Sokka: Hello fellow "Whose Shippers"! Welcome to our next rousing installment! Today we have a special guest! Welcome "Whose Ship" producer, and the creator of "Avatar the Abriged Series", Pleading Eyes!
Pleading Eyes: (Walks out to the sound of a pre-recorded audience applauding) Hey Sokka! Nice seeing you again! I haven't had a schizophrenic hallucination of you in a while!
Sokka: Well, this crazy moment in your head is just in time for our show!
Pleading Eyes: (Ecstatic) Is Zuko here!?
Sokka: Now, now! You know you're not allowed to dream about him since you turned 18! He's under age you naughty girl! So, tell us, what brings you here today?
Pleading Eyes: Well, first off you're in my room. Second, I'd like to thank everyone for their continued support of my rediculous and often inane projects! I'll be posting one or two new "Whose Ships" a day. Until we reach the goal of five. Then we all vote for the best one! I love your contributions and I'm happy to be working on them!
Toph: What's your secret?
Pleading Eyes: Sugar... lots of sugar... in fact, I think I'm going into kind of a withdrawel so.. have to go... get some... candy... or... something... (walks away twitching)
Sokka: Right... So, without further disturbing ado! Toph, if you would be so kind?
Toph: (Reaches into the bag, retrieves the next form, and hands it to Sokka)
Sokka: Alright! We have here... Characters: Aang and Katara Location: On a island Situation: Appa was flying to Whale Tail Island, when a sudden wind blew. Toph, Sokka, Momo and Aang were tightly strapped onto Appa, but Katara flew off. Aang airbended to rescue her, but the winds were so strong they were knocked onto the island, and the others were looking for them, but they couldn't find them. Katara and Aang are at a village were the only thing 12-16 olds do there is make-out and kiss. Katara and Aang want to leave, but they are quickly seen by the village leader, who is 12 and has a crush on Aang. She wants to kiss him, but Katara thinks otherwise....
Toph: Oh no... I sense a lot of "mood-swingy Katara" moments up ahead.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
They were headed for Whale Tail island. Why? because it was THERE and the Gaang hadn't seen it yet.
And it was close to the South Pole, so it was an excuse for Katara and Sokka to visit home afterwards.
"Do you think Master Pakku is still trying to pull the moves on Gran-Gran?" Sokka mused aloud, scratching his chin.
"You are a sad, strange, little man." Katara replied, leering, not wanting to think of Gran-Gran's private life. She loosened the strap on Appa's saddle, the new saddle being a more secure model, so she could crawl across and whack her brother on the head.
Unfortunately, the Gaang was so excited about the trip and the eventual return to the South Pole that they forgot to check the weather.
In a terrible twist of Zuko-brand bad luck, a hurricane hit. The Gaang, with their safe saddle, was strapped in and remained safe in their seats. All, that is, but Katara; who had forgotten to readjust hers.
In a swirl of violent wind and water, Katara flew off the edge off the saddle and plummeted towards the sea below. Quick to react, Aang snapped off his strap and jumped off Appa, after Katara. It took immense skill to maneuver through the storm, but Aang grit his teeth and put all his knowledge of airbending to the test. In a swoop, he caught Katara.
However, Aang hadn't planned on what he would do AFTER he caught his dear friend and secret crush. They were still plummeting to their doom, and in the middle of a hurricane no less!
It was times like these that it was good to be the Avatar.
Before he could even enter into a panic, the young airbender's eyes began to glow white, as did the tatooed arrows across his form. A small, unknown island waited below them.
Utilizing all his power, Aang steered the hurricane to his advantage; having it drop both him and Katara safely on the island.
Exauhsted and shaken, the two of them passed out.
Meanwhile Sokka, Toph, Momo, and Appa searched frantically for their lost companions... but no one really cares about them!
Back on the island, things were about to get much more interesting...
Katara awoke, her head spinning. She sat up, clutching onto the sheets under her for balance. Wait, sheets? Hadn't they landed on the shore of an island?
She opened her eyes and gasped at the sight. She was in a tent of some sort, decorated with candles and red flowers of all sorts. It was almost like a store aisle in Valentine season, but with less over-pricing.
