I liked Jin well enough, Zuko needs someone to be with and I think Jin is good for him
WARNING: MINOR SPOILER AHEAD:
The creators said she might come back in S3.

I think it would be good to have her come back in season 3. Zuko used to see the Earth Kingdom as a faceless land that the Fire Nation was meant to take over, but Song and Jin have put faces on the Earth Kingdom. Perhaps Jin will show Zuko the suffering he's caused, seeing as how she's not a faceless victim. She'll probably find out about Zuko helping his sister take over anyway, seeing as how he kind of stands out. It won't be long before rumors about a scarred man start floating around Ba Sing Se.

Jin is one of my all time favorite characters, she had a great personality and made Zuko show a side of him that we have never seen before. Jin was an awsome character and I hope they bring her back, I would love to find out more about her and what happened to her.

I for one, do not like Jin. Or rather, her lack of development. I don't care that she kissed Zuko. I just would of preferred her to have...hm...development.
But she was there for about 5 minutes so I'm not going to complain all that much.
But that's exactly what Song did. She showed him that others were suffering via her scar and the fact her father is at war. I'd prefer to see Song return than Jin. Jin seemed purely developmental for me. If she were ever brought up again, I feel it would be a mention or flashback, rather than a role in an episode(s).
I feel there are more memorable characters than Jin to bring back. For instance, Jeong Jeong, Bumi, Haru, etc. Long Feng even. It all depends on the story line and what's going to happen next.

She seemed only developmental, and plus, if Zuko leaves Ba Sing Se, she can't come back. There are so many more characters that deserve to come back before Jin.

But that doesn't mean she can't come back, I am not saying that you do this but a lot of people hate Jin because of shipping and they have expressed that in Fanart and AMV's and are saying that she was just a worhtless character. I think she had a purpose on the show like all of the characters do and she deserves to returm no more then any other character on the show.

I don't think Jin is a worthless character (I thought she was adorable)...it's just that I really don't see any reason for her to return. I liked what she was for Zuko: a nice break from his worries. I would rather keep her in that special little place that, well, ruin her by turning her into what Song already is, someone wounded like Zuko who has been hurt by the firenation. Just because I like the ship of Soko does not necessarily mean I want Song to return just to snog Zuko; quite the contrary, I want her to return to show him her scar again, make him realize he's hurting people. If Jin did something similar then I just feel it would ruin her. She was meant to be set apart from Zuko's troubles, a pure moment within all the strife and war. I would just prefer her to remain in that special little place than have her return and suffer (Sad Jin? No thank you! I like happy, spunky Jin!)...

I don't hate her period. I dislike. Fine line, my dear. See? Jin had a purpose to develop Zuko more, IMO. That's it. Each character somewhat, teaches a lesson. Jeong Jeong, Bumi, they all taught Aang lessons. Even Yue. But I still feel other characters deserve to come back more than Jin.

Jin was nice, but that was about it. She wasn't all that interesting in herself. I think the most significant moment of the date was not the kiss, but when Zuko lit the candles, because it was a completely unselfish act on his part. And it gave him a feeling of pride in making another person happy. I wouldn't want her to come back to complicate that. If they meet again, I see her reacting much like the boy Zuko saved from the Earth Kingdom bullies, because he won't be able to hide his identity anymore. I say let Zuko have at least one fond memory of Ba Sing Se and if he needs a girlfriend, he'll find someone who wouldn't have a problem with who he is.

I liked Jin and I hope they do bring her back. She was good for Zuko, she brought the teenager that he is out in the open. It was so cool seeing him so awkward around her, and I do think he liked her. He definatley has just a little self esteem issue when it comes to the scar, so it probably made him feel good to know that someone liked him. And so what if she liked him because of his looks, he IS good looking, and if I'm not mistaken, people generally go for someone who they are physically attracted to. I mean would you go for an ugly person? There has to be a physical attraction for ANY potential relationship to even start.
If you noticed in "Zuko Alone", Zuko was a very compassionate child, very happy, caring, pretty much a normal child. Jin kinda brought that back out in Zuko, so we saw a glimpse of the REAL Zuko once again. The real Zuko is kind, compassionate and caring, he's been through so much in his young life that it's kinda hard not to be so harsh and angry(I just wish he'd take it out on the right people). He needs someone like her to help him focus on things, that's what she did, she showed him there is more than the war, his throne, and the Avatar. It kinda scared him and he ran away. Normal for a boy I think, he's not used to that kind of life but he liked it. She let him enjoy himself and let him be more of himself, and he REALLY needs that.
As far as kissing on the first date, well it happens everyday. And I might be so bold as to say that much more than kissing goes on on a first date anymore, nothing wrong with it(the kissing that is). I can honestly say that if I was little more bold like Jin, I myself may have a boyfriend now. The girl has guts!!!
I thought Jin was a great character and I do hope we see her again. Maybe, just maybe, she can help Zuko get his head out of his butt, and see that what is in his heart is the right thing to do!

I totally agree! Jin is very influencial even if Jin and Zuko don't know it! In fact, i think the reason Iroh encouraged Zuko to go out with her is because he knows Zuko needs to be a little more...social. Back to his old self.

I like Jin. It'd be cool if she returned in season 3, but I can't see any reason why they would. To me, she was just a one-shot character, part of Zuko's development and an image of what life could've been like if he remained as Li the Tea Shop Boy instead of "following his destiny".
She's one of the girls I like to pair Zuko with, because I believe she could've done some good for him. Probably help him open up more, etc.
