hand. Omni took a quick look around and noticed the ship was still there, sitting patiently.
"Wait...." She said slowly. The man stopped and looked at her curiously. She took a deep breath. "Um....where is everyone?" The man raised an eyebrow.
"Who do you mean?"
"Where are my...friends?" Omni barely choked out the last word, hardly daring to say it. "I haven't seen them...and...well...I just want to know if they're okay." The man smiled and Omni was reassured.
"They have most likley gone into the city. They will be fine, I assure you. Please, I will take you to the healer." She nodded numbly and followed him with one final glance at the ship.

Now dressed in her usual grab and her hair done in her usual conical twin buns, Shan stepped outside. She groans quietly as she placed the palm of her hand against her forehead. She felt the triangle-shaped indentation that Tetsuo had created. She remembered the ungainly weight and frigid cold the band had on her.
"I won't see him again," she said to herself. "He's dead."

Kaori nodded happily, a warm smile accompanying the nod, "Sure, I'll come. But I have just one thing on my mind. Where can I go to learn water bending? I'm eager to learn from a great master. Just think of how much better I could be if I was trained by a real master!"

Lucy left a tip on her table and exited the cafe. She looked around, hoping she would find someone she knew. She was making her way down the streets when something caught her eye. It was a small school for healers. Lucy poked her head in the door and sat down quietly by the wall to watch.

WHile the group was resting in the Northern Water Tribe a few days, enjoying their break from danger and such excitement, feasting on delicious home-baked food, another group was barely arriving.
Out on the ocean, water benders and fishers were on boats, hunting for fish, when, in the distance, they saw a large mass, flying, it was like a giant white cloud, except it had an arrow shape, it was a bison. "Fire Nation intruder?" One Fisherman exclaimed. "Come we have to stop them." The leader of the Fishermen said to the rest of the boats. They were alarmed, then used ice to stop the bison, it swerved to the right, dodging a large iceberg, then he dodged to the life, avoiding another iceberg, the group hung on for dear life. Then a giant ice jet strikes the Bison on the underside, as it fell, the bison turned and twirled in the water, only to be stopped by a large mound of ice around, then small wooden boats saild out, revealing water Benders. "They're waterbenders! We found the Water Tribe!" A girl on the Bison exlcaimed. Then the fishermen take the bison, who is now swimming, and its passengers to a large ice wall, where other waterbenders lowered the ice to reveal an entrance into a beautiful city. After a while of shock and amazment, a small wooden boat floated by, with a beautiful white-haired girl, in large warm and decorative clothing, A tall boy on the Bison blusheis and follows her to the Bison's tail, she sees him, smiles, blushes, then turns away.
"It's beautiful!" The girl on the Bison exlaimed. "Yea it sure is..." Said the boy who is still looking towards the young woman sailing down the canal.
Later that Night, everyone in the Water Tribe joined, and feasted. "Tonight, we celebrate the arrival of our brother and sister from the Southern Tribe, and they have brought with them someone very special, someone whom many of us believed disappeared from the world until now. The Avatar! We also celebrate my daughter’s 16th birthday. Princess Yue is now of marrying age." A large, aged, but proud man said, Chief Arnook was happy for his daughter, who came out, it was the same girl as before, bundled white hair, she smiled sweetly, and sat down next to the trio. "Now, master Pakku and his students will perform!" Shouted Chief Arnook, and on the stage three waterbenders started to mov their arms fluidly, water moved around, turned and curved it was magnificent, especially to the group.
And then...

Shan sat down between her mother and father at the long table, both of them clapping as they watched Pakku and his students manipulate the water into graceful maneuvers.
"Isn't it exciting?" her mother turned to her. "The Avatar has returned. Perhaps this war will finally end and Lok will be able to come home."
"I wonder if he still remembers me," Shan said.
"Well, of course, he'll remember you," her mother laughed. "You are his bride!"
"Katara and Sokka were only kids when I met them," Shan said, looking straight at them. "They lost their mom and their dad went with Lok and the others. Now, they found the Avatar. I wonder...if I wasn't so impatient to get out of the South Pole, would I have gotten a ride and got here in half the time, maybe less?"
"Shan, don't dwell on it," her mother replied, placing her hand on her daughter's. "You're here at home and you'll finally be safe for once."

Omni was sitting queitly next to the healer. She watched with amazment as the waterbenders preformed, moving fluidly like the water itself. She had learned much about healing with water from Ugoda in the past few days and now was more interested in using waterbending for other purposes. She had been told, of course, that girls were not allowed to learn waterbending from Master Pakku. She didn't want to learn to fight with water.
"Ah, Princess Yue is sixteen. Chief Arnook must be proud." Ugoda sighed contentedly next to her. Omni smiled and her eyes turned to Shan sitting by her parents. Not having much of a chance to talk to her friends, Omni had been hoping to see them tonight. Especially Sosei. She unconciously touched her necklace hidden beneath the warm parka. She had wanted to finish the conversation she had had earlier with him. Looking around the room, she noticed that one of the Avatar's companions was talking to Princess Yue. She smiled to herslef again and took a bite of fish from her plate. It had been a nice couple days here and Omni had enjoyed them. Even though she had been the only older girl in the healing class, Ugoda had made her feel welcome and she didn't feel at all out of place. Ugoda was also an excellent cook and Omni thought she might be gaining some weight, a good thing Ugoda thought for she had said that Omni was skin and bones before.
"I wonder where everyone is?" She muttered under her breath and looking aorund again.
(Is the healer's name spelled right? i couldn't tell.)
