I think Zuko's Destiny is to end the war... ', hey don't look at me like that! -_0' Nobody really knows what Zuko's destiny is, not even him.

Yeah, personally I'm a little glad it wasnt the 'perfect world' and everything didn't end up happily ever after.
Though I was sad that Zuko betrayed his uncle, so obviously he is affected VERY greatly from wanting to be accepted by the Firenation. Supposedly everything is propaganda, maybe they force it into their minds that way?
However I truly think Zuko felt bad or ashamed for what he did to his uncle.
edit correction: I said was instead of wasn't sorry bout that.

I didn't read that xD... text wall. Well, at first Zuko's progress was 'irriating' me, but after the season finale, I must say, I like it. x3

I think that Zuko will end up playing a big role in stopping the war, alone however, and will die trying.

I enjoy this episode and what will come in store with Zuko. I do think Zuko has gotten better and stronger...no matter what the choice he made. Still make me wonder if he full fledged villain, hidden hero, or stuck in the middle.

Me? My gut feeling that Zuko will be the one to ultimately pay the price of the war in the end has just tripled. I think he's going to die next season. I will be utterly surprised if he becomes the next Fire Lord, or if he I don't know how though. It could be he turns to the good side long before then, or it could be at the very end. I just have a very strong feeling that Zuko's not going to make it. Death is written all over his choices and development. Then again... I heard the creators said somewhere the posters for Zuko and Iroh would change from dead or alive to just dead later on... I might be wrong, and I can't even remember where I heard it , but maybe Zuko is planning to betray Azula after all. Okay, my death vibes just lowered a bit.

Yeah, Zuko's definitely going to have to pay for his actions in some way. I mean, if he and Iroh break out and Iroh forgives him like it's nothing.......I'll be severely ticked I know forgiveness is wonderful, but there's no way he can get off without some punishment. Karma is a theme in this show, man. Zuko's in trouble

Wow, what a difference a finale makes! I honestly was blown away by Zuko in the finale and I'm not really sure what to expect from here on out. I have to agree with those who said that it was brilliant writing on the part of the creators. We got something we never expected and that's always brilliant, IMO. Zuko was given a chance to make his choice. He did choose. When he told Katara that he had changed, he was telling the truth. He had broken free of the prison of his father's expectations and, like his uncle said, became a man who was wiser and freer than ever before. He went through the metamorphosis we all knew he would. Then, in the moment of truth, he chose to stand beside his sister. That makes the betrayal of his uncle all the worse. His uncle was his rock, his moral compass, his only source of unconditional love after his mother left. He turned his back on all of that. It really did make for compelling drama, though I have to admit I was in shock when I realized what was going on. Bring on Season 3!!

Zuko's choice was a real twist, but I still believe he'll learn the error of his ways (and keep his life in the process). He's not really evil, just messed up. Kinda reminds me of Terra in Teen Titans. Zuko always seems to bring this tune into my head: www.uffsite.net/ff4/ost/22%20-%20Suspicion.mp3If anyone here has played Final Fantasy IV, you'll recognize it.

My sister was explaining that to me, how Zuko is just pretending, like Terra. But NEITHER are pretending... they're just both awesomely messed up. Terra is my all-time favorite character, and honestly I have a lot more respect for Zuko then I used to. yeah, he used to be an 'eh' character to me, but now he's just awesome.

Zuko isn't naive to believe in Azula, he relies that Azula offer might benefit him in the future. I believe Zuko will betray Azula, he just using her.

We forget Ursa... Zuko's supposed to be looking for her next season. Zuko did tell Katara the FN took her away from him, so I really don't know what he thinks of the FN right now, or his family...
Personally, I doubt Zuko's really on Azula's side.