"So, you're awake." Came a smooth, masculine voice behind her. Katara spun around, regretting it when her vision began to swim, to the source of the voice.
When her vision had cleared, Katara looked up at him. There stood a tall, handsome young man, with darkened skin and piercing golden eyes, sporting a hair cut very similar to Haru's, but an outfit more reminiscent of Zuko. And his voice...
"Good, I was worried for a moment."
...was undeniably Jet's.
"Who are you?" Was all that Katara could manage to say, eyes wide.
"My name is Garistu." He replied with a graceful bow. "Welcome to our island."
The island? So they had washed ashore... "Aang!" Katara shouted suddenly. "What happened to Aang?"
"You mean your friend, the Avatar?" Garistu inquired reassuringly. "He's quite alright, I assure you. Here, I'll take you to him."
He helped Katara to her feet and led her out of the tent.
The smell of the ocean and the glow of the sun hitting the sand sent a sense of glee through Katara. It was all so beautiful! And yet, so strange... especially considering what was happening ON the beach.
Everywhere she looked, children no younger than 12 but no older than 16, were... liplocked. It was an absurd sight, to say the least.
But things got even stranger when Garistu went to greet a young girl, about Katara's age, and randomly began to kiss her!
She could only stare, jaw slack, at the puzzling display before her. That is, until Garistu turned to introduce her.
The young girl, how moments before had been pressed up against Garistu, suddenly leaned in towards Katara.
"H-hey! Get away! I don't even KNOW you!" Katara shrieked, pushing passed the strange girl.
"She was just trying to be friendly." Garistu said in confusion. "Or do you prefer only guys? Well then, allow me to properly introduce myself..."
"Your name is enough, thank you!" Katara almost screamed, backing away. Normally she might have stopped to ponder about the bizarre customs of this island's people, but at the moment there was only one thing on her mind: Aang.
True to his word, Garistu led Katara to where Aang was being kept, stopping only to make-out with a guard.
Katara had to strain not to make an uncomfortable expression, and ventured into the large, regal looking building where Garistu had led her.
It was the island leader's home, supposedly. Katara figured Aang must have been brought here due to being the Avatar. She never expected her reasoning to be so wrong...
She walked into the throne room, which conveniently seemed to also be a bedroom. In the center of the room; a wide, canopied bed sat. And within the translucent curtains, upon the royal bed, lay Aang, looking perplexed.
"Um... so... when can I see Katara?" he asked, again.
"Soon, soon. But we haven't even been properly introduced yet!" A small, female voice beside Aang said.
"But I already told you my name like five times! I'm Aang, the Avatar! And you're Marisoo, leader of the island. We've been over this!"
"That's not what I meant." A lithe figure beside Aang move, pushing Aang down on his back.
"Aang!" Katara raced forward, thinking her friend in danger, and pulled back the curtains.
Only to find Marisoo perche atop of Aang, licks prepped to kiss him.
"Katara!" Aang said, breaking away. "There you are."
"Glad to see you're alright!" Katara spat jealously. "And that you seem to be making such great friends."
"Katara?" Aang was baffled. Why was Katara angry with him? What had he done, except be ambushed by this strange girl?
"So you're Katara." Marisoo yawned, feigning boredom, and stood. She wasn't very tall, only about Aang's height. And she could have been no older than 12. How could she be the leader?
"Are you really this island's leader?" Katara narrowed her eyes in suspicion.
"Yes! Welcome to Make-Out Point!" Marisoo said haughtily. "Although, I admit, there isn't much of a point. It's more of an island..."
"Yeah, so I gathered!" Katara snapped, pulling on Aang's arm. "Anyway, we really must be going."
"Going so soon?" Marisoo grabbed hold of Aang's hand, pulling him back. "But it's not everyday we get to see the Avatar! We were going to throw a party in his honor!"
"A party?" Aang's eyes glistened, his more childish side coming out.
"No thanks." Katara replied curtly.
"Aww... Katara..." Aang whined.
"Yes, Katara. Why don't you stay?" Came the silkily seductive voice of Garistu. "It would be a shame if you couldn't join me."
"I don't know..." Katara said uncertainly, her strong resolve mysteriously evaporating at the sight of Garistu.
