Toph rocks! She kicks so much butt it isn't funny. Hmmm, I knew her voice sounded fimiliar, but now I know, Toph's voice is the same as Meng's! heh-heh, looks like she still gets to follow him around after all! *Faints* XD That's hilarious!! That has to be an omen of some kind!!

Mmm... I Like Toph, She's cool and all. I just hope she doesn't ruin Kataang....I have a feeling that shes only a temporary Addition to the group though, cause her dad sent those guys after her. In the end I think she'll go help in the war or something.

I think I want Toph's babies! Well that is after Aang's. Which is after Appa's! XD! It's just an inside joke. But again, I am totally in love with Toph. And Aang saw her in 'The Swamp"! The guy said "You see one that you lost that you love" didn't he? Something along those lines... Yea but that didn't apply to Aang. Aang's vision was about someone he was going to meet in the future, not about losing someone he loved.

Toph's character design is easily the best so far in the second season. Her voice was not as calm and collected as I anticipated but still nothing to complain about.
One thing I especially liked about her was how, because of her slow and deliberate fighting style, you could easily observe her earthbending stances. They were even accentuated to a degree, making her fighting style unique and memorable.
Why is it though, that there seems to be an unwritten rule in animation that whenever a character is blind, they tend to be some of the best fighters around? ;D

I thought how she fought was amazing. I loved it. It reminds me of DareDevil if you have ever seen that movie. Anyway, like firenationstooge said, it was easier to observe her fighting stances and techniques. I also thought it was cute when Aang and her were arguing lol

Yeah, it was very DDish. Taking away sight is by far the easiest in any entertainment. They can't take away touch or taste b/c that would involve missing body parts. And if they take away hearing, they have to learn all the sign language. And if they take away smell, that would just be boring. And then if a character was mute they would have to do sign-language as well or they would have no mouth! xD! Or they would communicate through the mind...

I actually thought Aang and Toph fighting at the dinner table was hilarious. It was like a brother and sister fighting. Although I'm hoping more will develop between those two than that.

Toph and her earthbending are amazing! She's just as good as Bumi probably is at the young age of 12. Her and Aang are the youngest prodigys in 100 years perhaps...Although her weakness may lie in not being able to sense foreign objects that travel through the Air, i think while she teaches Aang earthbending he's going to teach her how to evade aireal attacks and they'll both teach each other^^! I love how her and Aang interact. There such rivals and yet so mischevious! (Knocks Aang to a tree with Earthbending) Toph: "Now were even"

This is my little theory but i think her earthbending is powerful because she is blind. I'm thinking of the badger moles the "orginal" earthbenders. Well they seem to live under ground and probably have poor "light" vision like real moles so they rely more on vibration sensing. So maybe she is more in tune with natural earth bending than most humans can achive.

Yeah, Toph is more "natural" like the Earthbending moles in the Cave of Two Wonders.

Toph offically rocks. She's on my top 3! 1. Katara 2. Aang 3. Toph!

When I first heard of a blind earthbender, I thought of a calm sweet girl. And then, I was wrong. TOPH RULES!!!

I love Toph. She is so cute and has an adorable attitude, also very cool hair. Reminds me of me when I was her age. Lol. Anyways, she does fight very well for her age. That was amazing with the fight scene. When I first heard she was blind, it made me think of DareDevil immediately (my favorite movie in the world). The way she acted also was cute. The way she tuanted the fighters was funny. At first she seemed too young for Aang in the case of the A/T pairing. Like six or something, but now then I saw she was 12 yeras old so she isn't. Anyways, she is an overall good character and seems like a good addition. I hope she fights Katara in one eppie ^_^