"Yes, you'll be my guests of honor!" Marisoo insisted, clapping her hands. "In fact, let's get you both ready for the party! New clothes, new hairstyles, the works!"
With a snap of Marisoo's fingers, Katara was carried away by several other young women. In desperation, Katara cast Aang one final furtive glance.
But Aang didn't see her, being distracted by Marisoo, who actually found his spinning marble trick amusing.
Katara was thrown into a vat of scented water. There she was scrubbed clean and wrapped in a perfumed towel. Next she was taken to wardrobe, then to a hairstylist. By the time she was finished, Katara had been dressed in a mini skirt and spaghetti-strap top, her hair pulled up in a perky pony tail.
"What... is all this?" She couldn't believe how inappropriate the clothing was! She was showing more skin than she was hiding!
"Duh! Traditional Make-Out Point clothing!" a girl replied, dressed similarly.
It was then that Katara realized... all the girls were dressed this way! But for the different colors of their garments, and different accessories in their hair, all the girls were exactly the same!
And now Katara was one of them...
The girl traveled back to the beach. never leaving Katara's side for an instant, until they reached the beach. There they scattered, each finding their respective partner and wasting no time to start kissing.
Is that all anyone did around here?
Katara took a moment to examine the boys' clothing. They all wore creased pants, made of a fabric she had never seen before--denim, and loose jackets. "Sports blazers" one boy called them. And every boy had similar, well-combed hair. No top-knots of any kind.
How exceedingly peculiar...
"There you are..." Garistu appeared behind Katara, dressed as the other boys, his golden eyes glimmering. "You look beautiful."
"Oh... thank you." She couldn't help but blush. He was breathtakingly handsome, not to mention smooth.
Garistu placed his hand on Katara's cheek, brushing back her bangs, and leaned in.
She would have kissed him. She really would have! If she hadn't seen what was happening behind Garistu.
There, seated at a long, elegant table, was Aang. He had been dressed up like all the other boys, and atop his head rested a blond wig.
Katara had never seen hair color like that before...
But that wasn't the point! The point was that beside Aang sat Marisoo, and that under-age hussie had her arms wrapped around Aang, ensnaring him!
And while Aang seemed to be prattling on about who-knows-what, he was unaware as to Marisoo's lips, which inched ever nearer to his with every passing second.
In a burst of fury, Katara shoved Garistu aside. The beautiful boy fell gracefully onto the sand, the spray of the ocean glittering in his hair.
Katara ignored this and stormed over to the table, grabbed Aang by the collar, and snatched him out of the evil Marisoo's clutches.
"Back off! He's mine!" Katara declared, not really thinking about she was saying.
"Oh, come now. Aangy-poo, wouldn't you rather stay with me? Forever? All it takes is one kiss, and you'll never leave me again..."
"Um... what?" Aang blinked, still oblivious.
But Katara had begun to understand. "Of course. I thought it was odd that all anyone ever does around here is kiss! It's not natural!" She hid Aang behind her back, distancing the two of the from Marisoo, who's saccharinly sweet smile was dissolving into a frightening frown.
"You think you've figured it all out!? You now nothing!" Marisoo bellowed, the veins in her forehead beginning to swell unattractively. "My island is perfect! On my island everyone is young and everyone is in love! Forever! It's beautiful!"
"No..." Aang gasped, finally having figured out the mystery. "Katara, I know where we are!"
"What?" Katara looked down at Aang's horror-stricken face with concern.
"We're in one of those bad teenage dramas! Like Dawson's Creek or the OC!"
Of course... it all made sense now! Beautiful teens that were constantly making out, and held no real personality or essence? It had to be!
"Make-Out Point is different!" Marisoo screeched, her eyes glowing red, a she stood out of her chair. "Nobody wants to see all the pointless and terrible plot-lines in those shows! They just want the action! Make-Out Point is all action, all the time! We're going to KILL in the ratings! Now come here Aang..."
With a flick of Marisoo's wrist, all her gorgeous minions stopped kissing and charged towards Katara and Aang. Katara held onto Aang for dear life. She'd never give him up!
"There's no use resisting, Aangy-poo! One kiss of my lips and you'll be just another handsome mindless drone!"
The minions were closing in, they were surrounded by them! The young Avatar weighed his options. As horrible as a life as a B-list television actor was, he could not let anything happen to Katara.
"Fine!" Aang declared, removing himself from Katara's grasp. "I'll kiss you... but only if you promise to let Katara go!"
"Aang, don't!" Katara cried, tears brimming in her eyes.
"Agreed." Marisoo snapped her fingers and the minions halted their advance.
"No, Aang!" Katara tried to stop him, to reach him, but that infuriating Garistu grabbed hold of her and held her back. "You can't do this! The world needs you! I need you!" The tears fell freely now. She was about to lose Aang to a fate worse than death... forever.
Aang stood proud and approached the horrible monster bravely. Marisoo opened her arms wide to the young airbender, ready to claim her prize.
Chin held high, Aang placed his hands behind Marisoo's head...
...and ripped off the mask!
Even the dull-witted minions gasped in shock, Garistu releasing his hold on Katara; who rushed up beside Aang.
"No! No! You've exposed me! My career is OVER!" cried Marisoo, falling to he knees, clawing at her wrinkles, defeated.
"Aang, how did you know?" Katara asked in shock.
"Elementary, my dear Katara." Aang explained, a random smoking pipe appearing in his hand. "While the characters in these teen dramas are usually 12-16... the actors playing them are more often than not, at least in their twenties."
"Yeah, and i might have gotten away with it too! If it wasn't for you meddling kids!" babbled on Marisoo, but no one was listening.
"So..." Katara began awkwardly. "What are we supposed to do with them?" She gestured at the gorgeous minions, which wandered around aimlessly in a group, like zombies.
But before Aang could answer, Appa came flying down from out of the sky, landing on top off all the minions, crushing them.
"Well, that solves that problem." Aang said with a shrug.
"There you guys are!" Sokka said in relief.
"We've been looking all over for you!" called Toph.
Even Momo chittered happily.
"Let's get out of here." Aang said, heading for the air bison.
But Katara took his wrist, stopping him. "Yeah, let's go. But while we're here..." she smirked as she finally gave Aang a much deserved kiss, before they headed onto Appa, hand in hand, and flew away.
"The moral of the story is, nothing is wrong with love. Love is beautiful. But kissing and making-out and all that does NOT equal love. Love is so much more than..."
"Geez, Sokka. Shut up." said Toph, still annoyed that Katara and Aang hadn't stopped snogging since leaving the island.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sokka: Wow... that was kinda disturbing.
Toph: I'm just glad I wasn't involved this time.
Sokka: Well, I guess Aang kissing my sister... I guess I'd be okay with it. I mean, as long as she's not dating crazies like Jet.
Well, a special thanks to zukoxme for the submission!
Toph: Oh no...
Sokka: What?
Toph: This "Whose Ship" ended in Kataang. Rabid Zutara fans are coming this way! With torches and pitchforks!
Sokka: Dammit, see? I knew this would happen! How close are they Toph? ...Toph? Where'd you go!? Don't LEAVE ME!

Hi everyone! Pleading Eyes here!
*pauses*
Oh, well, I guess you know that already. Anyway! I just wanted to thank you for all your submissions, enthusiasm, and compliments! Really, they make my day!
Unfortunately, we have reached our limit for submissions. I already have the five "Whose Ships". Three of them already have been written, as you can see. Two left to go.
Anyway, after all five have been written, I will be holding a vote for best "Whose Ship". For this to work, however, I need titles for each story.
For the first one I was thinking something along the lines of "Zuko (and the FCFZL) Alone", making fun of the episode title "Zuko Alone." If anyone has a better idea, please tell me your suggestion!
For the second one I have a title. "The Cave of Four Lovers." The title was just too perfect.
Now for the third one. I want a title that parodies an episode title, but so far I have been drawing a blank. If anyone has any ideas, they would be most appreciated!
Thank you for taking the time to participate in "Whose Ship is it Anyway?", whether with a submission or just by reading and replying!
I look forward to my next stupid thread!
Best of luck to you all, ~*~Pleading Eyes~*~
